"Thanks for the ride, Rex!" Anakin exclaimed as you jumped off the ship that brought you to Obi-Wan and Yoda.

"Anytime, sir."

The ship flew away while you walked over to the masters who stood facing you. "Master Obi-Wan, Master Yoda." Anakin greeted and you nodded.

"Hmm," Yoda started, "Trouble you have, with your new padawans', I hear."

Ashoka looked to Anakin and Auren looked to you. They looked scared so you shook your head at Auren, telling her that you would continue to be her master. She looked down smiling.

"I was explaining the situation to Master Yoda."

"Really?"

"If not ready for a padawan, you are, then perhaps we can-"

"No, wait a minute. I admit Ashoka is a little rough around the edges, but with a great deal of training and patience. She might amount to something."

You, Ashoka, and Auren smiled at Anakin. "Then go with you, she will, to the Teth system."

"Teth?" You asked, "That's Wild Space, the droid army isn't even in that sector."

"Kidnapped, Jabba the Hutt's son has been."

"You want us to rescue Jabba's son?" Anakin didn't look pleased and you didn't blame him. He shouldn't be put on a mission that would bring up this many memories.

"Anakin, we'll need the Hutts' allegiance to give us an advantage over Dooku."

"Negotiate the treaty with Jabba, Obi-Wan will. Find the renegades that hold Jabba's son, your mission will be, Skywalker and (y/l/n)."

"Come on, Master. It doesn't sound that hard." Ashoka elbowed Anakin but he didn't react. He looked at you and then to the floor. "I'll get Rex and organize the troops!" She ran off signaling for Auren to come with her. You nodded and she ran off smiling as well.

"It will be fine Anakin, just teach her everything I taught you and she'll turn out fine."

"You know, something makes me think this was your idea from the start."

Obi-Wan smiled as Anakin turned to him. Then he turned to you and you began to walk off together. You stood near him and asked,

"Are you going to be alright?"

"Aren't I always?" He smirked and hopped on the ship beside Ashoka.

You stood next to Auren who had the biggest smile. "What's made you so smiley?"

"Oh, nothing," She looked between you and Anakin a few times before smiling at Ashoka. Who looked just as confused as Anakin and you.

The ship flew up until it made it to a carrier, like the one you arrived on. You boarded the ship with Anakin next to you. The girls had been acting strange the whole way there so you found it best to just leave them. R2 came rolling toward you, beeping once in earshot.

"Hey buddy," Anakin greeted, he pet his head. Ashoka and Auren appeared behind you.

"Hi R2!" Auren yelled a little too loudly. You chuckled as R2 responded.

Anakin looked at you confused, "They've met before."

"I can tell." He responded waiting for an answer but you just shrugged your shoulders and let him be bewildered.

Rex walked past Anakin and nodded to him. Ashoka and Auren followed him much to Rex's surprise. You and Anakin chuckled at his surprised face. Anakin began to walk in another direction and you followed. You walked next to him with R2 behind you in comfortable silence for almost a minute.

"So, how do you like having a padawan?" Anakin asked.

"I like it, although I don't know what to do most of the time. Auren's great though, and so is Ashoka." You smiled up at Anakin and he gave you one in return but he looked unsure. "Let me guess, you don't know how you feel about having a padawan."

He smirked, "Yeah, I've always been the padawan. It's a weird change."

"Trust me, you'll make a great teacher. You've taught me loads of things." You laughed and R2 made some sarcastic comment.

"Like what?"

"Like, it's okay to bend the rules sometimes."

"I mean, I guess having a girlfriend is against the rules." Your brain froze even though your body kept walking. "What?" He laughed, you must've looked funny.

"You've never called me that before." You muttered, still in shock.

"Well, if you're okay with it."

"Yeah, yeah," You answered quickly, "I'm okay with it."

He gave you a real smile which made your smile extra large. Then the noises of a ship landing sounded behind you. You turned around from the door you were about to walk through. Anakin walked quickly toward the ship and you had to jog for a second to keep up.

"Lieutenant, did the kidnappers see you?"

"No sir, we're the best scouts in the regiment." One man in camouflage armor responded.

"What about the bounty hunters? Are they still down there?" You asked, making the scouts look towards you.

"I don't think so. We haven't seen them in a while."

Analog crossed his arms, "Well, what are we up against?"

