《A Solangelo Alphabet》Epilogue

Deep breaths. Deep breaths.
Gods, why was he so nervous? He loved Will. He loved Will with his whole heart... and that would never change. So why was this such a big deal?
Nico tried calming himself down, but, of course, nothing worked. He could feel his heart pounding inside his chest. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Hazel. His sister. She looked beautiful. Her dark hair had bright flowers woven through it and she was wearing a bright pink dress with white ribbons on it. Piper and Annabeth, who were setting at the mirror behind them, were dressed the exact same way.
"Ready?" She asked Nico. He started to reply with 'of course', but his throat tightened, and all he could do was nod. Hazel hugged him, and he hugged her back. He heard music start somewhere, and he quickly stood up straight. He didn't know how weddings like this usually worked, but in this one, he and Will would come in from opposite sides of the building and meet in the middle of the stage area. "Hey, don't worry. Will loves you." Hazel told Nico gently, brushing a few loose stands of hair out of his eyes. Nico nodded, wondering if Will was feeling the same way right now.
"C'mon man. Eat. It might help you." Percy offered Will a slice of pizza. Will shook his head. It was about the millionth time Percy had tried to get him to eat a slice, but eating was about the last thing Will wanted to do right now. "Hey bud. Calm down." Jason told him, winking. Will smiled lightly. "Percy?" Percy glanced back at Will with a questioning look on his face. "Were... Uh, were you this nervous? Like..." Percy's eyes lit up, just like they always did when Annabeth was mentioned. "Before my and Annabeth's wedding? Gods, yeah. But it was totally worth it." He grinned. Will nodded. "Hey, don't worry. Nico loves you." Jason said. "Guys. It's... it's almost time." Frank said from somewhere behind Will. He nodded again, swallowing hard. Music started, and all four guys stood up.
Percy and Annabeth were the first couple to leave the dressing rooms. They walked in at the same and stood at opposite sides of the platform. They were soon followed by Piper, who stood beside Annabeth, and Jason, who stood beside Percy. Frank and Hazel followed them; Nico and Will were close behind.
Nico watched Hazel take five steps, knowing his cue to walk out was five steps behind her, but the moment he could see around her, into the doorway where Will was standing, Nico's heart leapt into his throat and his throat and his mouth fell open. Will looked... perfect. He looked beautiful. He smiled shyly at Nico, and Nico smiled back. They both started walking, reaching the middle of the room, and each other, at the same time. Nico took Will's hands in his own, his brown eyes sparkling as bright as Will's blue ones. The ceremony started, but Nico wasn't listening to a word that was being said. He was lost in his own thoughts, in Will's blue eyes, in the strongest happiness he'd felt in... ever.
When they'd first gotten engaged, he had worried about some of the things some people had said. They were too young, only 21 and 22; they were both guys; they were the exact opposite of each other - literally, darkness and light. Now, none of that mattered to him. None of that at all.

