《«One Mind» (Ninjago x Reader)》18- Voyage & Darkness

Lloyd is looking for someone. The Ninjagos had gathered together inside one bounty. "Looking for someone, Lloyd?" Cole asks as he lands his hand on his shoulder.
Lloyd turns to Cole and shakes his head. "No, no one. I was-"
"Y/n is it?"
He's caught red-handed by his brother. "You can't lie to me." Cole said. "She's there." Cole pointed on the (h/c) girl. Lloyd looks at where Cole is pointing at.
"Go and say sorry." Cole ordered as he pushes Lloyd. Cole grins and proudly crosses his hand.
Lloyd gulps and walks to Y/n. He gotta admit that he's nervous. Nervous if she'll forgive him or not. Nervous since he grew into a teenager and doesn't know if she'll recognise her or not.
Now, he's standing infront of the girl. Y/n looks at the boy infront of her in confusement. "U-uhm, hi, Y/n." He stuttered.
Y/n raises her brow. "You're?"
It hits the boy that she doesn't recognise him. Well, since he has a grown up body, she won't know who is he of course. "It's me, Lloyd."
Y/n stays silent. She was confused and looks behind Lloyd. The four boys are watching them trying to have a "well" conversation. She shakes her head. "You're sick." She blurts out.
Lloyd shakes his head. "No, I'm Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon." He denies. Y/n's eyes widen. She looks at the boy infront of her. 'Grundal, is this your doing?' Y/n wonders in her tought.
Her grip tightens. "Look, I'm sorry for what I said to you before." He apologises.
Y/n crosses her hand. She doesn't answer him. She lets him speaks. "Will you forgive me?" Lloyd asked.
Y/n faces at the other side. Doesn't even bother to stare at him in the eyes. Silence fills them. Until Y/n speaks. "There's nothing wrong with us."
She walks away, leaving Lloyd alone, standing by himself.

As Y/n watches the ninjas left, she stands there. The sky is so blue and peaceful. The sound is filled by people being busy.
Why didn't she join them? Good question.
She doesn't want to. It has nothing to do with her. It'll only just weighed them down. But she does want to help. Y/n turns her head and walks to her mother's cabin. She knocks on the door a couple of time.
The door opens, revealing the woman. "Mom, can we talk?" Y/n asks softly. She doesn't know why, but she feels anxious.
"Sure, come in. I just prepared your favourite drink," she welcomes the young girl in. Y/n nods her head in appreciation and walks in.
The cabin isn't that big. It fits just for a mother and daughter. Aisah pats the couch, fixing the pillow. "Come, sit here," she says.
It's normal for her to be like this. It's the only way for Aisah to make up the time she lost. Y/n sits on the couch with the drink infront of her.
Aisah sits right beside Y/n. She's smiling. The smile that's so warm and welcoming. It makes Y/n feeling more down and anxious. "Mom, there's something I gotta say." Y/n stares at her mother lovingly but anxiously.
She holds her hand in hers. "Are you pregnant?"
. . .
"What?"
"Are you pregnant?" A slight of dissapointment in her voice. Y/n blinks and shakes her head. "No. I just wanted to say..."
She inhales the air. "I'm going back to that city."