"Looks like at least two droid battalions protecting a monastery." The man in the front pulled out a hologram disc. Projecting the large monastery in front of him. It rested on a cliff and the different parts were all very rounded. "It's heavily fortified, sir, you won't be able to land there."

"Good work. Get some rest." Anakin walked say and you nodded to the troopers before following.

He walked to a group of clones standing around Ashoka while she told a story. "That sounds like a lot, even for a Jedi." One commented.

"I heard you were surrounded by droids. How did you even get the shield down?" Another asked.

"Okay, so there's a wall behind me with a hole in the middle. So I pull the wall down on top of the droids, destroying them and saving the generals." Ashoka told the story using her hands dramatically and the men laughed.

"Is that true, sir?" Rex asked while laughing.

"Well, most of it. Alright men, we still got a job to do."

"Yes sir. You heard the general, move it!" Rex cleared the crowd.

"Would this be a good time to teach you that a Jedi is humble, my young padawan?"

"Sorry, just trying to keep the boys inspired, is all," Ashoka smirked and Anakin shook his head.

"Where's Auren?" You asked.

"Right here!" Auren yelled, jumping from the top of a ship.

You started to walk, "What were you doing up there?"

"Getting a better view."

You chuckled and continued to walk with the group. Rex appeared behind you and scared you. Even though you didn't jump, you still flinched pretty hard.

"We're ready to go, sir." He stated, glancing at you apologetically.

You gave him a tight-lipped smile hoping to sure him you were okay. Yeah, you were definitely okay.

"Alright then, you got a ship for us?" Anakin asked.

"It's all ready, sir." Rex guided you to a ship, identical to the one you arrived in.

Anakin boarded first then you, then the girls together. "Put this on." Anakin handed you a robe, a dark one so it was one of his.

Nodding, you took it and put the hood up. Then you grabbed the top bars as the ship flew off and the sides closed almost all the way. One guy from the 501st held a holo-disc on which Obi-Wan appeared in a robe as well.

"All right, here's the story. Jabba has given us only one planetary rotation to get his son back to Tatooine safe and sound."

"Won't take us that long, Master," Anakin commented cockily.

"Well, take extreme care. We have no idea who's holding Jabba's son. When I finish negotiations with him, I will join you."

You bowed your head as Obi-Wan disappeared. Ashoka and Auren had gathered around you to watch Obi-Wan in their robes.

"Stay close to us, if you can," Anakin ordered Ashoka.

"It won't be a problem, Master."

"This isn't practice, Ashoka"

"I know, and ill try not to get you killed."

You glanced at Auren who was staring at the side wall. She was lost in thought but before you could do anything the ship rocked. Anakin grabbed your shoulder as you fell closer to him but he let go once it was stable again.

"Generals, we're taking heavy fire!" The pilot yelled.

"Close the blast shields, Lieutenant! Get us under those guns."

"Yes, sir!"

The doors closed the final inch and everything was dark. Until the red emergency lights came on.

"Ridge, your comms went static."

"Got it."

"Red light, stand by."

The men from the 501st conversed as they got ready to fight. Their guns clicked and you held on to your lightsaber.

"Green light!"

The light flashed green and you hopped out of the ship. Only a second behind Anakin, you followed and then the girls. Everyone crouched down as you ran through the foggy forest. Large trees provided cover but you came to a section with fewer trees.

Tanks fired loudly but you heard Anakin next to you, "Follow me!"

He ran toward the cliff ahead, running ing ng he back into it. You did the same and watched above you. Droids crawled sideways firing at the tanks and a small one fell in front of you. You put away your green lightsaber and so did Ashoka. Auren and Anakin put away their blues.

"So, this is where the fun begins." Ashoka joked to Anakin.

"I'll race you to the top."

"I'll give you a head start."

"Your mistake." Oh maker, you were dating a child.

He hopped up on a rope, reactivating his weapon to deflect bullets. "I'm right behind you, Master!"

You jumped to the rope beside him doing the same with your lightsaber. Climbing up you saw Ashoka jump to the walker so you glanced at Auren, she was below you on the rope and she looked a little more alert.

"Wanna play a game?" You asked.

She looked intrigued, "Sure, what is it?"

"First one to get to the top and slice a droid with their lightsaber wins."

"You're on!"

She jumped to another rope and started going faster. A noise came in from that side and it was droids on flying scooters.

