《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 97: Awaiting

"Captured she has been?" Master Yoda asked. He sat with his legs crossed as he appeared on the Holocron. We were currently on our way to take her home, well, to the council.
"Yes, Master Yoda." Master Plo Koon replied. He decided to tag along, knowing he was the one who brought Ahsoka to the Jedi in the first place. He somewhat felt it was right to stand by her side as we turned her in.
"Without incident?" Yoda asked again.
"No, she was subdued by the clones and found in possession of explosive nano-droids," Plo replied.
I looked toward the back of the ship. She was still unconscious. That poor girl, she never had the time to explain.
"It still doesn't explain Ventress' involvement. We saw her with Ahsoka." Anakin sighed before continuing. "I think there's more going on than we know."
"By Ahsoka or against her," My Master replied. Even though I was no longer in the Order, I found it hard not to call him my Master. He will always be the person that trained me. Almost like a father figure, even in his most stubborn times.
"That remains to be seen. We're bringing her back to the temple." I chipped in.
"Let's just hope we can keep her here." Master Windu said as he immediately vanished afterward.
Keep her here? I stared at the ground, concentrating on what he could have meant. Looking again to my left to see Ahsoka still in cuffs, it was heartbreaking.
We were minutes away from the temple, where we were all dropped off. I, however, wasn't a part of the Order. I wasn't allowed in, in these circumstances, of course.
"Whatever happens, I will let you know everything," Anakin commented as he grabbed my hand, helping me out of the ship.
"Ani, now that I'm a part of the Senate, I could vouch for Ahsoka. If it comes down to it," I suggested it in a matter of seconds. That was the best part of being in the Senate. I had power in a sort of way.
"Yes, of course." He smiled back.
"Master Skywalker, it's time," Plo commanded as he began to walk the steps of the temple. I looked at Anakin one more time before parting away. Who knows how long it will take, but I was ready at any moment.

I sat around, waiting and waiting. No news from anyone. Until the slight knock on our apartment door was the only sound. Getting up quickly, I answered the door to see Padme.
"Padme, come on in." I smiled with joy. Only to hope she wasn't here to lecture me on my wild hiatus. "I told you to stay home," She turned around immediately after walking in. "Padme, you know I cannot do that," I closed the door slowly before emerging into this argument.
"What will happen if you get hurt? And they take you to a medical bay and then find out what we both know can destroy you." She folded her arms inward. "Destroy me? I thought the whole point of joining the Senate was so that I could be free." I furrowed my brows.
"I meant, destroy your reputation. When they ask who the father is? What will you tell them?" She asked. In that mere moment of silence, I had no answers. What could I possibly say?
"I'll tell them; it was some guy at the bar that I don't even know" My hand automatically placed itself on my forehead. The nerves and stress were hitting me with each passing moment and each question she asked.
"A guy from the bar? The Senate will disapprove and kick you off." Padme started to chatter some more. She walked back and forth, going on about how it would be a tragic ending if I continued to go on my missions.
"Y/n?"
"Y/n?" I disconnected myself as I found myself spacing out once more.
"Are you gonna answer that?" Padme pointed towards the small circular Holocron. "Oh yeah, I'll be right back." I quickly grabbed the Holocron, locking myself into my bedroom.
It was Anakin. It must have been news, but seeing the nature of his face, it wasn't good news. "What happened?" I asked, sitting myself down on the silk bed sheets. "They expelled her from the Order. She's awaiting trial now. Now is a good time to take your offer," he sighed. He was in a dark room; it seemed to be like a chamber room.
"I'll be there as quickly as I can," I turned off the Holocron and quickly picked up anything helpful I might need. Saber? Not needed. But ahh, yes, a lovely pretty headband. It's pathetic, but every senator must dress accordingly.

I rushed out back into the living room, heading to the deck of the house. "Where are you going?" Padme asked as she marched right behind me. "Well, Padme, I have some senate business I must attend since you know I am a senator now." I smiled sarcastically. It was enough to make her shut up. "Well then, good luck. 3PO, make sure she gets there safely." she softly shouted as she made her way back to the entrance of the door.
I rolled my eyes, getting onto my small silver Naboo cruise ship.