A silence filled them. It's Aisah's turn to blink twice. "W-what? Why?" She clenches the grip of her hand.
Y/n sees this coming before. She has mustered up the courage to talk things out with her mother. The h/c gives a small reassuring smile. "I got things to do there."
"B-but, you'll die!" The older woman stutters frantically. Y/n can only smile. "I'm interwined with you. Your my mother. I have asked my blessings. Will you let me go there?" She speaks softly. More like a wishper.
Her voice held in so much love and caring. So much courage but anxious. Y/n waits patiently for the woman. She doesn't call her or anything to rush her. But she waits, waits like how her mother had waited for her for years.
"Okay, then." Her mother finally gives in. "But please be safe." Y/n nods her head.
"But I can't promise that." She wishpers underneath her breath. Y/n lands her forehead to her mother's and gives a loving smile.
"I love you, Mom."
The tears drop from her eyes. Y/n doesn't tell her to stop. She lets her cry. A feeling of touched yet worries fill inside Aisah. "I..love you too..." she gives a small kiss to Y/n's forehead.
She doesn't know if this is going to be a goodbye or not. But there's no turning back now.
***
Y/n sighs as she gathers all of the courage. Her leg steps out from the boat one by one. It takes a long time to arrived, but she made it fast.
Once her feet touch the ground, Y/n stiffles a small chuckle. A quiet chuckle. This is where she first opens her eyes.
Y/n walks in the forest with a heavy steps. It's time for her to help.
***
A giant blasting black liquids are blasted right to Ninjago. She's confused. Where do they come from? Did they fail?
Y/n hides in the bushes as she inspects the surroundings. The clouds turns dark like in some TV shows, supporting the scene. Y/n puts on the mask around her face and her hood on.
'This is suspicious.'
The purple fade aura surrounds her. Her grip clenches the grass tightly.
The archer helds the bow and the arrow. Her vision is now focused on the surroundings.
Taking in a deep breath...
Her e/c were now focused on the target. The bone looking hat. Hell, she doesn't know what it's called.
She pulls the string of the bow. How long has she not use this bow? The bow that had accompanied her along her journey with the ninjas.
'One...'
The main target stops their movement. 'Two...'
'Three.'
She releases the bow, letting the arrow strikes on the air. It flies until it hits the target.
But it doesn't hit the hat.
'Fudge.' She cursed in her mind.
"Masster, it issn't wisee to shoot him. It'ss his battle with hiss son ss." Willow has spoken. "You could've warned me just now."
The small snake snarls around her neck. "Forgive me Masster." Y/n raised her eyebrow in confusion.
"Ouch—"
She feels something cold that bites her hand. "Willow—"
"Forgive me."
Y/n sighs. Her eyes feel heavy once. She lays her body down and closes her eyes. "I'm feeling...sleepy..."
"Your ssoul will sleep for a while. You shall not interfer thiss father and sson battle. No matter how much you wanted to help, it shan't interverne by outssider."

