"So this is where you've been -------. I've been looking for you everywhere you know. Seems like you finally managed to play that tune on the flute."
Not this again...
"I needed somewhere to relax. It's not every day you find out that soon, we're going to be having a war at our hands."
Stop it.
"I'll be fine. Besides, I can take care of myself. I've lasted this long somehow. We're both going to come out of this war together though, right?"
ENOUGH!
My eyes shoot open in terror, gasping for air as I fall off the bed. "Gah!" Stupid dream!
I run my fingers through my hair, trying to catch my breath. Why is that flash repeating in my dreams now?!... Why can't I just be left alone damn it?!
I take a few more breaths before calming down. I take a quick look around before doing a double-take. Wait, am I in the training room?! How the hell did I get here?! And why does it look messed up?.. What happened here?...
I go to rub my eyes to make sure what I was seeing was really the training room, but when my left-hand touches my eyes, it doesn't feel my hand. I move my hands slowly away from my face and turn to my hand.
The Sacred Flute was kept tightly in my hand.
My eyes widen at it before throwing the flute onto the ground harshly, watching it turn into dust. "Why- How- What in the name of Spinjitzu is happening?!"
I finally notice that my breathing has become rapid and my hands are shaking violently. "Is this another dream?... Let me wake up then damn it!"
Panic and adrenaline set into my body as I quickly get up, and run over to the door, trying to open up the door. But, no matter how hard I pull on the doors, they just won't open. Alright, they won't open, so plan B!
I reach for my fans from their hilt, but for whatever reason, they aren't there. "Huh?!" I look around the room trying to find them but they aren't there. "The hell?! Where are they?! Wait... Where are all the weapons?! Gah! Screw it! I just need to get out of here!"
I try to break open the door with punches, kicks, and even trying to throw myself at it. But, no matter what, it doesn't happen. It stays completely shut no matter what. "Help! Someone open this door! Please! Anyone there?! Cole! Jay! Zane! Nya?!... Kai?!"
No response.
"Please! Get me out of here! I'm starting to see things that I shouldn't and I feel unsafe you know!"
No response.
I bang on the door even more, but tI hear a familiar voice behind me and my eyes widen in horror.
"You didn't save me."
I stop dead in my tracks. I don't dare turn around. I-It can't be y-you... Y-You're still trapped...
"You left me to the snakes. I'm in constant fear for my life now. I don't even know if I'll last into the next day."
"I-I-I..."
"You did this to me Y/n."
I turn around quickly, staring at the blonde who has shaken up my world. "I-I... I'm sorry Lloyd! I do intend to save you! I don't want you to-"
"You left me behind."
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I didn't want to leave you behind! I wanted you to take my place instead! I..."
I hear rumbling causing me to look around as the entire room starts shifting into something unknown. I turn back to Lloyd, surprised to no longer see him standing there anymore. Everything around me starts transforming into a flower field and where the door where once was as it becomes a cliff to the sea. "What is happening?..."

I try to move away from my spot out of terror, but before I get to even take a step, vines wrap around my legs, stopping me in my tracks. My eyes widen in more horror, trying to figure out why I'm here. What the hell!? Am I still dreaming or is this reality?!
I try to remove them though for some reason, they have a death grip around my legs. "Damn it! Why can't I just escape this place?!"
This time, another voice catches my attention, but one that's not so familiar. However, what they do say is familiar. "I don't know where your other friend is at, but taking out at least one of you is better than none."
What?! What do they mean by that?!
I force myself to turn around to face the person, yet I can't see them. They look completely blurry. All of a sudden, it's like my body stops listening to me and shuts me out completely. My mouth moves on its own. "I may not take you down but at least I can stop you as much as possible! He can do the rest and save this realm!"
"Is that so? Too bad it will all be in vain."
"That's what you are going to be saying when I defeat you!"
That's when everything goes dark.
What am I saying? What are they saying? What am I doing here in the first place?! I just want to be in my room!
"Found you Y/n. Still alive after all these years."
Huh?...