"Watch out!" You yelled to Auren as they cut close to her. She got close to the wall and then backed up once they left. She smiled at you before taking off again.

The walker Ashoka was on started to fall and you looked to Anakin. If he was already in pursuit, you shouldn't go to her because it would be too crowded. He began his pursuit, jumping down to the walker and taking out the droids on the flying scooters with guns.

He took one of them and flew up the cliff. You had to start going faster if you were going to beat Auren. Climbing faster, you began to catch up to Anakin but he was already on top. When you got there, he had already taken out all the droids.

"Ah, no fair."

"Huh?" He asked as droidkeas rolled out.

"Nevermind, I spoke too soon."

A shot came from behind you and took out the droids. "Hey there, Skyguy."

She hopped down from the walker and Auren popped up beside her. "I guess neither of us won."

"I guess so," She responded looking at the broken droids.

"All clear, Generals."

"Thanks Rex, good work." He walked over to a pile of droids and you followed, "Too many droids here for it to be renegades."

"I can sense Count Dooku's part in this, we should get in and out quickly." You commented to which Anakin nodded.

"No problem, the hard part's over." Ashoka chimed in.

"I wish you wouldn't say that."

You began walking toward the Monastery, Anakin followed with the girls. The doors opened and it was dark. So some men turned on the flashlights on their helmets.

"I don't like this place, it gives me the creeps," Rex muttered.

"This looks like one of those B'ormarr monk monasteries that I read about in my studies at the temple," Auren explained while looking around.

"Smugglers take these places over and turn them into their own personal retreats." Anakin spoke.

"And the monks just let them?" Ashoka asked.

"Smugglers usually get their way, one way or another." You clarified.

Something clicked in the dark and everyone turned their flashlights on it. A gold droid stood there, much like C-3PO.

"Good guy or bad guy, Master?" Ashoka questioned.

"Who are you?"

"Merely the humble caretaker, O mighty sir. You have liberated me from those dreadful battle bots. I am most thankful."

"Where is the Hutt?" Anakin investigated.

"Down in the basement, but I must warn you. It is very dangerous down there, my friend. Not a place for servant girls."

You raised your eyebrows and gave the droid a stare that could burn through metal.

"Dod servant girls carry these?" Ashoka whipped out her lightsaber, "I'm a Jedi Knight."

She was quick-tempered, much like Anakin. The droid put his hands up as Anakin crossed his arms. Giving Ashoka a disapproving look.

"Or soon will be." She corrected.

"A thousand apologies, young one." The droid looked at you and nodded. You had pushed back your robe to show your saber.

Ashoka walked by him with Auren close behind. Auren hadn't reacted much to the droid's insults but you could feel her anger boiling down.

"Captain, we'll get the Hitt. Stay here and keep your eyes open." Anakin ordered.

"Copy that, sir," Rex confirmed.

You were already a couple of steps in front of Anakin but he caught up quickly. He wanted to step in front of the girls soon, so they weren't put in more danger. You could hear that in his thoughts.

"Girls," They looked behind them at you, "Get behind us."

They nodded and stopped for a second while Anakin and you passed them. Then Ashoka asked,"Master, you know you're leading us into a trap?"

"I know," Is all he said.

"We just passed two more droids."

"I know," He was done with Ashoka's comments.

"Well, I don't like this," She stopped walking, "Can I just take care of them?"

"Oh well if you feel so strongly about it, go ahead."

She turned around with a battle cry slicing the droids. Anakin crossed his arms and judged, you looked at Auren. She was next to you watching Ashoka, confused. Since the time you had met Auren, she had always been a pacifist. Even when there was no war, she hated the lightsaber fighting they did in class.

"Not bad," Anakin graded, "You remembered to destroy their weapons first."

"I'm improving your technique," She snapped.

You stabbed a droid behind you, clearing the way to walk. "Of course, you did miss one," Anakin explained.

"I did that on purpose."

"I sense the Huttlet is in here." You stated.

"I smell him, too." Auren coughed and waved the air.

Anakin pressed the button to open the door. A small ball of slime wiggled toward you, crying.

"He's a lot younger than I thought he'd be." Anakin sounded disgusted.

"Oh, he's just a baby. This will make our job a lot easier," Ashoka squared down with the huttlet, "Aww, he's so cute."

"Just wait till you see what he grows into." Anakin still had the same tone in his voice.

