《Out-Flirt Me - Anakin x Reader》Chapter 21- New Old Friends

Obi-Wan was being fired on and you and Jyp took cover behind a fallen-over crystal. "I'll cover you, you get to Obi-Wan."
He nodded and you jumped on top of the crystal. Igniting your lightsaber, you deflected bullets coming at you and Jyp. You slightly moved with Jyp to make sure he was fully covered and he made it to Obi-Wan safely. Obi-Wan saw you and nodded which you took as your cue to come to him.
You jumped from your crystal to another crystal, having your lightsaber at your side. When you made it to Obi-Wan you stood next to him on the crystal deflecting bullets. Jyp and Cody were firing at the droids from behind the crystal.
"We need to take out the larger droids!" Obi-Wan yelled, trying to get his voice across the noise.
"I agree, but how?"
"I have an idea."
You flung your lightsaber around and almost cut Anakin's head off. He held his hands up in defense and smirked.
"Don't sneak up on me like that." You sighed.
Anakin hopped up onto the crystal beside you after you took your lightsaber from his neck.
"I say we get into that building up there," he pointed, "and attach wires to the larger ones. Sending electricity through the wires and short-circuiting them."
"It just might work," Obi-Wan added, "but how are we going to get up there?"
"Follow me!" You yelled jumping from the crystal and doing a flip. When you landed you spun around so that you were on your knees behind a crystal facing Obi-Wan and Anakin. Anakin smiled but Obi-Wan looked so done with you.
Anakin followed you and Obi-Wan covered the captains so that they could follow as well. You somersaulted another crystal and then crept to another. You were going sideways toward the crystal building Anakin had pointed at. The group did the same thing and you continued leading them until you got to the building.
You kicked down some glass from the bottom and brushed it away with your sleeve. Then you crawled in and stood up. Anakin was next and you gave him your hand to stand up. Obi-Wan came in and you did the same, then Jyp, Rex, and Cody whom you still held your hand out for.
You went up the circular stairs until you made it to the roof. You crouched walking around because there was a small railing that wasn't tall enough to not be seen while walking. Peaking over the edge, you could see the large black droids with lots of legs. There were also bodies lying across the ground. Droids and clones, it made your stomach hurt.
Looking behind you, Anakin was couched with Rex. They were getting a wire ready as you waddled to Jyp.
"You ready?"
"Always."
Together you walked to the side and peaked over the edge. He aimed for the closet one and it was a perfect shot. The wire was attached and Anakin set a little charge on it. He motioned for you to back up and so you left the gun resting on the edge with the charge. In two beeps it sent an electric wave through the wire, shocking the large droid.
It shook for a couple of seconds before toppling over and taking the one next to it down. Jyp detached the wire and brought it back to his gun, backing away from the edge. Anakin did the same with Rex and Obi-Wan did it with Cody. Soon all of the large droids were knocked down.

"We should send the ships back for supplies," Obi-Wan commented as you walked down the stairs.
"Right now?" You asked.
"We will need them soon."
You nodded and Obi-Wan made the transmission. Crawling out of the broken glass, you saw droids and clones fighting in the center of the battlefield now. The clones had the advantage since there were fewer small droids. They had been relying on the large ones and now the clones could do the most damage.
Hoping on top of a crystal, you ignited your lightsaber. Your green weapon deflected any red bullets that came at you or the building. Everyone was still in there but things began to get more heated.
"Generals!" You yelled facing the building. Anakin came out confused. "They're back!"
The large black droids stood up again and began to fight the clones. They had to drop back into more cover to keep from being blown to bits. Still, the canons on the large droids blasted their cover and sent them flying.
"We shouldn't have sent those ships back!" Anakin yelled to Obi-Wan who had come out of the building. "Rex, you and your men follow me!"
"Yes sir!" They ran off into a puff of smoke.
"Cody, battle positions!" They ran off in another direction.
"What's your call, Jyp?"
"I say we round the troops and fight from here."
"You do that."
"Yes, ma'am!" He ran off behind you as you continued to deflect bullets.
Anakin had disappeared about Obi-Wan looked at you. He made hand signals that you had learned about a couple of years ago. Attack, droid, my command. You nodded and he continued to fight. Jyp came back behind you with the 777th, they stationed themselves behind fallen buildings and held their fire.
