You and Nya follow the tunnel ahead of you downward. It twists back and forth, but there are no forks or side passages. You can only hope that the tunnel doesn't lead to a dead end—the way back is blocked from the cave-in. If you can get to the Serpentine tomb, there should be another way back to the surface, but you don't even know if this tunnel leads to the tomb.

"I hope we find the Serpentine soon," Nya says. "I'm starting to get a little claustrophobic down here."

"At least that draft means it's not stuffy anymore," you reply. When you first came into the tunnels, it was too hot, but now a slight breeze is blowing through the tunnel. It's not very strong, but it's making the tunnel much more comfortable.

"Y/n, I don't think that's a draft. I think that's you."

You come to a stop. "Me? But—"

"It looks like you've finally got a grip on your powers," Nya says with a grin.

You shrug helplessly. "I didn't even know I was doing it. It just feels so natural now."

Nya comes to a stop and smacks her forehead. "I've got it!"

"What?"

"Why you're suddenly so good at using your powers! You've unlocked your full potential!"

"My what?"

Nya smiles excitedly. "Let me explain. You've always been able to use your powers, but that's not all there is to it. There's another level of power to your elemental ability, which we call your full potential, that you can only unlock through practice and by overcoming your flaws to become a better person."

You frown, trying to take all of that in. "Then what happened to make me unlock my full potential now?"

Nya shrugs. "I don't know. It's different for everyone. Cole had to stand up to his father. Zane found out he was a nindroid. Jay realized that he didn't have to pretend to be something he wasn't for people to like him. Kai needed to lose some of his ego," she adds with a giggle.

You laugh, too. "I don't think it took."

"No, it took," Nya says. "He was even worse before he found his true potential."

"I'll believe that when I see it," you reply with a grin.

Nya abruptly holds out an arm to stop you from walking any farther forward. "Speaking of seeing..."

You squint ahead and finally see what Nya noticed. There's light coming from around the next curve in the tunnel. Nya turns off the flashlight and you both tiptoe forward until you can peek around the corner. You both stare for a second, then pull back and look at each other.

"Well," you whisper. "We found it."
