《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 55: Dark Deeds

A few weeks have gone by since the deadly virus. Anakin and I had finished preparing our plans for the wedding. We had decided whenever we had the chance to travel to Naboo; it would be the perfect place to tie the knot.
We were once again separated by the war and made our daily calls whenever we were both alone. It made up for the distance, but it definitely wasn't the same. He had been placed on a mission with Ahsoka and Obi-Wan. I, of course, wasn't a part of their trio, but he made sure to catch me up on the gossip.
He was on a mission to save the Felucia system. I always wished I was around, but Master Windu always assigned me to handle other businesses. It was always the boring ones or the ones that took place on Coruscant in the deep city. I didn't mind, though; I loved being home every second of the day. Not.
I loved being home whenever Anakin came over, and we usually ended up watching tv while we cuddled on the couch. We didn't have a huge house; we secretly bought it in hopes of living together after we got married. But usually, it consisted of me being home waiting to see him after missions.
"Y/n, I have an important task I'd like you to see forth." My Master said as his voice came from my intercom band. I laid on the couch watching the view of the city as the ships flew by.
"I'll be there as soon as I can," I replied. I sat up, stretching as I took my saber from the coffee table. I bet this "important mission" is not so important at all, but just another way for Master Windu to make me do something.
I hopped onto my speeder, heading straight to the Jedi Council. He was usually holed up in there beside Yoda and the rest of the members. The city was dark and busy as always, never a sound of rest.
I parked the speeder in the parking dock as I quickly made my way up the stairs, now entering the doors. As soon as they opened, my eyes laid upon Ahsoka and Anakin. Oh, now what have they gotten themselves into.

"You're here; we shall start." Master Windu said as all their eyes laid upon my body as I made my way to the center of the room. I stood beside Anakin as my eyes wandered as to why I was here so late at night.
"Padawan Ahsoka, do you feel Master Kenobi's description of the incident is accurate?" Master Windu asked. He sat in his usual spot as his arms rested on the armchairs.
Incident? What kind of adventure would have caused such movement with the council? I wondered as my eyes stared into the ground. Why was I even here in the first place?
"Yes, my Masters," Ahsoka replied. Her voice was low as a whisper. Her hands were placed behind her back as she slowly stepped forward.
"More to add, do you?" Master Yoda asked.
"I know I was wrong. I just got so caught up in my own success I didn't look at the whole battle as a whole. I was disobedient. I just... forgot." Ahsoka replied. She hung her head as there was a moment of silence in the room.
"Masters, this incident is my responsibility. Because of Ahsoka's advanced abilities, I forgot how young she is. I gave her more freedom than I should have." Anakin commented.
"That may be, but it doesn't excuse what happened on Felucia. I think she needs some time away from the battlefield." Master Windu implied. He had an attitude, but he has always been this way. He was always serious with the other Jedi and didn't take failure or mistakes very lightly.
"On archive security, reflect on your actions you can, Padawan. A teacher will follow you; Master Amidala will." Yoda said. My eyes shot wide open. I'm going to be a babysitter to Anakin's Padawan? This was precisely the stuff I wouldn't say I liked to do. I was always placed in things I never wanted to do. I didn't want to babysit Ahsoka. She was old enough to go on her own; now I have to watch over her.
"Guard Duty? For how long?" Ahsoka slightly shouted.

"Longer now." Master Windu replied. I looked at my Master, annoyed by the sudden decision. He didn't once think about what I wanted.

The way to the Jedi Archives was silent. I felt Ahsoka's presence as she felt mine. We both didn't want to be here, nor did she want me to babysit her.
Anakin stood beside me as we arrived at the terminal area. The room was dark, with only the ceiling lights making the room visible, and even then, it wasn't enough.
"Madame Jocasta Nu, this is Ahsoka Tano. She is to be your new security officer along with Master Amidala as she looks over Ahsoka." Anakin said as an old lady behind a counter stared with a confused face.
"Hello, Madame." Ahsoka spat out. She tried her best to be respectful, but by the hint in her voice, you could tell she hated every second.
"So good to meet you," Jocasta commented. She smiled widely, staring at Ahsoka.
Anakin took one breath before turning his whole body around, but halfway he stopped and whispered in my ear. "I'll be around." His mouth was so close to my ear that it made my neck tingle. I smiled weakly, not wanting to make a fool of myself.
"Let's take a tour." Jocasta cheered. She made her way around the counter and led the way to the massive bookshelves. I followed behind their steps, bored as she continued to ramble about how long the books have been around or their significance. I didn't care; all I wanted to do was go home or do something more interesting.
They rambled about the Jedi Holocrons and how forbidden and only to be read by the Jedi Council members. They were shut inside a small vault. I wondered what kind of stuff was on them and what secrets the Jedi were holding against the others. Maybe the ultimate power, but who knows.
Ahsoka and Jocasta continued their tour as I found myself leaving to view other parts. What kind of things would happen in this old library? Was a book missing? I scuffed when suddenly I felt two hands wrap around my mouth, dragging me back into a corner.
I bit the hands harshly and took them off of me as they groaned with pain. I turned around to face Anakin as he massaged his hand that I bit. "Oops." I nervously said as I itched the back of my neck. Ani rolled his eyes before he chuckled. "Well, that was interesting." he laughed, taking my face into his hands.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as his lips connected with mine. They were soft as usual and tasted like strawberries. "I just wanted to see you, but I got information about intruders." He said as his face backed away from mine.
His hands were still on my face but lowered themselves to my waist. "I doubt they've come to hijack starfighters," I joked, grabbing the back of his neck as I played with his curly hair.
"They are coming for information, Y/n." He whispered. He pushed my body slowly onto the bookshelves, his lips closing into mine again. I pulled his body closer to mine as his breathing became heavier. My legs became weaker, hearing the groans escaping his mouth. We had never taken things to a severe level, solely because we wanted to be married, but that didn't mean there wasn't any tension.
His lips moved to my neck, giving it kisses. I felt myself blush; he pulled away, smirking as he looked into my eyes. "Later tonight?" he asked. I nodded in agreement before pressing my lips against his again.
"Later tonight," I mumbled against them. He pulled away, leaving the area we were in. I stood in silence, touching my lips, taking in what had just happened. However, it didn't register until moments after when my eyes popped wide open. "Later tonight!?" I yelled, covering my mouth as quickly as I could.