You hopped down from the crystal and held your hand out in a fist. Then you opened it and your battalion opened fire. That's when someone jumped on top of a droid from a building. It was Anakin, he was a dumbass but he was your dumbass. Obi-Wans' battalion ran into chaos and you took that as your signal.
You waved your hand forward and the 777th sprinted into the battle. Running in the front of the pack, you led everyone toward the larger fight. Then you sprinted ahead slicing droids right and left. Anakin was still on top of one of the large droids deflecting shots. He destroyed one of the droids hopping to the next. Obi-Wan was doing the same as you, running through the separatist army.
Obi-Wan made it to the end of the first wave only a second before you. Meeting him there, the two of you watched Anakin destroy another large droid. He hopped down, done with all the droids, and met you and Obi-Wan behind large metal parts.
"We're going to need reinforcements!" He commented.
"We haven't been able to get through to the Admiral!" Obi-Wan explained.
Large cannons from behind you blew up the separatist tanks ahead of you. That's when they stopped and turned around, all yelling roger roger.
"They're pulling back," You stated as a ship flew over your head.
"Looks like help has arrived." Obi-Wan turned around to see R2. "Our cruiser must be back."
"Which means we'll be able to get our reinforcements."
"That means all our problems are solved," Obi-Wan began, "and maybe they brought my new padawan learner with them."
"You really think it's a good idea to bring a padawan into all this?" You questioned.

"I spoke to master Yoda about it, you two should put in requests. You would both make great teachers."
Anakin chuckled, "No thanks."
"Anakin, teaching is a privilege and it's part of a Jedis to help train the next generation."
"A padawan would just slow me down."
The doors opened and a small girl was the only thing in there. She began to walk out and you realized you knew her. It was Ashoka, she was going to be Obi-Wan's new padawan.
"I'm Ashoka, Master Yoda sent me." She looked at you and her eyes went wide but she had to finish her statement. "I was told to tell you three that you need to get back to the Jedi Temple immediately. There's an emergency."
That's not good.
"I don't know if you noticed but we're in a bit of an emergency right here."
"Yes, our communications have been a bit unreliable but we've been asking for help."
You stayed silent as Obi-Wan and Anakin argued. If there was an emergency at least one of you should go.
"Master Yoda hadn't heard from you so he sent me to deliver the message."
Anakin sighed and took a few steps backward, "Oh great! They don't even know we're in trouble."
"Maybe you can relay a message through the cruiser that just dropped us off."
"Us?" You asked.
Ashoka looked back and another girl started to walk out of the ship. She was carrying a box that was almost the size of her. You jogged over to her to take the box.
"Here, let me help you." You grabbed the top of the box where there were little indents. Now you could see the little girl's face. "Auren? You came with Ashoka?"
She smiled at you, "Y/n! Or Master Y/n now, congratulations on the promotion." She raised her eyebrows twice while elbowing you.
"Thanks," You set the box down by the ship, "What are you doing here, I thought Ashoka was the only messenger?"
"I'll explain later. Come on, we need to get that message through."
Auren ran back into the ship and you turned back to the rest of the group. Ashoka was smiling and walking toward you while Anakin looked aggravated. Obi-Wan looked one and walked into the ship with you and Ashoka. A few seconds later Anakin appeared. Auren pressed the button on the holo-table.
A clone commander popped up and Obi-Wan explained, "We need to get a message to the Jedi Temple."
"We're being attacked by separatist warships but I will try and make contact. Stand by."
Anakin and Obi-Wan looked at the younglings suspiciously as they stood on either side of you. Auren was a little shorter than Ashoka and only an inch or two below your shoulders. Ashoka wore a red tube top and shorts with white leggings. Auren wore a light yellow crossed crop top with white leggings and black boots. She also had a black belt that held her lightsaber.
"Master Kenobi, glad Ashoka and Auren found you, I am."
"Master Yoda, we are trapped here and vastly outnumbered. We are in no position to go anywhere or do anything. Our support ships have all been destroyed."
"Send reinforcements to you, we will-" The transmission crackled out.
"Master Yoda! Master Yoda!" He was gone but the clone on the ship appeared again.
"We have lost the transmission and we need to leave orbit immediately."
