《Out-Flirt Me - Anakin x Reader》Chapter 32- If You Say Yes

~Your POV~
"So," He asked, "Do you remember anything?"
"I remember what you've told me. I remember being there but it's foggy and everything else is."
"Well, that's a start." He said, trying to be happy.
You searched your mind for anything else, but you couldn't find it. You looked up to the man's face, there was something about him. The girls, you could tell we're good friends of yours. But him, there was something else.
"I'll be back, I have something else." He half-heartedly smirked and left the room.
The girls were about to follow him when you began,
"You're my padawan, Auren, right?" The girl that looked like you smiled, "and you're his padawan, Ashoka."
They both smiled and looked at each other, "Did you remember that?" Your padawan asked.
"Well the other man, the one with the beard, Obi-Wan told me your names. But I had a feeling."
"Good," They smiled and left the room.
You sat there trying to conjure up memories but it hurt. Now you had a headache but you kept on trying. A few minutes after he left, Anakin walked back in,
"Hey, so this is not exactly the best thing to share with everyone. But if it will help you remember, that's all that matters." He stepped toward you and handed you a folded letter.
"Don't worry I won't tell anyone."
"Great," He smiled down at you as you opened the letter, "You've already read this once I think. It's from a while ago, you had gotten captured by a Sith lord."
His voice was saddened and you could tell it brought him pain.
"What was I to you?" You asked before you read the letter.
His eyes widened before he smirked, "Well, I guess you should know that before you read this. You were my girlfriend, even though the Jedi code forbids attachments. That's why you can't share this with anyone."
"Oh," Your eyes widened as well as you stared down at the paper.
You began to read it, he kept on apologizing. Saying it was his fault. You may not remember much, but you remember it wasn't his fault. He looked for you day and night and sent his friends, your friends to search for you.
Padme, Padme Amidala. An image flashed into your mind, a woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She was kind, smart, and like a sister to you.
Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You could see a picture of him too and even though you had already seen him. It wasn't that. You were laughing together, you were younger. He was quick, witty, and he was like an older brother to you.
The letter went on, apologizing for Anakin's mistakes. He didn't believe he should be a master. He believed he failed you and in the last paragraph, he explained. You meant the world to him and he meant the work to you.
Anakin, Anakin Skywalker, the image of him was in soft lighting when it was just the two of you. He smiled and his smile was beautiful. He was impulsive, supportive, and protective. He was your home, your whole galaxy. The thought of you not knowing him drove pain into your heart, your very being.
"Anakin," You whispered and he looked up from where he had sat down, "I love you. I have since those days on Naboo and I've known you since Qui-Gons death. You were always there for me, we were always together."
Tears formed in his eyes as you remembered. They pooled in your eyes as well,

"I remember them, I remember Padme and Obi-Wan and Auren and Ashoka. I remember Satine and Bo-Katan. I remember all the masters here that helped me, my Master Kio, Master Kit Fitso, and Master Plo Koon."
You smiled up and him and threw your legs off the side of the bed. You were now in a hospital gown but anyway you threw your arms around your boyfriend. He held you tightly, not letting go as he cried on your shoulder. You cried on his as you said,
"It wasn't your fault, I never blamed you."
He heard you and nodded but didn't verbally respond. He just held you close and you were happy with that.
Eventually, the sniffles stopped and the crying sufficed so you pulled back. You stared at his face, stained red from tears, and held his head in your palms.
"I hope you know that I would sacrifice myself for you a million times over."
He smiled, "And I would do the same for you. I love you, Y/n, I've loved you since we were kids."
"I remember," You chuckled as you placed your foreheads together.
This was why you sacrificed yourself, he deserved to live. He was the chosen one and he would overcome your death if it meant he could destroy the Sith.
You backed up and smiled as you sensed your padawans coming. They opened the door slowly but once they saw you and Anakin, they froze. You must've looked like two messes with tear-stained faces and you in a hospital gown.
