《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 39: The Hutts

"Trouble, you have, with your new Padawan, I hear." Master Yoda had finally arrived on Christophsis.
Ahsoka hung her head low, closing her eyes. "I was explaining the situation to Master Yoda," Obi-Wan spoke up; Anakin tilted his head confused. "Really?" Ani asked; he was surprised.
"If not ready for a Padawan, you are, then perhaps, Obi-Wan, we can-" Master Yoda began before Anakin's chimed in."No, wait a minute. I admit Ahsoka is a little rough around the edges. But with a great deal of training and patience, she might amount to something." Anakin said calmly; Ahsoka's face grew a wide smile.
Sometimes Anakin can be stubborn, but he knows right from wrong. He had faith in her, as do I. My eyes laid upon Anakins, and in that second, he smiled. "Then go with you, she will, to the Teth system. Y/n and Zander, follow, they will." Yoda said; he held his cane close to his chest, closing his eyes slightly.
"Teth? That's Wild Space. The droid army isn't even in that sector." I asked, confused, making Anakin and Ahsoka nod in agreement.
"Kidnapped, Jabba the Hutt's son has been." Master Yoda answered; he slowly turned away, facing his back towards us.
"You want us to rescue Jabba's son?" I asked, confused—our great next mission, interesting. I thought to myself why Yoda would want us to help the Hutt clan.
"Y/n, we'll need the Hutts' allegiance to give us an advantage over Dooku," Obi-Wan spoke; he crossed his arms as usual. "Hmmm. Negotiate the treaty with Jabba, Obi-Wan will. Find the renegades that hold Jabba's son; your mission will be Skywalker and Amidala." Master Yoda slowly turned back around, making eye contact with Anakin and me.
"Come on, Master, it doesn't sound that hard. I'll find Rex and get the troops organized. Come on, Ahsoka!" Zander shouted; he quickly grabbed Ahsoka's arm, pulling her away. The two Padawans ran off into the distance, running and chatting at the same time.

"Don't worry, Anakin. Just teach her everything I taught you, and she'll turn out fine." Obi-Wan chuckled, he held Anakin's shoulders. "You know, something makes me think this was your idea from the start." Anakin shoved Obi-Wan's hand off his shoulder.
"You'll be fine, Ani, now let's go before our Padawans run into trouble. "I teased, making Anakin's eyes roll.

Anakin chuckled; he slowly moved the strands of hair on my face tucking them on the sides of my ear. "You know, this mission will be complicated," I said, Anakin's hands grabbed the side of my waist. He pulled my body closer to his, smirking in an instance. "Nothing we can't handle," he whispered, his lips coming closer to mine.
Anakin and I were in the ship's closet, away from everyone else. Though it was risky, we took every opportunity we had to be alone. "You're confident, but that won't be enough," I said, making Ani roll his eyes before kissing me.
I smiled in between kisses; feeling close to him was so comforting. "I wish there were more days like this," I said, leaning back still in his grasp, playing with his curly brown hair. Anakin sighed, "There will be, after the war, it will be just you and I," Anakin said weakly, smiling. "I know," I said, kissing his lips once more.
His hands moved from my waist to the sides of my cheeks. "I want you to marry me," Anakin whispered, making me pull back instantly. "Marry you?" I asked, shocked. "I know-" Anakin began before I cut him off once more. "Yes. I mean, I will marry you, but ask me under better circumstances. "I laughed nervously. Ideally, I didn't want him to propose in a closet full of troop laundry and dirty rags.

He laughed and nodded in response. "Will do," Anakin said, going in for another kiss. "We should go. The Troops will be arriving soon." I said as we both pulled away.

"Lieutenant, did the kidnappers see you?" Anakin asked as we approached the troops getting off of their ships. "No sir. We're the best scouts in the regiment." The soldiers were wearing camouflage armor.
"What about the bounty hunters? Are they still down there?" I asked, making both their heads stare in my direction. "I don't think so. We haven't seen them in a while." The troop answered in response.
Anakin crossed his arms, "Well, what are we up against?" Ani asked. The trooper pulled out a holographic picture, showing a large Monastery. "Looks like at least two droid battalions protecting a monastery. It's heavily fortified, sir; you won't be able to land here." the troop pointed at the two droids before shutting the hologram off.
"Good work. Get some rest." Anakin ordered the troops, who bowed and moved on. Anakin moved toward a large group, R2 and I followed behind, just as curious as I was. When we approached, the troops were laughing.
"That sounds like a lot, even for a Jedi." One of the troops exclaimed, in the middle was young Padawan, Ahsoka Tano. "I heard droids surrounded you. How did you ever get that shield down that off? The other troops asked, amazed.
From the corner came out Zander, chatting with some troops. He was smiling and also telling his side of the story. I laughed, making R2 beep. "All right, men, we still have a job to do." Anakin interrupted the laughs and chatter, stepping into the middle of the circle.
"Yes, sir. You heard the General, move it!" Rex shouted, making the troops move out. Anakin and I approached a pleased Ahsoka. Her cheeks were a light pink, "would this be a good time to teach you that a Jedi is humble, my young Padawan?" Anakin playfully asked.
"Sorry, just trying to keep the boys inspired, is all," Ahsoka said, her voice was sweet, making it hard to be upset at her.
Zander approached, running in our direction. "Let's get going. The ship is loaded with all the supplies we need." Zander said excitingly. "Good job, Zander. Let's get going." I said, moving the small group onto the ship.

Please note: the Sexual Content tag is there due to a single brief plot-relevant scene, which has a warning at the beginning. For other details, read the full description below. Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 5 x 5*, 2 x 4.5*, 1 x 0.5* During a blackout, a frail and ragged old woman stops to ask for a glass of water from a backyard barbecue party. Given a good supper instead, she looks around the group, and tells them, "Be who and what you truly are." Days later, seven of the people from the barbecue find themselves drawn into a trap laid by a pair of wizards and their accomplices, who kidnap them into a bubble reality. All seven, who have known each other all their lives, are informed that they are not in fact entirely human: they have active fae blood, due to a series of conditions culminating with the blessing of the elderly fae woman. The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.