When it came time for them to say their vows, Will's grip on Nico's hands tightened. Nico watched Will swallow, and then he started talking. "Nico. My Nico." He swallowed again. "I've loved you since the first time I saw you, when my father brought you to camp. You're the one I lied awake worrying about every night you were missing from camp. I always dreamed about being here with you, but now that's it's real, I can't believe it's happening. I love you Nico, and I always will." There were a few gasps in the crowd, Nico blinked tears out of his eyes. He had no idea how he would top that. "Will. You... You were one of the first people I let into my life. I mean, really, let in. I was nervous, worried you'd leave me, but now, I can't believe I ever felt that way. I never want to loose you Will. I love you, and I promise I'll always be here for you." Will gasped, along with a few of the guests.
The officiator said a few more words, and before Nico knew it, Will's lips were pressed against his own. Nico ran his hand across the back of Will's neck, and he felt the son of Apollo shiver. They pulled apart, and Nico smiled shyly at Will. Will smiled back at Nico as the officiator said the last words. When he finished speaking, Percy and Annabeth met in the aisle, clasped hands, and walked out. Piper and Jason followed; soon did Hazel and Frank. Will slipped his hand into Nico's... and while they followed the other three couples out, neither one of the boys could wipe the big grin off their faces.
"...Anyways, I'm happy for you guys. I love you." Reyna finished her speech. Nico was still smiling bigger than he could ever remember, and Will's hand was still locked in his own. "Now, we will hear a few words from Percy Jackson." Everyone clapped as Percy stood and took the microphone from Reyna. Nico heard him take a deep breath and suppressed a laugh. Percy didn't get nervous. "Well..." Percy started, drawing the word out. Nico heard Annabeth groan. "I've known Nico a long time. Like, a long time. Like, about 11 or 12 years." Percy shook his head. "Anyway... He was always a pretty lonely kid. He didn't have hardly any friends. 'Cept for me. Yeah... I was about his only friend. We went through everything together. Heck, there was one time he almost got me killed... And then there was another time he almost got me killed again... Oh! And there was a time he had me take a swim in the ol Styx..." He shook his head again. Will looked like he was trying not to burst into a fit of laughter. Annabeth looked like she was about to kill Percy. Nico didn't know what to think. "I was there for Nico through a whole lot of stuff. But then... He just had to inform me that... You know... I wasn't... Eh... His type." Nico put his head on the table he and Will were setting at; Will and Percy laughed; Annabeth buried her face in Piper's shoulder. "No, I'm kidding. Me and Nico have been through a lot... Heck, so have Will and I. Two wars, man. But really, I'm proud of my boys. Take care of each other, okay?" Percy grinned. People clapped between gasps and shrieks of laughter. Even Nico had to smile. "He's an idiot." Nico told Will. "Tell me about it." Will giggled. "Come on!" Hazel said into the mic that Percy had just handed her, walking over to them. "You guys have to have the first dance now!" Nico and Will looked at each other and smiled. Again. They stood up and walked to the middle of the dance floor as the lights dimmed. Several of Will's siblings were performing the first song. Nico and Will had chosen it for their first dance almost a year ago. It was the wedding version of 'Never Stop', originally by Safteysuit. The music started as they slipped their hands around each other's backs.

this is my love song to you
let every woman know I'm yours
Nico let Will take the lead as they slowly, gracefully glided across the dance floor. Will had never been a particularly graceful person, but even Nico had to admit.. Will was an excellent dancer.
so you can fall asleep each night babe
and know I'm dreaming of you more
you're always hoping that we make it
you always want to keep my gaze
Well you're the only one I see
and that's the one thing that won't change
Nico locked his eyes on Will's and held his gaze. He had to be the most beautiful boy Nico had ever seen. His blond hair falling down in his face, his tan skin...
I'll never stop trying
I'll never stop watching as you leave
I'll never stop loosing my breath
Every time I see you looking back at me
I'll never stop holding your hand
I'll never stop opening your door
I'll never stop choosing you babe
I'll never get used to you
Nico's heart leapt into his chest. He pulled himself closer to Will, who seemed grateful. Nico could actually see the love in his eyes. He hoped he looked the same way.
And with this love song to you
It's not a momentary phase
You are my life, I don't deserve you
But you love me just the same
Those lyrics seemed to fit Nico's situation perfectly. He had no idea what he'd done to deserve someone like Will, but he was so grateful for it, whatever it was. And the thing was, Will didn't even seem to mind.
But as the mirror says we're older
I will not look the other way
You are my life, my love, my only
And that's the one thing that won't change
Nico thought about the night Will purposed. It was New Years' Eve, and they were at the camp's annual party. They'd already been living together in an apartment in the city for quite a while, and Will was in his third year of medical school.
I'll never stop trying
I'll never stop watching as you leave
I'll never stop loosing my breath
Every time I see you looking back at me
I'll never stop holding your hand
I'll never stop opening your door
I'll never stop choosing you babe
I'll never get used to you
The whole camp was gathered around, counting down to midnight. They got to one, and everyone was screaming. Nico looked around for Will, and glanced down to find him on one knee in front of him.
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
'Nico?' Nico's eyes has filled up with tears and his hands had flown to his mouth. 'My Nico... Will you marry me?' It was so simple, but it meant the world to Nico. He nodded furiously as he got down on his knees and kissed Will.
I'll never stop trying
I'll never stop watching as you leave
I'll never stop loosing my breath
Every time I see you looking back at me
I'll never stop holding your hand
I'll never stop opening your door
I'll never stop choosing you babe
I'll never get used to you
Will pressed his body up against Nico; they were so close Nico could feel Will's heartbeat.
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
Still get my heart racing
The music faded out, and Will leaned down and kissed Nico. People started to cheer, but before anyone could move, the lights shut all the way off. Five suit jackets flew to a corner of the room. A familiar beat started, and as the first words of the song played, the lights came up, revealing Nico, Will, Jason, Percy, and Frank all standing in a straight line.
Now watch me whip!
Now watch me nae nae!
Now watch me whip, whip
Watch me nae nae
As the five danced the popular dance (very well, Nico might add), every single one of their friends was smiling, and several were laughing.
Nico thought back to the time, so long ago, when he felt like he'd never smile again. He felt like happiness would never come to him again; but here, now, he felt like the whole world was aligning just to fit to his liking. He was happier than he had been in his entire life. He was now married to the boy he had loved for almost eight years, he had some of the most wonderful friends anyone could have, and he hoped nothing would ever change.