"Master?" Auren asked from the door.
You turned and smiled, "Yeah, it's me, I remember."
Her eyes got huge along with Ashoka's as they ran towards you. Auren wrapped her arms tightly around your torso and Ashoka wrapped her arms around the two of you. You rested the side of your head on top of Auren's as you heard them sniffling.
"I'm back, everything's fine now." You whispered and they slowly pulled away.
Ashoka shook her head and smiled, "Don't ever do that again."
"I won't, I promise."
"I think someone's here to see you," Auren said with a smirk.
"Really? Who?"
"You'll see."
"Wow Sparks, withholding information from your Master." You ruffled her hair as she chuckled, "I don't know what to do with you."
The door opened and you looked up, Obi-Wan and Satine stood at the door. Satine stared at you with tears in her eyes, there were still bandages across your arms, face, and legs. You smiled and Obi-Wan looked confused.
"Y/n?"
"It's me, I remember everything."
They had walked toward you and you filled the gap by running to Obi-Wan. You hugged him tightly and he was surprised. Then he hugged you back. A few seconds later he pulled back and held your head with one hand.
"I'm glad to have you back."
"Me too." You smiled before walking over and hugging Satine.
She was also surprised but when you rested your head on her shoulder she did the same. She wrapped her arms around you and held you.
"We can finally talk, little Asa."
"Yeah, we can."
You pulled back and smiled at her before walking back to where you used to be. You pushed your IV stand back in place after you had pulled it around.
"We brought you some things to help you remember, but it seems you don't need that." Obi-Wan chuckled.
"Ooh, what did you bring me?"
"Some things from your childhood," Satine started as Obi-Wan took out some trinkets from his pockets, "You used to play with Bo in the garden and you would play with these little speeders."

Obi-Wan held out a couple of very tiny speeders and you took one of them.
"Of course, they weren't for playing and the place guard thought someone stole them. But once they found out it was you, they let you keep them."
You traced your fingers around the yellow speeder's round edges and sat down. You remember it, you remember playing with Bo in the garden, you loved it there. The forest green trees were perfectly trimmed into squares and the flowers were contained in beds.
"I remember, I remember Mandalore."
"You do?" Satine asked quickly after you said that.
You smiled up at her, "I remember the gardens and playing tricks on the guards. I remember running with Bo in the town square when I was too young to do lessons."
She smiled at you and so did everyone else in the room.
"So you remember things from when you were three?"
"It's weird, but it's like the force is telling me it. Rather than me remembering it from my memories."
She just stayed silent, she didn't know much about the force. Yes, she loved a Jedi, now two Jedi. Still, she had much to learn.
She asked after a moment of silence, "Do you remember being taken?"
"Yeah," You looked down at the floor, "That's the first thing I remembered. Back when Bo first told me."
"That's a great thing to start with," Auren muttered to Ashoka and she laughed.
"Someone took me and I never knew who, but a Jedi fought them off. They sensed my pain through the force and came for me. It was Master Plo Koon, he brought me to the temple."
"I'm glad someone found you."
You smiled at her but something was troubling about that memory. Something was off, yet no one knew but you.
Satine looked at the clock on the wall, "I should get back to work."
"Oh, okay."
"We'll meet again while I'm here, don't worry."
She walked out the door and Obi-Wan walked her down the hall. Auren was sitting down and staring at you, looking at Anakin and then back at you every few seconds. Anakin also noticed it and looked at you,
What is she doing?
No clue.
You looked at Auren and asked,
Whatcha doing, Sparks?
Oh, nothing.
You sure?
Raising your eyebrows, you looked into her eyes.
You know I could read your mind and find out.
You wouldn't.
She squinted and you mimicked her.
I would, ask Anakin I've done it to him.
She smirked but it turned into a whole smile quickly.
What?
Are you and Skyguy...
Your eyes went wide and you quickly cut her off.