Another man walked into fame behind him, "More enemy ships have just arrived."
"We'll get back to you as soon as we can," The first one explained before crackling put like Master Yoda.
"I guess we'll have to hold out a little longer." Anakin crossed his arms.
"My apologies, young ones. It's time for a proper introduction." Obi-Wan walked toward you and the girls.
"I'm a new padawan learner, I'm Ashoka Tano."
"I'm Obi-Wan Kenobi, your new master."
Ashoka looked confused, "I'm at your service, Master Kenobi. But I'm afraid I've been assigned to Master Skywalker."
"What?!" He yelled, "No, no, no. There must be some kind of mistake. He's the one who wanted a padawan." Anakin pointed at Obi-Wan as he walked behind him.
"No Master Yoda was very specific. In assigned to serve Anakin Skywalker and he is to supervise my Jedi training."
You laughed at Anakin who was entirely flustered.
"And I'm your padawan, Master (y/l/n)!" Auren chimed in from next to you.
"What? I get one too?"
"Yep!"
"But this doesn't make any sense," Anakin stated.
"We'll have to sort this out later. It won't be long before those droids find a way around our cannons." Obi-Wan stood between Anakin and Ashoka while you stared at Auren. Force, did she look like you.
"I'll check on Rex in the outlook post." Anakin began to walk away.
"You better take Ashoka with you," Obi-Wan pushed her toward him. He just glanced back and continued walking while Ashoka tagged along.
"Come on then, we can find something to do." You smiled at Auren who was taking in her surroundings. Walking off with her, you found Jyp with his helmet off talking to another clone. "Hey, Jyp!" He turned to you, "This is Auren, my new padawan."
Jyp smiled at Auren and she returned it. Auren had always been curious and she looked fascinated by Jyp. "Are you a clone?"
You were a little taken aback by the question but Jyp wasn't fazed. "Yeah I am, kid. This is Tunk, he's another clone." Jyp waved to the man next to him who nodded.
"That's cool, and you're the captain of the 777th?"
"Yep and you're the commander."
"Woah," Auren looked at you with wide eyes, "That's really cool."
Auren and you began to walk, waving goodbye to Jyp and Tunk. Who was also a part of the 777th. Something red started to grow in the distance and it looked to be an energy shield. You had turned around to face it and so do Auren.
"Master? What's that?"
"I believe it's an energy shield, but it's gonna make everything a lot harder here."
"You're right about that," A voice said from behind you. It was Anakin again.
You turned and faced him, smiling at the man you love. "Where's your padawan, Anakin?" You asked when you realized Ashoka wasn't there.
"Oh, Ashoka is with Rex, but she's not my padawan."
"Of course she is! Just like I'm Master Y/ns'."
"I don't think so, mini Y/n."
"What?" Auren's voice dripped with sass.
Anakin turned to you, "You didn't tell her?"
"Tell me what?"
"It's nothing Auren, you just look a lot like me when I was your age."
"Like a scary amount like her." You elbowed Anakin, he was going to freak her out or something.
"Maybe the best Jedi just look alike," Auren smirked just like Anakin does.
Anakin chuckled but he didn't have time to respond. Rex appeared behind the three of you with Ashoka.
"Obi-Wan needs you." Anakin just nodded and you walked with him. Ashoka and Auren walked behind you talking about how amazing it was to be here.
Obi-Wan was standing at a holo-table stroking his chin in thought. You came to stand around the table next to Anakin while Ashoka and Auren stood next to Rex and Jyp, who had been there before you.
"The shield generator is somewhere in this area," Obi-Wan pointed to a few buildings on the table, "They're slowly increasing the diameter and keeping it just ahead of their troops."
"Heavy cannons are going to be useless against that," Rex explained while Jyp nodded in agreement.
"As they get closer, I suppose we could try to draw them into the buildings. That may level the playing field a bit."
Ashoka popped up next to Obi-Wan, "If that shield's going to be such a problem, why don't we just take it out?"
"Easier said than done," Jyp commented.
"Well, I, for one, agree with her," Anakin started, "Someone has to get to that shield generator and destroy it."
"Right then. Maybe you four can tiptoe through enemy lines," You didn't realize you were included in this plan, "and solve this problem together."