Landing, I was quickly greeted by my clones, who surprisingly appreciated my presence. "Master Amidala," they greeted as I walked by. It felt great to be still called Master.
I found myself in a dark closed location. It was cold and not in the best way comfortable.
"Y/n" I looked up, seeing Anakin was the one who called. He seemed to be in distress, but calmly he moved my way. "Follow me," he placed his hand elegantly behind my back, walking me towards Ahsoka's chambers, and when the doors slid open, she sat there looking broken.
It was the first time in what seemed like a long time; we had the opportunity to talk and finally find out everything that had happened.
"Ahsoka, Y/n has agreed to represent you before the Senate." Anakin started.
Her blue eyes locked onto mine. They were desperate, but oddly enough, relieved. "I will do everything I can to prove your innocence," I replied.
Ahsoka's face changed, her brows furrowed. She slightly bit her lower lip. "I'm almost certain that the person behind this is Ventress, and you both know I wasn't working with her. She was at the warehouse, in the room. We fought, but she got away." Her words were a bit scrambled, but she managed to chip in everything she could.
"Didn't the clones see anything?" She asked. Her eyes went back and forth between him and me. "No, none of the clones reported seeing Ventress at the scene," Anakin said in a low voice. He walked towards the barrier of the door. He was in his thoughts whenever he became silent.
"I thought you said Ventress left before you went into the warehouse." Anakin turned his back around, his hand on his chin just like his Master would always do. "I thought so too, but then she attacked me when I got inside. I'd know her red lightsabers anywhere." Ahsoka seethed.
"Well, if that's our only lead, then I know what I have to do," Anakin replied. He started his way towards the steps heading out of the room. "Wait, where are you going?" I asked. He didn't know where to start or even where she was. Not to mention, Ahsoka's trial was about to begin in a matter of minutes. She needed more than one person by her side; she needed her Master.
"You can't leave now," I added.
"Yes, I can." He turned around. Shocked at his response, I waited before blaring out my following response. "I have to find Ventress and get to the bottom of this." He added before leaving the room.
Well, I guess now is the time to be a senator.
I turned back around to face Ahsoka. "While Anakin is gone, let's take the time to work on your defense." I smiled weakly before sitting down next to her body. There was a moment of silence, but the tension quickly built up. "I know I haven't been a senator for that long, but I do remember a lot from my years of learning." I tried to lighten up the mood.
"Forgive me if I'm not optimistic. I thought I was part of that Order, but everyone except Anakin has abandoned me. I'm not holding out much hope the Senate will treat me any better." She commented. I felt her sadness in waves that came and didn't seem to end.
"I promise I won't let you down." it was the only thing I could say. The Order had many flaws. It was a shame; they held their values too high to let those they once called family down.
I couldn't precisely tell Ahsoka about my pregnancy, or at least for the moment. However, I knew she was a person worth trusting.

Anti-Hero: Journey of Fear
There is a story where the hero makes friends, completes quests, and saves the world. This is NOT that story. In the VR world of Fate: Experience Acute Realism, the main character cuts his way through both the players and NPCs alike. This story takes a close look at how a true full immersion VR would be played. The setting is an open VR world where the players struggle to survive with a lack of knowledge and the NPCs panic in regards to the Travelers invading their world. The anti-hero of this story is cold and calculating. Sparing no one from his reign of terror he gives into occasional bouts of kindness before he is forced back on the path of blood and tears. For where there is a hero who seeks to bring people together to help the world move forward, there is an anti-hero who brings people together to seize the world for himself. WARNING: This story contains extreme violence, in every single chapter. This story contains references to sex, but no explicit scenes. This story has light to mild swearing. My chapters normally range from 4,000 to 5,000 words. This story does not contain happy endings, middles, or even beginnings.

Saga of the Jewels VOLUME ONE COMPLETE
Prefer to listen to rather than read Saga of the Jewels? I'm also releasing it as a free audibook serial podcast on iTunes here! Epic YA JRPG-influenced GameLit progression ensemble-cast steampunk romance fantasy! When Ryn’s hometown is destroyed, will he be able to gather together the twelve Primeval Jewels in order to defeat the evil Emperor and save the world of Mid? A fan novelization of an amazing Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist, that currently releases at least one chapter a month. Epic in that this will be very long. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint!” (-Kandaj) YA in that this should be enjoyable to~13-year-olds and upwards. Some gore, some swearing, some sex, but nothing more than PG-13. JRPG-influenced / GameLit in that it uses lots of JRPG tropes, particularly from Final Fantasy. I’ve read a lot of fan Final Fantasy novelisations and you can basically think of this as a fan novelisation of its own Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist as a game... Progression in that the characters level up over time (though not with visible litrpg stat boxes). They grow in ability through training and experience, gain new skills, individually and as a party (think Chrono Trigger) and spend time discussing and stratgeising about how to defeat their opponents. Main protagonist from book three would definitely be able to defeat himself from book one! Ensemble-cast because we've got quite the roster of misfits here. The first volume is all from the main protagonist's POV, but it starts dancing between his and different POVs thereafter. Steampunk in that we’ve also got airships, steam trains, pistols and ambiguous ‘amber bars’ that function a bit like artificial lights… Romance in that there is lots of shipping here, a few love triangles, and you may be kept guessing as to who will actually end up together... Fantasy in that we’re in a vaguely pre-modern setting. We’ve got swords, magic, dragons, dungeons, monsters, all that good stuff. * "This story captures that Final Fantasy quality perfectly. Kiddy but also grim. The characters are great... Severely underrated and needs more favorites/follows. I look forward to seeing how this story will unfold." -Gilgamesh9999 "Starting at the end and jumping backwards is not a writing style seen every day. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but you've executed a fairly crazy idea very skillfully so far. Overall, a strong start to what could be a very strong story." -RandomFF.netUser "You definitely have my interest piqued. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes... It definitely has an 'old school Final Fantasy' type feel to it, which I appreciate...Good job! I am glad you are going into more details about the story you laid out in the prologue...of course the big burning question is 'You know they lose in the the first chapter, so how will they end up winning?' That of course, is the story you're writing...so we'll see how it goes! #Following." -KyleQuicksilver (quotes are from reviews on other sites) * If you enjoy it, don’t forget to boost Saga of the Jewels on topwebfiction.com!
