Tapos na ang kasiyahan kaya inihatid na ni Gregorio si Floribeth sa kaniyang magulang.
Kinabukasan, tumulong si Floribeth sa paghanda ng almusal. Habang naghahananda sila may isang lalaki na lumapit kay Floribeth.
"Magandang Umaga, binibini." bati niya. Ningitian lamang siya ni Floribeth.
"Hoy! Ernesto, tigilan mo yang kaibigan ko." sabi ni Marisol.
"Ahhh, ikaw pala si Floribeth. Nagagalak kitang makilala." kindat niya kay Floribeth.
May biglang nagsalita sa likod niya at hinalikan sa noo si Floribeth.
"At ako naman si Gregorio Del Pilar, kasintahan ni Flor." Bungad ni Gregorio.

"Duwag pala yun eh." tawa ni Gregorio.

Tapos na silang kumain at nagsiligo na rin sila. Sa bandang tanghali may naisip si Goyo at lumapit siya kay Joven.
"Joven, diba may natira ka pang isang pangkuha ng litrato?" tanong niya. Tumango naman si Joven.
"Maari mo ba kaming kuwanan ni Floribeth?"
"Oo naman po, saan po ba?"
"Sa bandang doon yung sa may mga puno."
"Sige po, ihanda ko lamang ang aking gamit." sabi ni Joven.
Agad naman dumeretso si Goyo kay Floribeth. Pumayag naman si Floribeth at naglakad na sila patungo sa mga puno.
Kulay berde at puti ang baro't saya niya at naka uniporme naman si Goyong.
Habang wala pa si Joven, nag usap muna ang dalawa.
"Goyong, bakit ba tayo magpapakuha ng litrato?" tanong ni Floribeth.
"Para bukas kasama pa rin kita."
"Kailangan ba talaga na sumama ka sa kanila?"
"Oo, utos kasi ni Ka Miong..."
Dumating na si Joven at inihanda na ang pangkuha ng litrato.
"Handa na po. Wala na pong gagalaw."

"Salamat, Joven."
"Intay nalang po tayo ng ilang minuto." tumango naman sila.
Mayamaya inilabas na ni Joven ang litrato mula sa ilalim ng pangkuha ng litrato.
"Eto na po. Mauna na po ako" tumango nalang si Goyo.
Tinignan nilang dalawa ang kanilang litrato. "Ang ganda."
"Para lagi kitang kasama." inilagay na ni Gregorio ang litrato sa kaniyang loob ng lalagyanan ng mga gamit niya.
Walang nagsalita sa kanilang dalawa kaya naisipan ni Gregorio na ito na ang tamang oras na pag uusapan nila.
"Aalis na kami mamaya..." hindi nagsalita si Floribeth dahil hindi niya alam ang sasabihin. Mayamaya umiyak nalang bigla si Floribeth.
"Huy, wag kang umiyak. Uuwi naman ako agad..."
"Hindi naman sigurado yan. Sama nalang ako."
"Alam mong hindi kita papayagan."
"Ipangako mo sa akin nababalik ka."
"Pangako."