"Can do, Master Kenobi!"
"Ahem," Anakin cleared his throat, drawing Ashoka's attention, "We'll decide what we do."
"If Rex, Jyp, and I can entertain them here you four might have a chance to he through their lines undetected."
"They won't have much time, the droids vastly outnumber us. So our ability to street fight is limited without the use of our heavy cannons."
"We'll figure out a way!" Ashoka exclaimed, "Come on Masters, let's go."
"If we survive this, Snips, you and I are going to have a talk." Anakin whispered to her.
You trailed along with Auren next to you. Anakin led the way up to a watching post where clones had been stationed earlier. He loomed over the edge with binoculars while you just examined with your eyes. Auren and Ashoka paced behind the two of you.
"So, what's the plan?" Ashoka asked.
"Huh, I thought you were the one with the plan," Anakin responded.
"No, I'm the one with the enthusiasm. You two are the ones with experience, which I'm looking forward to learning from."
She made a good point and Anakin smirked. "Well, first we need to get behind that shield, then get past their tank lines."
"Why don't we just go around the edge? Outdlank them!" Auren explained.
"It would take to long, we would run out of time." You corrected.
"Then right down the middle," She tried again.
"Impossible. Unless you can turn yourself into a droid." Anakin faded off as if he had a plan, and you knew exactly what it was.
"All right, you win. Our first lesson will be to wait while you guys come up with an answer." Ashoka gave up, leaning back against the rail.
Anakin smirked as you and you did the same. "Well, the wait's over. We've got a plan."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was dark until Anakin lifted the box that you all somehow fit under. You glanced out for a second before he lowered it down again, you were close. The shield made a weird noise as it engulfed the box and the droids walked around the edges.
"This is a stupid plan!" I mean Ashoka wasn't wrong, it wasn't the normal approach. "We should fight these guys instead of sneaking around!"
"Except for the fact that their energy shield just passed right over us. If you can't cross their lines, let their lines cross you."
"If you say so," Ashoka responded to Anakin as they began to crawl away. The sound of blaster fire was loud behind you.
Continuing to crawl in the box, you passed all of the metal footsteps. "Do we still need this thing?" Ashoka asked, "I'm getting sick of it, I need to stand up."
We all let her since you all agreed, it was annoying. Standing up, you walked next to Auren behind Anakin and Ashoka.
"You need to be careful, you never know what you're going to run into-"
He ran into something, knocking you all down. You fell next to him, Ashoka and Auren a behind you two. "See what I mean."
A droidkea stood in your life way and it started firing. Ingigting your lightsaber, you crawled backward while deflecting shots. You hopped up on your feet once you were a couple yards away.
"We can't beat it's shields!" Auren yelled.
"Run!" Anakin responded.
"What, Jedi don't run!" Ashoka commented.
"I said run!"
You deflected a few more shots before following them. It's metal parts clashed as it rolled after you.
"Ashoka, stop!"
"Make up your mind!"
"Stop!"
Ashoka stopped at Anakin's request and sliced the droid in half. Anakin cut it into forths as it came toward him.
"Good," Anakin said before walking away.
You walked next to him as Ashoka and Auren followed. He looked very focused as you stared at him. When he looked over, his expression lightened as you made eye contact. You smiled and looked forward, you had just made sure he was feeling alright without having to ask him.
The group came to a step up as the noises got louder. The shield produced a buzzing sound that was getting annoying. You climbed the crystal pieces that led up to a platform. When you got to the top Anakin was there reaching out his hand. You took it, pulling yourself up next to him.
"There it is!" Ashoka pointed to the beacon in the distance. She began to run and Anakin chased after her. Wanting to catch up, you did the same and Auren followed.
"Wait here," Anakin muttered as they got cover.
"Come on!" Ashoka yelled, running to the beacon.
"Wait!"
"What we're all most there? What's the hold-up?"
Anakin reached out toward her but she was too far away. He began to run right as she stopped. Ashoka had stepped on a booby-trap, pleasing droids around her.
"Forget about the droids! Set those charges!"
You ran after Anakin, he was going to need help. Auren followed you, you had forgotten about her.
"Auren, go help Ashoka!"
"Yes, master!" She yelled and took off after Ashoka, we ain't around the obsitcals.