I blink and all of a sudden, a ball of light is hurdling toward me, filling the darkness with its light. My eyes widen in terror and before I know it, I'm blasted away from the flower field and off the cliff. The last thing I see on the cliff is the strange person, the flowers dying, a person running up to the cliff, and a sword on the ground.
Welp, guess I'm dead. Thought I would go out cooler but welp! I blink rapidly, seeing the entire world around me turning black while there is a small light still trying to shine through it all. I try to reach out for the faint light, but it's just too far. I start panicking realizing this is actually it.
"Ah! Help! Anyone! Please! Help!" I scream out but it's too late.
I feel my back hit the cool water as the wind gets knocked out completely and I start sinking into the water. My vision starts to get blurry, and it feels like my chest is burning, ready to explode. My entire body is just in complete pain. I try to gasp for air while holding onto my chest, trying to calm myself down. I try to swim out but my body keeps on sinking more and more. The air starts drifting out of my lungs and I try to breathe but it's no use.
I start coughing, trying to gasp for air. "H-Help!"
~
"Gah!" I quickly wake up, gasping, and fall off of the bed. "Ow! The hell?!"
I rub my head before looking around as my eyes adjust to the lighting. "What just happened?... Was that a dream?... Am I still in a dream?!"
I hit my head on the bedframe as a sharp pain goes through my body. "Ow!" I rub my head. "Yup, not dreaming... Ow... I hate my life..."
I finally pull my legs to my chest and look at my hands. "Just what was that?... And why did it feel so familiar?..."

I walk through the hallways of the Bounty as I hold my head. "Jeez, I really shouldn't have done that. Now my head is pounding." I think back to the dream. My stomach does a flip, thinking about everything that happened in that dream. "Why now?... What is even happening to me?... Am I supposed to remember something?..."
I hear some footsteps coming from behind me and I turn around, seeing Jay and Cole walk toward me. I give them a small smile calming my nerves a bit.
"What are you doing up Y/n? I thought you were taking a nap," Jay asks confused.
"I was but... I don't know. I guess I couldn't sleep anymore."
Cole, now concerned, kneels down to my level. "Don't tell me you've started dreaming about those weird flashes you keep having?"
I nod while looking away a bit.
"I'm sorry kid about this. If only we can just wave a wand and fix all of this, then maybe you would have a more normal childhood. Even if uh being a ninja at twelve isn't exactly normal heh."
"I doubt I'm ever going to have a normal childhood..."
Jay, being the optimistic he is, picks me up and smiles. "Look, whatever happens, you still got us right? And maybe you'll even unlock your true potential!"
"Maybe I will heh. But yeah, I hope everything does work out... Thanks."
"Of course and good! Now how about we play some video games?"
"Yeah! I still don't know how they work! But yeah!"
"We really need to teach her how to play or else she will end up breaking another controller."
"She broke three already!" Cole exclaims.
"It was made stupidly big!"
~
After about half an hour of trying to learn how to play video games, I decided to just give up and watch Cole and Jay play instead. It's better for everyone's sake. "Yeah! You guys can do it! Show those uh... skeletons? what you can do!"
"Come on Cole! We're so close!" Jay shouts out while smashing more buttons on the controller.
"I'm trying but there's too many of them!"
Although they try their best, their characters end up dying.
We all fall back from exhaustion, staring at the ceiling. "Aw, man! Now we're gonna have to do this all again!" Jay whines.
Cole sighs. "Seems like we're going to be here for a while then. Kid, can you bring us some drinks and snacks? We're going to need a lot of energy if we want to get back where we were."
"Don't call me kid. But I'll bring them!" I stand up and head to the kitchen. Needed a break anyway after that whole video game situation.
You know watching them play really took my mind off of everything. It was fun actually heh... Maybe I am just thinking about it too hard and it was all just in my head... I shake my thoughts away while I enter the kitchen. "I really need to turn off my brain somehow. It's getting to me too frequently."
"Yeah, you really should honestly."
"Ye- Hey wait a minute." I turn to the voice, spotting Kai as the origin of it while he leans against a counter and eating something. "Oh."
"Don't 'oh' me!"
"Well don't agree with me!"
We glare at each other as silence fills the room. It's an intense thirty seconds.
