《Forbidden Love || Anakin x Reader》Chapter 4: Promise

Anakin and I have not talked since our last departure. We both went our separate ways. He went to the Jedi, while I went to Padme, as always. I was stuck following her around to see what her day-to-day life is. I sat in front of the window, the sky was grey, and the smell of rain filled the room. "You seem bored," Padme says as she begins to fold her clothes, placing them in a suitcase.
"Well, I'd much rather be doing other things than being stuck in a room all day," I sighed. "Perhaps it will be more fun if you walked around this place," she says, a warm smile forming on her face. She placed her hand on my shoulder. Finally, something to do!
"I will take that up," I quickly got up from the couch and started to head my way out of the door. I never realized how enormous this place was; I didn't know where my first stop would be. "Confused?" Padme laughs and points to the right of the hallway that leads to an elevator.
"Maybe your first stop should be with the handmaidens. I'm sure you'll learn a lot from them," she chuckled, slightly pushing me out into the hallway. I sigh and finally move towards the elevator. I knew the handmaidens were two floors below us, so I might as well go there first.
When I arrived, the first thing I saw was Anakin. He was talking to a guard. He seemed happy and eager to get inside. "The boys here to see Padme." the guard says into his intercom. I rolled my eyes; Padme wasn't even there.
I walked over to the man and was greeted with a smile, "and who must you be? Here to see Padme as well?" he bent over, so his eyes were at the same level as mine. "No, actually, I am trying to get away from her," I rolled my eyes; his face grew in confusion. "I'm Padme's sister, y/n." His lips made an 'O'-shape before letting out a gasp.

Before he could say anything, the doors flew open, and out came Anakin. "Oh, hi y/n," he says and gives me a small hug. Uhhh.. one second, he ignores me, and the next, he hugs me??? "I got amazing news to tell you," he grabs my arm and pulls me aside.
"I'm on my way to the Jedi temple to start my training, I hope," he says, scratching the back of his head. "I was trying to find you; I thought you were with Padme." he quickly added, looking out the window. "Well, I'm glad you found me; I was starting to get bored without you," I say; I laugh to lighten the conversation. His face turns a slight pinkish color.
"As for your training, I hope it all goes well, Anakin. You're going to be a great Jedi, I know it." I say; he looks down towards his feet. "I'm sorry, have I made you sad?" he looked back up and shook his head. "No, you didn't. It's just- I wish my mother was here." he slid down the wall and sat on the floor. I followed his motion and sat down next to him. "One day, I will go back and save her," he looked at me, his face so determined and sad.
"She is in danger?" I ask; he nods his head. "Anakin, I know, I barely know anything about you, but-" I began but was quickly cut off. "Qui-Gon made a deal with Watto, who was my mother's and I owner. If I won a pod race, I would be free. The deal didn't include my mother. She stayed." he sighed, placing his face between his legs.
"I will be here for you, always," I placed my hand on his back, attempting to comfort him.

"As will I.," he says, pulling me into a hug. "When I become a Jedi, I will go back and save her," he says, pulling back. "I know you will," I said back.
"I promise, I won't fail you," he said, standing on his feet. He grabbed my hand, helping me up from the ground.
I knew the importance of a promise; it can either be broken or held. "Go on, the Jedi await you," I said; he gave me one last smile and turned to the elevator.

Creativity Can Fix Things
Meet Alex.Alex is like anyone, really, he just didn't know.He is an artist, a musician, tried to paint, every one of his friends knows him for his drawings. Meet truck.Truck is like every other truck, and everyone knows what a good truck does. It sends people to a new fantasy world. That or the author is just imagining this whole story and creating things out of his butt. Point being, trucks send people to alternate dimensions. The caveat is that Alex is creative, didn't fit into society like everyone else, but, as he would say, he is 'defective'.When he finally figured it out and was ready to fix his shit he had the most gruesome encounter with Mr. Truck. And now we are here, enjoy it. --- Looking for an editor!!! I'm writing this in an attempt to put a comedic feeling into something many people go trough: finding their place, fitting into society, adjusting to responsibilities and facing their problems. It's not really "WOW, HE MADE SOMETHING NEW!", but is more like "Heh, look at dumb ass doing shit... Oh... Hey, I do that too!" So feel free to read at your own risk. Don't know if it will be sporadic, regular or what. For now, it's a creative spur that needed a valve to release and. Here. We. Are.
8 65Ur Online
Wulfric Blackwell was his name, or at least the one he'd use this time. He really had no idea what his real name was. All of his memories had disappeared after an eternity in the Void, but the disembodied voice that called herself Eve said that's what he called himself in his last life on Ur before a technical error that sent him into that place where time and space meant nothing. If he wanted to remember who he was, then he'd have to play the game. Hopefully he didn't die again too soon. [LitRPG] + [Isekai]

So, first things first, this here is a magical girl thing. There are girls in it, they have magical abilities, fight supervillains (who have magical abilities, too, but in a more menacing way, like superpowers), and also do girly stuff. But it's not for children. Or at least not entirely. The idea is, it should be cute, but at the same time serious. Cute-serious, yeah… So, this is experimental for me. I'm planning to make short updates for as long as I can keep it up or until the plot resolves itself, whichever comes first. Most of all, I'm planning to not overthink or overedit things as much as I usually do, so there are bound to be mistakes and inconsistencies. I'll try my best to keep them to a minimum, though. But if you notice something, please feel free to tell me!

"It's just my family I guess." Tommy mumbled upset."What's wrong with your family?" Mr Awe asked, feeling confused. "I don't think it's what's wrong with them, I'm beginning to think it's what's wrong with me." Tommy answered, not looking up to meet his teacher's eyes. "What do you mean by that, Tommy?" The older asked, spinning around in his chair to show Tommy that he had his full attention and would be listened to. "It's just- like- I show them how well I'm doing in school and they don't even care! Like aren't parents meant to be proud of their children or something? That's what I hear but my dad is never proud of me! It's always 'Wilbur this' or 'Techno that' but it's never about Tommy! Am I not good enough for them or something?" Tommy blurted out before he could stop himself. It was like once he got one word out, the rest just came tumbling after. He had waited his whole life to get this off his chest and he had finally found a willing listener. OR, Tommy Craft is a neglected eleven year old who just wants somebody to listen to him. And he finds a few people while enjoying doing something he loves.
