"Why?" My master intertwined his fingers together. He was curious as to why I retired the title of being a Jedi and instead held the Senator of Naboo. "Master, forgive me; I wish to pursue more than what the Jedi can offer. Being the Sen-" as I began to speak, my sister was right beside me, stepping a foot forward.
"Master Windu, the Queen of Naboo, including her people, wish to have Y/n as their new representative. And by means of the Jedi code, anyone can leave but retire any duties and benefits the Jedi have. On that note, Y/n is allowed to be Senator of Naboo, including keeping her lightsaber weapon." She took a deep breath after the end of her sentence. Wow, she has a way for her words, which also shocked the rest of the council members.
"Is this a decision that you want or one your sister has made for you?" Windu asked. His eyebrows raised in suspicion.
The matter of the truth, it wasn't something I wanted at all. But it was something I needed to do for my family. "This is something I want, Master Windu." I smiled weakly, giving off a fake smile. "Well, then, your place in the Order is officially over. We are pleased to have had you here, Y/n, and always a welcomed friend." Kenobi sat up from his chair, smiling as he came towards my body. "Thank you, Master Kenobi." I smiled back, and this time it wasn't fake.
"Ah, forgive me, Obi-Wan, may I speak to you in private?" I asked. I knew somehow Anakin would retrieve the news from someone, and it wasn't going to be easy for him. "Of course." His smile was still plastered onto his face, but quickly he grabbed onto the sides of my shoulders, turning my body towards the direction of the door.

Heading out into the circular hallway, he looked back at me, confused. "Obi-Wan, I ask that you keep this information away from Anakin.. and Ahsoka and of course Zander. They must not know until the time is right until I see them again. I know me leaving the Order won't be the best news they want to hear," I pleaded.
"Of course, I wish you well. Now I must go back," He smiled warmly. He took the news a bit too smoothly, but that's what I wanted.... Right?

"Alright, first we need to get rid of those ugly Jedi robes. They are so bland and boring." Padme walked into my room in a hurry walking straight into my closet. I had told her all about my secret home, and she wasn't so surprised. She had claimed she had seen the ends of my hair but had never overthought about it. Now that I think about it, I started to wonder how the hell Ahsoka came to walk in. "Padme, those robes have history." I sighed, and they did; years of wearing the same robe, there had bound to be some war scar on them.
"Please, these ugly things have a history? You'll look much better with the new wardrobe I had ordered for you." Padme grabbed one of my many duplicated robes, throwing them onto the bed. She seemed to be having way too much fun throwing them away.
I walked towards my now empty closet, and above the shelves held a small box. Standing on my tippy toes, I reached to grab the shoe-sized box; this will be perfect. Being Senator of Naboo hadn't crossed my mind until I reached for my lightsaber that was hung from my belt. The sudden drop in my heart once I had placed my hilt into the box was like the ending to a beginning.

"I know it's hard, but it's for the best, and remember you'll always have this, and it will always be a part of you." My sister walked alongside my shoulder, placing her hand onto my arm, cradling it.
"I know," I whispered, forcing a smile. I closed the box, placing it back onto the top shelf, sighing as I closed the closet door. "Okay, I left an outfit for you in the bathroom, and I'll take these to the dumpster, but I left one just in case you want to wear it somewhere." She rolled her eyes playfully. "Thank you." I chuckled softly.
Padme left the condo leaving with all my "history." Well, it seems the only thing left to do was try whatever Padme had in store. I wonder if it was a beautiful erotic dress or maybe for a change, some pants and a shirt. Whatever it was, I know Padme loves to go all out.
When I had opened the door to the bathroom, my eyes immediately fell onto the formed outfit. It was beautiful yet simple. Hmm, if this is what a Senator wears on an everyday occasion, this job might not seem as bad as I thought it would be. The top of the outfit was a purple vest made with brocade fabric and underneath that was a turquoise dress wrapped around with a belt.
Looking in the mirror, I looked like a whole different person. Even though there was another thing about me, I no longer felt like a Jedi, but now like a Senator. I looked to the side of the mirror, and yup, no bump yet; I was at least a month, so there was no big difference, but I knew in the weeks to come that would all change.
"You look amazing." I looked to my side quickly, and to my surprise, Padme was once again back. "That was fast," I answered, removing the hands that laid on my bottom stomach. "Didn't want to miss the fun, now let's do something about that hair." She smiled cheerfully.
"What's wrong with my hair?" I questioned. It was laid flat on my back; I thought I looked great, but apparently, Padme didn't think so. "Oh, I know, putting it up and using this band would look amazing." She cheered once more. I looked to the side of her shoulder, looking onto the bed, and there laid my new piles of clothes—all sorts of colors and patterns laid above the sheets. Oh man, she is going to have way too much fun with this.