Eventually, the fire head breaks it. "Y/n. We need to stop this. If we keep on fighting, then we will be putting Ninjago's fate at risk."
"Well, you aren't exactly making it easy."
"Look, we were just worried about you. Can't you see what we did was for your own good? So you can finally talk to us about important stuff?"
"Yeah, but literally attacking me is not the way to do so! I could've been killed! Should've just let me talk to you guys when I was ready! Or! Every better! I could've told you if you asked nicely!"
"But you always end up doing this and never tell end up telling us about anything!"
"Maybe because you always want to know as soon as possible! I don't work like that!"
We glare at each other as the tension between us gets thicker and thicker. Yeah, it just keeps getting more and more intense. Just my luck.
Just get what you needed Y/n and head back so you don't have to deal with this idiot.
I walk past Kai while glaring at him as I open the fridge door, rummaging through all the little things we have.
Damn. We really need to get more soon... What city are we over right now? Maybe we can get some stuff there. We definitely need that grocery run. I rummage a bit more, hoping to see if at least my pudding cup is still there. I swear put it in there!
"What happened to my pudding cup?..."
Kai slurps loudly catching my attention.
My eyes widen in anger. "I'm going to kill you, Smith!"
"You'll get it back if you can reach it," He says, raising his hand that has the pudding cup, knowing full well I can't reach up there.
Ass.
I glare at him and walk over. "I hate you."
"You too kid."
I kick his stomach as hard as possible causing him to hunch over to hold his stomach causing him to drop the cup. Luckily for me, I manage to catch it in time.
"Gah! The hell?!"
"I am still your teacher while Sensei is away. And you need discipline hmpf." I walk out of the kitchen while eating my pudding cup.
"Hmpf she sure is annoying..." He sighs. "I do need to make up with her though... Even if I don't want to."
~
On my way back, I finish eating my pudding cup. Unluckily for me though, Kai almost finished everything. "Stupid hothead..." I mumbled underneath my breath.
I stare at the cup for a moment, noticing that this is really the first time I've eaten a chocolate pudding cup. I've always eaten the vanilla ones. Huh, that's strange. I wonder why I'm even eating this if I'm not a fan of-
It hits me like a bag of bricks.
It's Lloyd's favorite flavor...
My mind starts drifting to him, wondering if he's alright or not. Questions and worries fill my head, causing me to not look where I'm going which ends up me bumping into someone. I fall onto the floor as I rub my head. "Ow..."
"Oh dear, are you alright?"
I look up, noticing a familiar face. "Oh, sorry Zane. I didn't see you there..."
"It's quite alright Y/n." He smiles. "Though, it's unlike you to act this way. You're usually always on guard and aware of your surroundings always. I'm guessing it's Lloyd again?"
I look away from him. "I-I... Yeah. It was... I guess I just miss him. It's weird though since I barely know him and yet it feels as though we're connected... And then these flashes happen! And I just..." I sigh.
He stares at me for a moment then kneels down to my level. "Hmm, I'm not exactly sure why you feel that but I think I might have an idea."
"You do?..."
"Maybe it's because you feel like you should protect him in a way. After all, he was in a way, your first friend that's actually your age. Someone who you can depend on. So since you met Lloyd, you sorta clung onto him which is why without, you feel like your life is falling apart. "
I look at him. "Are you sure though? How do you even know?"
"Because when Sensei Wu left, it was hard. He was like a father figure to me. It may not have seemed like it on the outside but internally, I was freaking out. I didn't know what would happen without him and yet now, it feels like I can handle the world. I guess I just needed to figure out myself and doing that, it really helped me get to my true potential. And maybe once you do that, you might start feeling the same way."
"My true potential..." I sigh. "I don't even think I have one because I don't exactly have an elemental power like you all. I'm just... a normal person who is also a ninja. You guys are different types of Ninja though. You guys do have elemental powers and I don't... I wasn't even in the prophecy like you guys!"
Zane's eyes widen in realization. She thinks she's not as important as us... "Y/n... You're just as important as us even without elemental powers. Look, even if you don't have a true potential like us, you're a great ninja. After all, you helped Sensei Wu train us. And whatever is happening with your past, with your flashes, and Lloyd, we can help you."