Ashoka waved for Auren to come to the huttlet and she did. Even though Auren didn't seem to have the same passion for it that Ashoka had.

Anakin's wrist buzzed, "General Skywalker, the castle is secure and it's nearly midday."

"Thanks, Rex. We've got Jabba's son. Any sign of General Kenobi yet?"

"No, sir."

"Master, my Jedi training didn't prepare me for this. What are we going to do?" Auren asked you.

"Do you want to carry him?"

"No way." She stood up and backed away.

"I'll do it," Ashoka yelled, grabbing the Hutt.

Together, you walked out of the basement and up to the main level. Anakin turned to Ashoka, "How do you like your little buddy now? Still Cute?"

"You know, he's remaining me of you more and more," She wiggled him to Anakin who stared in repulsion, "See two of a kind!"

"Mayeb you should carry both of us then." Anakin walked off.

"Master Y/n, I think this little guy is sick. He's burning up with a fever."

You walked toward her and Anakin came over as well. You felt his head and it was as hot as Mustafar.

"You're right, we need to get him back to the ship immediately."

Anakin yelled, "Trooper, get me a backpack."

A man ran over with a backpack, handing it to Anakin. They nodded and the trooper walked off. Both Anakin and Ashoka tried to squish the Huttlet in the bag while you and Auren watched.

"You touched that thing?" She asked you.

"It wasn't that bad, he wasn't as slimy as I was expecting." Auren just frowned and continued to watch.

"Will you just let me do it?" Ashoka asked.

"I hate Hutt's." Anakin wiped his hands on his legs and stood up.

He walked over to you and Auren backed up. You laughed, "I think Auren shares your distaste."

"Good." He chuckled.

You walked over to a small ship where R2 sat. He beeped and put out a hologram of Obi-Wan.

"Anakin, Y/n, did you locate Jabba's son?"

"We have him, but it looks like Sepratists are behind his abduction. This smells like Count Dooku to me."

"I think it's little stinky you smell," Ashoka commented and Auren giggled.

"I'll bet Dooku is using us to get Jabba to join the Separatists."

"Master Kenobi, we have a problem," Auren started, "The Huttlet is very sick."

"We're not sure we can get him back to Tatooine alive." You explained.

"This whole rescue would backfire on us. I still don't think dealing with the Hutts is a good idea." Anakin continued.

"Anakin, you know they control the shipping routes in the outer rim. Jabba's consideration is crucial to the war effort. If you let anything happen to his son-"

"Defensive positions!" Rex yelled.

"Anakin?"

"We'll have to call you back, Master. We're under attack. We could use a little help here if you have the time."

A large ship moved in overhead, "ill get there as soon as I can. Protect the Hutt, Y/n and Anakin."

Smaller ships came out and began to fire at you. Pulling out your lightsaber, you deflected them with Anakin and Auren.

"Stay behind us!" You yelled to Ashoka as the clones troopers began to take fire.

"We've got spiders inbound!"

The clones set up a canon as droids marched forward. They were getting closer and closer and you had started backing up.

"Go inside!" Anakin yelled to Ashoka.

"Protect them!" You leaned over to Auren who was deflecting shots. She nodded and ran after Ashoka with her lightsaber at her side. "Guess it's just us now."

"Guess so," He smirked but then looked forward again, "Fall back!"

You backed up with Anakin while troopers passed you. "Close the door!"

Even though you were a couple of feet in front of the door, they needed to close it. With slight hesitation, the door began to close. When it got low you and Anakon slipped under joining the troops and the girls inside.

"Captain, we'll stay here until General Kenobi arrives with reinforcements." Ashoka stared up at Anakin, "What?"

"Master, do you really think we can hold them off?"

"We have to. Our mandate is to protect the Hutt and that's what we're going to do, Ashoka."

"Our mandate was to get this Hutt back to Tattoine and time is running out."

You walked over next to Auren who was zoned out on the wall.

"I suppose you have a plan."

"Yes, or I think so, R2 willing."

R2 beeped, "All right Snips, I'll trust you on this one. Captain, hold them here as long as you can."

"Will do, sir. You heard the General!"

Anakin walked by you and brushed your hand with his, smirking at you. You rolled your eyes and turned to Auren who was still zoned out. You placed your hand on her shoulder, trying not to startle her. She looked at you with wide eyes and you just nodded to where Anakin had gone. She nodded and walked over to them, you following.