All she sees is black. All black and plain. Pure black, with no colours.
But there's voices she hears. Such a lively and happy voice.
She wants to open her eyes, but she can't. It feels so heavy. Y/n wants to move her hand to her chest to feel the beating, but she can't.
She's unconcious.
Her soul is.
"Father, look!"
Y/n sees something. Something in her dream and not reality.
"Oh, what is it, my daughter?"
The little girl hops onto her father and clings her arms around his neck. "I can count now!" She exclaims. "Oh, that's great. Now, let's see you count. Hold up, I'll get Mother for this."
The little girl laughs as she and her father move along to find the woman. As soon as they found their mother, Y/n starts counting out loud with her father by her side.
Why? Why does it feel so heavy? Why does it feel so sad? Why does her heartache so bad?
What has she been yearning for?
"Where's Mother?"
She turns her gaze to see the same little girl asking curiously to her father. Her father could only forces a smile. It was obvious, but the naïve soul falls for it.
"She's busy," her father told her. "Busy with what?"
Her father raises his shoulders. "Probably cooking one of your favourite dinner!"
Y/n cheers at her father's lie.
"She must be doing the dirty work." Y/n mutters under her breath. But she goes back watching the daughter and father.
Soon, everything turns dark. She hears screaming. Screaming everywhere. Her eyes widen and she quickly runs to where the voice located.
A burning village.
Everyone is screaming. They're all running for their lives. "Father!" The small girl calls.
"Father!!" She screams. "Mother, where's Father?" Her mother can only stand there with a horrified look. Her home is burning.
Her beautiful and welcoming home now has vanished. Nothing is left in there. "Come on, let's go." Aisah pulls her tiny hands.
"What about Father? I'm not going until I get to see Father!" She yells to the older woman.
"GO!"
Y/n turns her head. She sees her father fighting with everything he could to stop this mess. He has run out of energy. Everything is a mess.
All the fire won't stop spreading. She wonders, just why has it come to this?
A sudden cold feeling lingers inside her body. "Stop.." she mutters weakly.
"Stop! I said STOP!"
Everything turns into ice. Y/n lets out a small gasp from her mouth as she watches her younger self. Things freeze in a blink. All of them turn cold and nothing is left.
"Stop.." Y/n mutters quietly. "L-let's go," her mother pulls her hand and runs away from the sight. "Do not look back honey. It's just a game, okay? Father will be back."
That's one of the most painful lies. But the little girl still believes in it. Oh, how much she wishes it'll be true.
This was her true form.
Y/n's legs couldn't feel anything anymore. Soon, she breaks down. "What the..."
Y/n turns her head as she sees the memory of her and her mother. The same memories she saw in her dreams. Y/n let out a small smile.
Though, they're still being a slave, they still could live happily. And that's all that matters now.
"So that's what you wanted?"
Y/n nods her head. She seems broken and tired. Nothing seems to be okay for her. Everything feels cold and dark. All that's left is her, standing right before Garmadon.
"Very well, then..I'll make you as my righ-hand person."
"Wait! You can't just leave me!"
Y/n turns her head to the other side. She finds her past self screaming for help from Garmadon.
"Farewell Y/n!"
The h/c feels the ground shaking. She shot a death glare to Garmadon. And the rest..
Was the time where she spent a few months almost a year with the ninjas.
The memories that full of laughter.
"Y/n!"
Y/n opens her eyes as soon as she hears the voice calling her. "Y/n, are you okay? You collapsed under these pieces!"
She recognises this voice. "L-Lloyd?" Her voice is very soft and quiet. Her hair is a mess. Y/n's eyes roll down. A bandage around his leg. He's shinning with gold.
"Lloyd!" She calls once more. She jumps right into his arms. "You're okay!" She exclaims. Her eyes feel warm. It's ready to flow down.
"You did it..." she muttered under her breath. "I'm sorry." She apologised. Soon a small tear drop down her face.
And another one. Lloyd wraps his arms around Y/n. "Welcome back, Y/n."
Soon, the tears turn into small sobs. The ninjas walk over to the two people. They join the hug.
It's so warm.
It feels so nice being able to hug.
Is this how it feels to be together with people?
She feels so warm. So cheerful. So happy. All the mysteries inside her are all solved.
"You were so cool you know! You beat up each and every guard standing your way!" Jay exclaims to Y/n.
They all release the hug. "Will you come back to us? It'll be great to have you back." Lloyd offers. But Y/n declines the offer.
"No, I think it's time for me to start on my own journey."
***
The night of Ninjago. Everything is now more modern. As the ninjas and Lloyd finally gather in one room together for the very first time after so long.
"You said that you invite one more person. Who is it?"
A smashing glass was heard from the other side as there a motorcycle rumbling. "Hope I'm not too late for the Oni Mask."
Her h/c flew right from the wind. "Y/n!"

"I don't know who you think you are coming here, and acting like you don't care about anything. Now listen here Princess, because I'm not going to repeat myself. Here's a couple of rules that I'd like to enlighten upon you. Number one, you do not talk back to me. And two, you don't mess with me or the rules," his breath fans my face and I close my eyes. The proximity between us was terrifying. "I've dealt with many bitches like you, so I suggest that you follow those rules unless you want to end up like them," - he leans in. His mouth lingers near my ear, "used."... "... You might think that you run this place, but you do not run me. Understand? And the sooner you understand that, the better it'll be for the both of us," I warn staring right into his eyes before walking away. I was more than amused by his dumbfounded expression. I stop, and turn back around, facing him, "And one piece of advice, know what you're fishing for before you start fishing. What if you find a shark and it reels you in, instead?"⇒Highest rank: 1 in Chicklit on 01.08.16
