"I see, but I remember when the Jedi did not fight as much. They were peacekeepers, not Generals." Stone commented while taking a sip of her drink.
Anakin responded from his pillow, "We fight for peace."
"Oh," Satine laughed, "but that contradicts itself. You cannot fight and say it brings peace."
The conversation continued with Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Satine. You were in your head, stuck on thoughts of your family, both of them. You kept trying to remember more, like your parents or anything but the events leading up to the bomb. All you wanted was to remember something.
"The Jedi are protecting the citizens of the Republic," Obi-Wan argued to one of Satine's points.
"Don't the Jedi take young children from their families?" Satine asked while looking at you.
You finally gave your input to the conversation, "They give a home to those who need it and train children to protect themselves."
Satine and you made deep eye contact and you could feel her emotions. Confusion, pain, relief. She felt ever so deeply that you could tell what everything was. She was confused by your appearance here. She was pained by the memory of both you and Obi-Wan. Overall, she was relieved to see you alive.
"They may but who else do they hurt by their ways? Who do they hurt on their path to defeating the separatists?"
Obi-Wan took over for you when you didn't respond, "You're right, we do hurt others. But we don't try to, not like the Separatists and Sith do. If we can stop them, we can stop the terror they invoke."
Satine was about to respond when a senator stepped in between the two of you.
"I think you have both proven the point that there are two sides to every dilemma," He said as you all stood up. "Now to the vote."
"We need to stop this chaos and get back to order." The Duchess quickly said.
Obi-Wan sighed, "The Republic defenses are the only sure way to protect you all from the Separatists."
Satin stood up, "Even extremists can be reasoned with."
They walked toward each other, both with their tall shoulders and attitudes.
"Perhaps, if one can be heard over the clanking of their battle droids."
"Ah, the sarcasm of the soldier."
They were close now,
"The delusion of a dreamer."
They were inches away from each other.
"Duchess, Master Jedi, it's been a long trip. I think we could all use a little rest and refreshment."
Drinks came around to you and Anakin, he took one for each of you. Then a smaller tray with two cups of juice on it came to Ashoka and Auren who had stayed respectfully quiet. Anakin handed you your drink and smirked at Obi-Wan and Satine.
"Now let us put politics aside until after dinner," The senator spoke again.
Obi-Wan and Satine continued to look at each other before saying angrily, "Fine!" in unison.
Satine strutted past Obi-Wan as he stood there. You, Anakin, and the girls stepped out of the way so she could leave. She made eye contact with you for a second before turning back to the door.
Well, that was interesting.
You thought to Anakin who just nodded. Obi-Wan walked out the door a few steps after her. So you all followed. Even though you all knew about Obi-Wans history with Satine, Anakin asked,
"So you and Satine have a history?"
"An extended mission when I was younger. Master Qui-Gon and I spent a year on Mandalore protecting the Duchess from insurgents who had threatened her world." Obi-Wan explained as the girls chatted quietly behind you all. "We were always on the run, living hand-to-mouth. Never sure what the next day would bring."

"Sounds romantic," Anakin joked as you stepped into an elevator and Obi-Wan glared at him.
The ride was short and Obi-Wan stepped off first, "A civil war killed many of Satine's people hence her aversion to violence. When she returned, she took on the difficult task of rebuilding her world alone."
"You didn't stay to help her?" You asked.
The girls' eyes were caught on someone standing with a tray of food and they looked at you. You nodded and they ran off to the man.
"That would have been problematic." Obi-Wan walked into one of the fancy rooms and you followed.
Obi-Wan sat down in a chair while you and Anakin stood by the door.
"But it's obvious you had feelings for her. Surely that would've affected your decision."
You looked at Anakin, begging him to keep your secret.
"Oh, it did," Obi-Wan didn't realize Anakin's first-hand experience, "I live by the Jedi code."
"Of course, as Master Yoda says, "a Jedi must not form attachments," You said.
"Yes, but he usually leaves out the undercurrent of remorse."
When you were about to ask, his comm went off.
"Yes, captain?" He asked.
"General, somethings wrong with Skywalker's astromech. Scared him real good, sir. I've lost contact with two of my men."
