《More Than Meets the Eye (A Ninjago Fanfic)》Chapter 12: The Fight for Ninjago

"Alright boys!" I called out to the ninja. still concentrating my hateful gaze upon this man. Not only did he change me back with that reaction of powers, but he also restored my memories...all of them. "We fight for Ninjago!" I exclaimed.
"NO!!!" Cried Morro. "This fight is just you and me child! If you take a step in this direction...I will kill her!" He continued, infuriated as he turned his attention to the ninja as he said the last part.
The ninja, who were preparing to take a step in my direction, stopped short as they looked at me with apologetic eyes. I looked on with confidence even though I was freaking out inside. I wasn't sure I could do this without them.
"As you wish." I stated, a smirk gracing my delicate pink lips as my eyes once again targeted Morro's. "Raaah!!!" I growled savagely as I leapt forward, taking the first turn.
Static prickled the soft flesh of my palms as I formed an evilly glittering and bloodthirsty ball of electric blue light. I released said orb of vibrant blue light in mid-jump. As I began my descent toward the main deck of the Bounty, I managed to spin my body in a full circle, all the while forming a bolt of emerald wrath in my hands. As instantaneously as it was formed, I released the bolt of energy so as to allow no time for Morro to avoid the strike after dodging the blue orb from a split second earlier.
Morro cried out as my light bolt made impact with his left shoulder, searing the skin. He hastily pulled it from is shoulder as he glared murderously at me. "Okay you little brat! My turn..." He hissed.
He retaliated by whirling a column of rotating air at me. I dodged with an inch to spare and landed in a crouched position. From said position, I clapped my hands together and then spread them apart, forming innumerable arrows of golden light, all aiming directly at Morro.
A few of the arrows managed to lodge themselves in his thighs and upper arms, but most were caught up in his whirlwind and turned back in my direction. i turned and tried to dive out of the way only to be greeted by the sensation of three arrows plunging into the tender flesh of my back, searing the skin as I collapsed.

I screamed in agony before I managed to disintegrate the arrows in my back. I would have done so before they hit me had there been a fewer number of arrows.
Glancing at Lloyd I saw his expression. Every aspect of his expression screamed concern, sadness, helplessness, and a plea for me to live. The pleas screaming from his eyes motivated me , but the motivation came a second too late.
My body was soon being blasted with immensely fast wind, strait-line wind speeds to be exact. The wind buffeted my figure as I clung to the wood of the deck from where I had collapsed. I was suddenly ripped from the deck and thrown through the air only for my back and head to make contact with the wood of the deck and walls. I somersaulted across the deck before colliding upside-down against the wall, which is where my body came to rest.
I heard shouts form the boys as I gazed up at Morro from my upside-down position, watching him approach me and finally set his feet on the deck of the ship. I slowly rose to my feet and began to look for a way to get out of being cornered. My battered body ached as I saw my only way out. This was going to hurt very, very badly.
"You think you can escape my wrath with those fancy arrows of yours? You are mistaken child!" Morro smirked, crossing his arms over his chest.
He was distracted...now's my chance! "Um...Morro?"
"What?" Snapped an irritated idiot, clueless to what I was planning.
"There's something on your face..."
"What is it?" He asked, his eyes slightly downcast.
I jumped up and grabbed a wooden support for the overhang of the bit of roof that protruded from the wall. "My feet!" I yelled as I swung my body forwards and connected my feet to his face. He stumbled backwards and toppled over as I flipped and landed on my feet behind him in a crouched position, wincing.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...I'll kill you for that!" Said Morro grinning villainously as he stood erect, towering over me, casting a shadow over me that hid my small frame from the sun. He then acted, making thick tentacles of wind vortexes surround me. The cage of wind, in which I was trapped, began to shrink as I shakily stood.

I quickly raised a shield of jade tinted light around me. At that point the wind came crashing in on my shield. I used every ounce of energy I had, but it wasn't enough. The winds broke through my shield and tossed my limp body around like a rag doll before crashing me into the mast of the Bounty.
At this point I was struggling to see clearly and stand. I leaned against the mast for support. I was pretty sure I looked really rough. Blood was dripping from my fingertips after running down my arms in rivulets. I had gashes in my legs that oozed the same red liquid. I felt dizzy and weak. I was on the verge of falling unconscious.
"Tch. I knew you were weak, but this is pathetic. I expected more." Sneered Morro with a click of his tongue.
That struck a nerve. I mustered up enough energy and will-power and yelled, "I'm not done yet!" I stood up strait in determination as blood leaked from my forehead and into my eyes, down my face, and into my mouth. The taste of iron made me all the more determined.
Morro and I both attacked at the same time. I shot a beam of black light and he loosed his strongest vortex of wind. They met in the middle once more, this time only fighting for dominance rather than causing a chain reaction. His wind began to push my light back. It continued inching towards me. I gave my light beam all the power I had. Had it not been for the Bounty's mast, I would have collapsed on the floor.
The wind vortex hit me. It felt as tough it was trying to rip the flesh from my bones. I cried out in agony as I was thrown across the main deck on my back. I pushed against the unforgiving wood in an effort to get up and ended up falling back onto the floor. My eyes blurred with tears at the relentless pain.
"Ha ha ha...you lose!" Called Morro.
"Shimmer!!" Cried Lloyd.
"Shimmer!!" I screamed out as I made my way to her side. The only thing I could think of was 'please don't leave me...I need you...'
I could feel tears beginning to pool in the corners of my eyes. I glared at Morro as I cradled my beauty in my arms.
I blinked back tears to see Lloyd hovering over me. His blue eyes were filled with fear and the beginning of tears. His eyes were pleading me to live, to be okay. He cradled me in his arms. I could feel his hands gently trembling. The tears in his eyes continued to gather as he glared at Morro.
Gathering the last bit of strength I had, I shot one final orb at Morro, its color, red. The orb found its target and knocked him down for a little while. As soon as I loosed the orb I heard Lloyd gasp and I felt my eyelids become very heavy. They felt like lead.
"Finish what I started, Lloyd..." I whispered as loud as I could, which wasn't much, "finish this fight." I pleaded with him, my vision darkening by the second.
I was barely able to see him at this point, but I could see just enough to see him nod his head as the tears spilled down his cheeks. He began trembling even more than before.
'I'm so sorry, Lloyd. I wish I could stay, but I really must go...take care of yourself...' I thought.
A slight smile graced my lips as my eyes began to close. I felt a warm teardrop hit my cheek and Lloyd hug me closer to himself as he sobbed into the crook of my neck. My eyes then closed and the world ceased to exist as darkness overwhelmed me. The darkness was all that remained.

The Order of Sekhmet

Check. Burning passion? Check. After all, blood is a good moisturizer. Please note that I have flagged my content.
