unideal that Saffron had to become overcome in the Grey as she transported herself from London back to Holyhead.

The stress of seeing Squire's extra set of eyes in Diagon Alley, coupled with seeing Ron's lovely family getting in a row with Draco's nasty one was evidently enough to flick a switch in her mind, to make her go there.

Sweating, Saffron sighed and opened her eyes to see a grey world surrouding her. But after a mere second, out of the shadows came a girl. A girl that she had seen before. A girl that might as well have been herself.

The bright red ribbon that Saffron wore that very moment was in that girls hair. For Prina Mitchell, or as she was then known, Adhani was walking towards her.

"I've been waiting to see you again," Prina called across to her daughter, suddenly coming to a halt in her ghostlike drift towards her. "I've heard you, all the time, but seeing you is a completely different beast. It's taken you a while to be ready,"

"I don't think I can ever be ready for this," Saffron told her, standing up from her sprawled out positon on the floor. She stared across at the girl and waited for her to make the next move because Saffron didn't even know how she could start. They were a million miles apart.

"That's fair," said Prina. "If I remember correctly, it took me an awfully long time to accept what I was seeing in the Grey. It took me even longer to allow it to follow me outside of it, which I suspect will happen with you too,"

"Why are you here?" Saffron decided to cut to the chase. She expected to get a whishy washy answer back, but she figured that while she was there she might as well ask it.

Prina sighed. "I don't know, as hard as that must be for you to stomach, it's the truth. I'm nothing more than abandonded memories that the older version, your mother, left in the Grey. All I know is pieces of what she told the Grey and what the Grey knows, which is what you will get from it eventually,"

"So you know nothing about why you died?" Saffron asked her dryly.

"No," Prina shook her head. "I'm not really here, Saffron, I've, or Prina has disappeared, long ago, I'm merely what you want to see," Prina continued upon seeing the sour expression etched upon Saffron's face. "But what I can tell you is what I see now, and what I see now is that you are exactly what your mother would want you to be, and that has to mean something. Don't you think?"

Saffron thought carefully about her answer. Her mother made the decision to leave them. She took her own life and left her four children behind with no plan. Was that somebody she wanted to make proud? Was that somebody she wanted to be like?

She knew that there was so much more to it than that. She understood that her mother was alone, sick and feeling forgotten. But that didn't negate the event that happened. That didn't change the outcome. Therefore, Saffron let her feelings become known in the Grey.

"I don't know that it does,"

Prina pouted at her, just as she began to fade away. "Until next time, child,"

"Saffron! Saffron?"

"Rachel, get out of her face! She doesn't want to wake up to your face,"

"Leave her alone, Rowan. Just keep it down, both of you,"

"Rowan started it!"

Saffron's eyes fluttered as she came back into conciousness to the usual sound of her siblings bickering amongst each other. She felt her left hand grip onto her matress, which told her that after she had arrived back in Squires she had been moved upstairs by her siblings. That fact filled her up with relief, for that meant that Squire hadn't caught them.

However, she was met by a toned down, yet equally as snippy equivelant in her older sister.

"Oh, Saffron I knew this was a terrible idea. I never should have let you three go along with it," Maya snapped, moreso at herself than at anyone else. The older sibling helped Saffron sit up and beckoned for Rachel to pass some doleo medicine over to them.

Saffron accepted the bottle gratefully and sipped one mouthful from the lid of the bottle. "We didn't get caught, that's all that matters, right?"

"Wrong," answered Maya.

"Right!" retorted Rowan adamantly.

"Wrong," interjected Rachel, continuing briskly before her brother could argue against her. "What if she had fallen into the Grey before she left, she could have ended up anywhere!"

"But she didn't," pointed out Rowan.

"But she could have," argued Maya. "Rachel's right, it was far too risky. Add what happened to you Saff on top of seeing Josephine at Flourish and Blotts . . . we probably have eaten into a years supply of luck that nothing went wrong,"

"Whatever," Saffron shrugged. "I'm glad we did it, you can't say we didn't get anything good out of it. I got to see my friends, and you two got to meet Ginny,"

"Ginny was cool," nodded Rowan enthusically. "Quiet, but cool,"

"And Mrs. Weasley was so sweet," said Rachel with an excited grin. "She invited us over to stay with them during next Summer if we wanted to, wouldn't that be amazing?"

"Less time with Squire," said Saffron, staring outside the window dreamily. "Sounds amazing to me,"

Maya sighed. "As good as all of that is, we got lucky today, and we can't afford to do anything so reckless again. No matter how much fun it might be. So much could have gone wrong today, and I never could have forgiven myself if it did,"

"We're not going to even to have to worry about it anymore though, Maya," Saffron told her matter-of-factly. "We're out of Squires pretty much for good soon,"

"I mean everywhere," said Maya, looking at each of her siblings individually. "Especially after everything you got yourself involved in last year in school, Saff,"

"It'll be fine," insisted Saffron lazily, lying on her bed, looking up at the ceiling, wanting nothing more than to go to sleep. She yawned and went on to say. "I've survied one year, you've survived three. Right? So what could possibly go wrong after getting this far?"