"I'm on my way down to assist you."
"I'll go, Master," Anakin came off the wall, "If there's something dangerous down there, the clones and I can handle it."
Analog walked out, leaving you with Obi-Wan. He shook his head before also walking out the door.
"We need to tell the Duchess about the situation." He said as he walked.
"Is that the best course of action?"
"If she thinks we're keeping secrets from her. Who knows what may happen?" You agreed with him and continued to walk with him to the dining room. He walked inside and stood at the end of the table while you waited by the door, "I beg your pardon Senators. We are experiencing a bit of a situation below. I urge you all to stay here until it's clear."
"What's the situation, Master Jedi?" Satine asked with venom.
"Oh, nothing that won't be under our control."
"Then do come to sit down, the both of you." Another Senator said and you walked over to an empty seat.
Obi-Wan sat next to you while Satine's eyes drifted between the two of you. When Satine looked at you Obi-Wan looked at you as well. He was suspicious so you looked at your plate, which didn't help your case but oh well. Conversations came from senators about democracy and peace as you just ate silently.
Your wrist buzzed and you stood up, "Please excuse me."
Obi-Wan looked at you with a questioning look and you nodded confirming that it was Anakin. Satine eyes burned holes in your back as you walked out of the room.
"What's wrong, Anakin?"
"Well, we found a box and the contents are missing. Plus we have two men unaccounted for."
"That's not good, what's your plan?"
"We don't have one yet."
"I think you should get one and keep things quiet, I'll stay with Obi-Wan and the Senators."
"Got it, bye," He said turning off his comm as you did the same.
"I'm sorry about that," You entered the room again and sat back in your seat.
Obi-Wan looked at you while you looked at your plate.
They found an empty box with everything missing. Also, they haven't found those men yet.

What are they going to do?
I told him to keep it down and get a plan soon.
That wouldn't be very Anakin of him.
I'm hoping he doesn't get too Anakin.
You silently chuckled as you continued to eat. The food was great, actually, even though it looked weird. That's when you sensed something going on with Anakin. Something was very wrong. You looked up at Obi-Wan, who didn't notice anything and you raised your eyebrows. At first, he didn't get it so you brushed your hair from your face twice.
It meant, "In trouble." and Obi-Wan knew exactly who you were talking about.
Then your comm went off and you answered it as you stood up, "Y/n, there's assassin probes down here. One made it up the elevator, I try to hold the others here."
"Quickly, secure the lifts!" Obi-Wan said from next to you. He turned on his saber and ran out of the room, "Y/n, stay with the senators!"
You had stepped toward him but turned around when he was gone, "Don't worry, I'm sure Anakin and-" You stopped talking when Obi-Wan was pushed into the room by the large probe.
You ignited your saber as you turned around and backflipped onto the table. The droid came at you and as you jumped you cut all but one of its legs off and it crashed into the table. You landed behind it, while Obi-Wan had gotten in front and stabbed it through the eye.
Obi-Wan turned to the Senators and an unimpressed Satine while you force-lifted it off the table. As soon as it landed small baby spider-like-droids began to crawl out of the top.
"Oh great," You said while running over next to Obi-Wan.
You sliced the ones that came near you but there were so many of them. You backed up and the Senators ran behind you. Then Staine pulled out a gun and shot a whole wave of them. Obi-Wan smirked at her and they went back to back, deflecting spiders. You smiled as you stayed away, getting smaller groups of spiders who chose different routes.
"Do you always carry a deactivator?" You heard Obi-Wan ask.
"Just because I'm a pacifist doesn't mean I won't defend myself."
"Now you sound like a Jedi."
You sliced the last one before going to help a senator up. You helped three people and a droid and the rest of them stood up b themselves. Turning to Obi-Wan, he went to pick one of the intact spiders up.
"Just like that swarm of venom-mites on Draboon, remember?"
"How could I forget? I still have the scar."
You stayed back while they talked, "Begging your pardon, Duchess. I distinctly remember carrying you to safety."
"I meant the scar I got after you fell and dropped me."
You chuckled to yourself in the corner.
