《Ninjago Perfect Match Boyfriend Scenarios--Jay》Saving Jay {Sort Of}

"Well," you whisper, "We found it."
Around the corner, the tunnel opens out into a huge cavern filled with Serpentine. It's lit by strange, glowing plants that are growing up the walls and over various rock formations on the floor. Further up, a series of walkways made of ropes and wooden planks have been strung between hanging stalactites.
"There's Jay!" you whisper, pointing. On the other side of the cavern, you can see a makeshift cell carved into the wall. Inside is a person wearing a blue gi. It can only be one person—Jay. "But why aren't there any guards?"
Nya shrugs. "You said he was probably hypnotized. One of them could have just ordered him to stay put."
You frown. "Then why did they even bother with the cell? If he obeys all their orders—"
Both you and Nya freeze as a few Serpentine walk past the mouth of the passage. "Isn't it obvious?" Nya whispers back once they're gone. "It's a trap. We step into the cell to rescue Jay, and they slam the door behind us. Or he might not be hypnotized at all, and they actually are keeping him locked up."
"Oh."
"If Jay really has been hypnotized, we'll need to get the Hypnobrai staff," Nya says with a frown. "That could make things a lot harder."
"I don't actually know a whole lot about Serpentine," you admit.
"The blue ones are the Hypnobrai," Nya whispers. "They're the ones who can hypnotize people. We're looking for the one with a long tail. He should have the staff with the antivenom we need to save Jay."
You nod. "Blue snake, long tail, staff. Got it."
Nya puts a hand on your shoulder to stop you. "Don't look any of the Hypnobrai in the eyes. That's how they get you."

"Well," you laugh nervously. "This should be a breeze, then."
Nya laughs a little bit as well. "I'll get the staff. You find Jay. And stay out of sight."
You look out at the multicolored crowd of Serpentine. "No kidding."
"All right. On three."
You and Nya share a nod, and then Nya starts counting. "One, two—"
You brace yourself and get ready.
"—three!"
Nya darts forward into the shadow of a nearby stalagmite while you use your powers to propel you up to one of the walkways on the ceiling. There aren't any Serpentine up here, and none of the ones on the floor are looking up. You quickly make your way across the tomb to the makeshift cell. There's nobody around—except, of course, the ninja inside the cell itself. The keys to the door are hanging on the wall nearby. You guess none of the Serpentine thought they'd need a guard.
Unless Nya's right, and it's a trap...
You push that thought away and grab the keys. The first two keys you try don't fit in the lock, but the third one works, and the cell door swings open.
"Jay!" you whisper loudly. "Jay! Come on! I'm getting you out of here!"
Jay turns to face you. You're startled to see that his face is completely blank, as if he's confused or doesn't recognize you. It can only mean one thing—he's hypnotized.
Before you can decide what to do next, Jay solves that problem for you. He opens his mouth and shouts, "INTRUDER!"

Taverns edge - A mercenary's guide to Ley Line traveling
The taverns edge is a fiction that centers around a pair of unusual friends. A mercenary that happens to be a princess of fae, but prefers to stay in a well-known établissement instead of staying in the Sidhe. Moira. Being half a dragon doesn't really help getting along with snobbish elitists at her mother's court. Like all sidhe she likes to strike a good deal... Which has led into many a disaster... Though she always tends to get by, especially when she gets home to the Tavern on the edge. The mentioned établissement is run by the formidable Barkeeper and jack of all trades Tora, who happens to have a very interesting past. Which involves more than one sinister secret... Now add to the mix a totally clueless elven girl - a mortal, not a fae- on the run. Lunara. She has unknowingly struck a deal with the devil - quite literally. Now unable to handle the consequences on her own she enters the tavern on the edge. An epicenter for magic and the only place where she might find help. She talks Moira into helping her out. A race against time begins as the deal's symbols appear on Lunara's skin. The journey leads to the dwarven empire, the sidhe and wherever the crossing leylines under the tavern may lead. This fiction belongs to the same universe as Ancient Blood. English is not my native language, so please don't be harsh. This story is an adaption of an idea, that we, a friend of mine and me, have developed over a few months while taking a break from learning. Some parts were written by Emberspark. Thank you for allowing me to work with your ideas and letting me publish this as a whole. Updates... I will try to frequently update both of my fictions... Well in case you are interested I post it on Scribble hub, too. I really don't steal from myself 😂