No, no, we're just friends.
Mhmm, sure. You seem to be getting a little red there.
Rolling your eyes, you smiled at your padawan. She knew too much and you looked away. Ashoka was looking at you and Auren with a confused expression. Anakin did the same and it was funny how similar they looked. Both of their heads were cocked the slightest amount to the side. Both of them were leaning against the wall with their arms crossed.
She knows.
What?
Anakins eyes went wide, he knew exactly what you were talking about.
How could she? How would-
I don't know but I don't think Ashoka knows. Just Auren, but I doubt they keep secrets.
Anakin shook his head and pushed himself off the wall,
"Don't you two have somewhere to be?" He asked the girls.
"I mean not necessarily," Auren said, "Right now they're trying to see what happened to the Council building and if it's connected to the lights."
"Oh right, do they know anything yet?" You asked turning back to her.
"They think it was just a regular speeder crash, racing or something."
"Well that's better than the alternative."
"Yeah we don't want someone attacking the Jedi Temple." Anakin chuckled.
You laughed along, "Thats crazy Anakin, who would attack the temple? A bad Jedi?"
"Youre right, that's crazy." Ashoka said as she began to walk out the door.
Auren followed her and you stood up but Anakin glared at you.
"What?"
"Are you actually supposed to be up?" He said while walking over to you.
"Well, the droids didn't say I couldn't."
While you rubbed the back of your neck, Anakin shook his head and pushed your shoulders down. Now that you were seated, he smirked.
"Don't worry, I'll be back."
"You better be." You slumped down.
He chuckled and left the room and you could hear him say,
"C'mon girls, let's go find you something to do."
They groaned and he laughed as their voices faded. You smiled to yourself as you lay down in the hospital bed. Reaching up to your face, you touched the small bandages all over your face. They hurt to the touch so you stopped. Now you were content, you remember everything and most importantly you remembered Anakin. But something was bothering you, the memory from Mandalore.
Shouldn't I remember who took me from my family?
You asked yourself as you paced your hands behind your head. Something was off about the person who took you. The tall person was blurred out of your memory. They grabbed you from behind and dragged you away. Then you were knocked unconscious and woke up to a fight.
The fight was blurry too as if someone or something didn't want you to see it. Eventually, Plo Koon walked towards you, who had now backed up into a wall. He reached out to you and said,
"You're safe now, kiddo."
You felt as if you could trust him and you took his hand. He led you back to his ship where you waited for him to finish up his mission. You had fallen asleep and woken up on Coruscant. He took your hand again and walked you into the Jedi temple. He brought you before the council and they took you in quickly.
Then Master Yoda talked to you alone and you were sure this was your new home. As if you had forgotten about Mandalore and your family. It was weird, everything about this memory was weird.
The door opened again and you sat up. You were expecting Anakin to be back, but he smirked and stepped aside. Padme stood in the door with a worried expression. That was until she saw you standing up off the bed. She smiled as you ran toward her and hugged her tightly.
"Y/n, I was so worried I-"
"Padme, you were the one in the building. I should be asked you how you are."
You pulled back but rested your hands on her shoulders. She looked perfectly fine and you tilted your head to the side.
"I was on the lower floors, I was escorted quickly enough to see you run in."
"Oh-"
"You were determined," She chuckled, knowing exactly what you did it for, "and I was there long enough to see you carried out." Her voice dropped and she looked at the ground, "but they were trying to clear the area, so I had to leave before I could see you."
"It's alright, I didn't wake up for a while."
"Yeah, Anakin told me. He said they thought you were going to be in a coma for much longer. Then when you woke up, you didn't remember anything."
"But I remember now, that's what matters."
She smiled and you let go of her shoulders, letting her walk into the room. As you went to go sit back on your bed, Anakin smiled at you. An actual, genuine smile and you were surprised but delighted. When he saw you see his smile, his eyes got wide and then he smirked.