"Oh. Yes." Obi-Wans voice was so much sadder.
The Duchess walked into one of the other dining rooms observing the mess. While you and Obi-Wan stayed here to help clean up. You picked up some of the spider droids that were mostly intact and then went to another room to find some more. Satine was staring at an untouched painting on the wall.
You began to back out of the room to give her some privacy when she said, "Wait." You froze, "is it really you, Y/n?"
She turned around and you looked into her bright blue eyes, "Yeah, it's me."
"I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever see you again."
"Bo-Katan found me, she told me we were all family."
"Did she now?" Satine chuckled and you had grown closer.
"Yeah, she told me you were nice and that I would like you when I met you."
"Oh, well that's nice of her."
"I take it you two don't have the closest relationship?"
"No, it's really not much of a relationship at all. I am glad she told you about us though."
"So am I, although I was a bit shocked at first."
It seemed so says to talk to Satine, as if the words just flew out of your mouth.
"I can imagine, that's a lot to take in." She paused and examined you for a second, "I see that you've found a little family of your own."
"Well, they kind of found me."
"And you're close with Obi-Wan?"
"Yeah, he's like an older brother to me."
"And the other man, I take it he's no brother."
"Anakin? Umm, well..." You rubbed the back of your neck and she laughed.
"I assume correctly then."
"How could you tell?"
"It's obvious really. Every time he looked at you he had that glint in his eyes. He only called you, not his former Master and most importantly you blushed when I asked."
"It's kind of a secret, it's not supposed to be obvious."
"Ah, the Jedi code, I know all about that. Don't worry, your secret's safe with me."
"And yours with me."
"Beg pardon?"
"Well, it's not much of a secret you and Obi-Wan. We all know."
Her pale skin turned pink around her cheeks as she diverted her gentle eyes to the floor.
"I think the council is oblivious though, or they just don't care."
"Nothing is going on, I can promise you that."
You could feel her lie, but that wasn't your argument here.
"Alright."
Now you could sense Anakin's presence in the other room and you instinctively turned to the door.
"Is he in there?"
"Anakin?" She nodded, "Yeah."
"Go see him, I'll be over in a minute."
"Thanks," You jogged out the door and saw Anakin standing at the main door to the dining rooms.
Politely, you walked over to him while smiling and he smirked at you.
"One of our four distinguished senators appears to be a traitor." He said as you stood next to him.
Obi-Wan responded, "I sense it too."
A little spider droid wandered around the room, "I thought we got all of those," You sighed.
"Oh, one of our little friends survived," Obi-Wan chuckled, "I have a plan to out the mole. Return to the haul of the ship and destroy the last assassin droids. Y/n and I will find the traitor."
Anakin began to walk out of the room as Satine walked in. He winked at you and you said, "I'll be right back."
You walked out of the room with Anakin and once you were a few steps away from the door he asked, "So, how are things with your sister."
"I actually met her."
"You did? How did it go?"
"Good, I told her about Bo and she knows about you."
"What? Like you and me? Like together?"
"Yeah, she guessed."
"You seem unusually calm about that."
"Well, she said she won't tell anyone."
"Alright then."
"Okay, I should go back." You stopped walking but he pulled you into a hallway by your arm.
He took his voice down a little bit while he stared into your eyes, "I love you."
"I love you too," You smiled and stood on your toes to kiss his lips for a second. Then you pulled away and walked back to the dining room.
The room had been cleaned up and all the Senators were sitting down at the clean table. There was more food on the table and everyone added things to their plate, everyone but Satine. When you stood lost at the front of the table, Satine tilted her head to a doorway and you nodded. Walking in, you saw Obi-Wan standing with a cage and something draped across it.
"Obi-Wan? What are you doing?" You asked as you walked over to him.
He turned to you, smiling with the cage in hand, "Oh Y/n, there you are. I'll fill you in on the plan as it goes." He began to walk out of the room so you just followed.
When he entered the room one of the senators said, "Ahha! Dessert!"
"This morsel might prove too much even for the legendary appetite of Orn Free Taa."
You knew the story but Obi-Wan was confusing you with the box.