"Right... Thanks. I don't know... Right now, these flashes just don't feel right. They feel like it's trying to call out to me. Begging me to go to them... Almost as if they are my past. But, it's honestly impossible that it is. You know?"
He simply stays silent, trying to process what I said. I stare at Zane for a few moments before something clicks. I drop my pudding cup. "Wait... What if it is connected somehow? What if it explains why I somehow appeared in the Monastery with lightning and purple and all that stuff?!
"Wait, Y/n! Calm down! Please. What are you talking about?"
"Then that would mean that the place I see in my flashes is actual places... They exist somewhere in Ninjago..."
"Y/n, what are you talking about? None of this is making sense."
"No, it makes perfect sense! We have to go to this place now!" I run towards the Bridge as Zane calls out to me.
"Y/n! Wait!"
It has to make sense! It has to! That's the only explanation for everything! Maybe going there will help me through this!
~
I make it onto the Bridge as I run over to the control panel and push away Nya from it.
"Hey!"
"Sorry!" I shout out while looking at all the buttons in front of me. "Hmpf I knew I should've studied how to use this console thingy..."
I try to press some buttons, but all it does is open unnecessary windows.
Nya walks up to me, looking at the panel in confusion. "Y/n what are you doing?"
"I'm trying to find all the flower fields in Ninjago. It's the only way..."
"The only way what?"
"To figure out my life," I say with determination before looking at her with pleading eyes.
She smiles softly at me before caving in. "Fine, fine. I'll help"
"Thank you, Nya. I really appreciate this a lot."
She pushes some buttons on the console as the map projects a few dots on it across Ninjago.
I stare at it, trying to figure out which one might be the one from my flashes. If only my flashes gave me more of a hint of where it is...
"Y/n-"
What if falling off of that mountain or cliff was my hint though? What if that cliff is connected to the flower field?
"Wait. Add into the console thingy to see if there are any flower fields near any cliffs or any mountains please."
"Got it."
She types it and only one dot appears.
"That's our spot..."
"Alright, I'll set a course to the place."
~
I stand on the deck of the Bounty, looking at the ground below us. Sighing, I fiddle with my fingers, trying to calm my nerves. What am I going to get if this is actually the place? Will all my problems be solved? Will I know who am I? Will I finally feel like... No. Stop thinking. You're going to make yourself have a panic attack. Just try to relax for now and hope for the best just like Jay.
A hand is placed on my shoulder as I quickly grab it and flip the person over onto the ground.
"Ow! I was just trying to comfort you! Geez!"
My eyes fall to the person, widening that it's Kai. "Kai?! Why would you do that?!"
He slowly gets up, sighing. "Look, Zane told me everything alright? I'm sorry. I'm starting to realize I'm more of an idiot than I initially thought... And I don't want to lose my relationship with you. I just hate seeing you fall apart like this..."
My eyes widen a bit. Did he... actually apologize? There's no way he... He did.
"Kai..."
"I'm genuinely sorry alright? I just... Let me help you. Let us help you."
"I..."
He did apologize which is a lot more than I expected from Kai... I guess I can. It's for the sake of Ninjago though since we can't exactly be fighting if we want to protect this place.
Looking away from him, I give him a response. "I... forgive you."
His eyes widen a bit before standing up. "...Thank you."
He walks over to me and gives me a tight hug. One that I've actually missed. This feels nice...
Kai walks over to where I am and we look over the balcony in comfortable silence. I lean on him as he hugs me.
~
The Bounty finally lands near the field as we get off the flying ship. My eyes widen seeing the beautiful array of colorful flowers. Familiar senses fill me as I slowly walk to it. "It's beautiful..."
"So this is the place you keep on seeing kid?" Cole asks.
"Yeah... It is."
"It really is beautiful. After this, we should pick some flowers to liven up the bounty," Nya says.
The five people chatter away behind me as I stare at the field. I stare at it intently, trying to figure it out. What exactly is this place?...
The sun starts shining softly onto the flowers, making them look like they're glowing. They feel like they are trying to call me to them.