You shook your head and sat on the bed as Padme sat down in a chair. Anakin just leaned on the wall again and crossed his arms.
"So what are they saying about the crash and power outage?" You asked.
"Well, they aren't telling us much yet but they think it's an accident still. They believe that two speeders were racing and one crashed into the building. The other one got away but the power went out through the Senate building. See, there's a large power generator in the Senate building that powers the nearby buildings. One of those is the Jedi Temple, they quickly switched to another source and got their power back on but the Senate is still destroyed."
You chuckled, "So much for not telling you a lot."
She shook her head, "I think they still have secrets. The Chancellor seems oddly at peace with the fact that it was just a speeder crash. He never really investigated any other ideas even though it was directly in his office."
"That is a little weird."
Anakin finally chimney in with, "Could it be that he wants to focus on the war at hand and not an attack?"
"That's probably what it is, but don't you think he would be the slightest mad if you were in there too?"
Anakin shrugged, "Yeah, he's normally very protective of me."
You chuckled and Anakin looked at you.
"Nothing, it's just the Chancellor is protective over a Jedi Knight."
Anakin shook his head and smirked.
"Padme, how was work before the whole incident?" You asked.
"It was pretty normal except for Death Watch trying to get our attention again."
"What do they want?"
"We don't know, they just keep on attacking small places that don't have any pattern whatsoever."
"Weird," You looked at Anakin and you made eye candy intact before you looked away.
"How was fighting in the war?"
"For some people," You looked at Anakin with a smile, "it's easy to adjust to the fighting. But I'm not used to it, I've never been much of a fighter."
"Really?"
"No, really I hate fighting. I've always hated the lightsaber tests and duels."
"But she passed them nonetheless," Anakin said.
"What did you like?" Padme asked.
"They have force tests, well kind of. You sit in a room and they put things behind you. Videos play on holograms without noise, Masters have to walk in shapes. You have to sense what's going on behind you and it takes patience."
Padme nodded while taking in the information. Auren and Ashoka would be taking these tests soon. It starts when you're 15 and lasts as long as they want it to with a test every few months. This may be much different with the war though.
"I'm guessing you didn't like those," She looked over to Anakin who shook his head dramatically.
"I hated those, you just sat there for an hour while things happened and you had your eyes closed."
Padme and you chuckled at his hatred for anything slow,
"You passed, most of them."
"I only failed a few, mainly when Obi-Wan kept telling me to focus beforehand and I wasn't thinking of the test."
"Whta we're you thinking of?" Padme smirked.
"Well," He rubbed the back of his neck, "A lot."
He had made eye contact with you a few times, diverting his eyes every time it happened. Padme chuckled, she knew exactly what he was thinking about. Then she looked at the clock on the wall, 8:03 pm.
"I should probably get going, you should get a lot of rest."
"Ugh, I know," You stood up with Padme and hugged her, "Visit again soon, alright?"
"Alright," She pulled back and looked at you, "I'll see you soon."
She walked out and Anakin had come next to you.
"You know, Auren knows because you act like that." You said turning to him.
"What? What did I act like?"
"Oh I don't know Mr. I was thinking of something else, let me make eye contact with my girlfriend while rubbing my neck."
"Girlfriend? You mean fiance, if you say yes."
Anakin got down on one knee and held a ring in his hand. You stared at his smile and your heart melted.
"Of course I say yes," He jumped up and hugged you, spinning you around in a circle.
You kissed him on the cheek right before he set you down. He placed the ring on your finger and then put his hands on your face. Pulling you in, he kissed you softly which made your thoughts float away and your heart flutter. You pulled away and looked up at him,
"When did you have time to get the ring?" You asked as you brought up your hand.
"Oh, that. I've been carrying it around for a month."
"Anakin!" You chuckled and leaned on his chest as he wrapped his arms around you, "Even in battle?"
"If course."
You chuckled from your safe spot, in Anakins arms.