"Enjoy." He said as he unveiled it.
A spider droid bounced at the edges of the cage, begging to be set free.
"On second thought, it wouldn't agree with me."
"My theory is that our little friend will attack the Duchess and anyone who defends her. Anyone that is, except the traitor that programmed it."
A senator whined but Obi-Wan's plan made perfect sense.
"Obi-Wan, this line of questioning borders torture!" Satine stood up and put her hands on the table.
Obi-Wan began to walk around the table with the droid, "Oh I assure you, Duchess, all is under our control."
The droid tried to jump at everyone he walked by. You were walking on the other side of the table in case anyone decided to make a run for it. He walked behind Satine and to the other side while you swapped sides.
"It seems to like you, Senator Merrik. Well, Prince?"
"Really, General Kenobi, you're quite clever!"
The senator jumped up and knocked the droid from Obi-Wans hands. You turned and used the force to keep the droid in place as its container hit the floor. Then you grabbed its container with your hand and the lid while still floating the spider. When it was contained you looked back to the ruckus being caused.
Obi-Wan had run over to you to try and help with the spider. When Prince Traitor grabbed ahold of your sister.
"You're coming with me," He said, putting a gun to her head.
He ran out with her in his chokehold and Obi-Wan followed first as you killed the spider with your saber. As you run out the door, you called Anakin.
"Anakin, Senator Merrik is the traitor and he's taken Satine somewhere."
He whispered in response, "Copy that, but I don't think I can help right now. We've got a bit of a problem down here."
You hung up and continued to run. There were lots of intersections and you had to use the force to feel where to go. You didn't know the ship well and were probably lost. Anyway, you kept running.
Auren and Ashoka were walking in the hallway with a plate of some kind of food. You saw them and yelled,
"Auren, Ashoka!"
They turned around with their mouths stuffed, oblivious to the situation at hand. When they saw you running their eyes widened as they thought they were in trouble.
"Satine's been taken by a traitor, Senator Merrik. They're somewhere on the ship and I want you to look for them. But if you find them, don't engage in any sort of fight."
They nodded and ran off through a hallway placing the plate of food on a table with flowers. You ran for a couple more minutes before the lights went out and loud crashes sounded throughout the ship. Yet, you could see light ahead and you ran to that.
"I'll take care of this, you go find your girlfriend." You heard Anakin say from around the corner.
"Alright... Wait Anakin, she's not my-" Obi-Wan sighed and ran off as you came running toward Anakin.
You ran over to Anakin from a side hallway and faced the drouds ahead.
You sighed, "How'd this happen?"
"No clue," Anakin said, pulling out his saber and deflecting shots.
Guards and clones fought in front of you as Anakin ran toward them. Swinging his lightsaber around like a baseball bat, he destroyed many of the droids until there were only a few left. The last of them were destroyed by your deflected shots and the clone's bullets.
Still, you felt trouble and you ran to where you could feel it. Anakin had stopped but followed behind you when you started running. You were getting closer as you heard faint voices and you could see Auren and Ashoka watching in a hallway.
You whispered, "Are they in there?"
They both nodded and Anakin ran through a hallway. You stayed with the girls and watched past the wall. Satine had stolen the Senator's gun and was pointing it at him while Obi-Wan had his blue saber out.
"I will blow up the ship as soon as I'm off. So who will strike me down and prove themselves a cold-blooded killer?" The man asked Obi-Wan and Satine. Neither of them moved a centimeter except for Satine's finger which wiggled on the trigger.
A blue lightsaber struck the man right through the chest and everyone was taken back. As the mans body fell you could see Anakin standing behind him. The detinator fell but you caught it with the force as you walked forward. Satine threw the gun away from her as Obi-Wan sighed,
"Anakin..."
"What? He was gonna blow up the ship."
You stood next to Anakin as Satine walked over to Obi-Wan.
"Obi-Wan, I-"
"Generals, the last of the battle droids have been defeated."
"Very good, Cody," Anakin said as Satine turned back to you.
"I must get back to the business of diplomacy." She said and began to walk out of the hallway.
The girls came over and you all followed her through the corridor.