Gods of Olympus. I can't believe this was the last chapter. I've been writing this book since March and now it just kind of feels... weird for it to be over. I just want you guys to know that I really really really really love you all. Thank you all so much for sticking with me this whole time, through all the sucky chapters and the adorable ones too... you guys really are the best. To everyone who's commented, voted, sent suggestions/requests for chapters, thank you all, every time I get a notification saying 'new comment' I just grin like an idiot because I love it that someone actually likes what I'm writing. Even though this book is over, I'll definitely keep writing.
Anyway, I'll say it again, I love you guys. Every single one of you. Thank you for reading this far. I've had so much fun writing this :)

Rise of the First Necromancer
Asrael Nessarat awakes on a sandy dune with a mouthful of sand and nothing but tattered rags in his posession. As the High Magus of the school of Necromancy, he once aspired to prove to the Emperor that magic still held a place in their society. But that day came, passed and inevitably accelerated his kind's downfall. Now; they are hunted, strung up and burned on pyres throughout the Empire by the Emperor's holy Inquisition- an efficient and ruthless army hell-bent on bleeding every last droplet of magic from the lands. With nothing but a mouthful of sand and tattered rags; Asrael is determined to seek the one thing his cold, still heart desires. Vengeance. This story can, at times, get very dark. It is not recommended for the faint of heart. This is not a story of an overtly powerful wizard who can pulverize his enemies from across the world, nor is it in any way, shape or form a joyous tale. We follow Asrael as he and his companions explore and seek to change an unjust world, where kindness and acceptance are exceptions, rather than the rule. If you are looking for a story to inspire hope or joy, this is not it. If you wish to read about likeable, heroic people, turn around. If you wish to see good battle evil, where the cut in between is clear, then this is not for you.

The Heretic Legion
Cover Art: Undead Master by Changling Assassin. Located at: http://fav.me/dbm60ex Used under license Creative Commons attribution non-commercial 3.0 per bottom right of the linked page. Summary: Just the story of a necromancer and his eventual army. Currently, the only major thing of note is a pretty fleshed out magic system. No set list of spells or specific incantations. Just rules similar to the laws of physics, within those laws you can do whatever is possible. Updates: I work Sunday thru Wednesday and updates tend to revolve around my scheduled days off. Currently, I release content as I feel it's ready for release because that's what I myself would prefer from an author. Warnings: This story is graphic. blood/necromancy magic that requires self-harm to use. explicit descriptions of sexuality. (though fairly tame outside of the marked chapters, at least compared to said chapters) and is generally darker in tone. If you're concerned you might start to read only to be turned off by these elements. See 7. Teetering on the Edge for an example of the graphic nature of violence or 9. Explicit Content for a fairly self-contained example of the most explicit of the sexual content.

Four story anthology
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] [participant in #NaNoWriMo] Preface: This fiction will contain four different stories set up as a challenge for myself and to get better at writing. The challenge for royal road writathon is a 55.555 word goal while the nanowrimo challenge is 50.000 words. Reader suggestions is turned on, feel free to point out errors I missed and I'll fix them up! Chasing sun, napping softly: Cultivation/Xianxia genre. Some parts will poke at the ridiculousness of the Xianxia gerne. We follow the life of a magical fox monster, who doesn't like how the cultivation world works. Said beast seems to have more knowledge than is usual for normal magical beasts. In it's infinite wisdom it decided to search for the main character of the cultivation world to have a cozy and safe place beside him. Our fox will act as a "wise beast" to coast along on the main characters rise to greatness, all for peace, happiness and that amazing napping spot in the sun. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing in first person. Comedic effect between talking vaguely and sounding wise. The cost of heroism: A story more centered around fights and mental health of hired mercenaries/heroes. The world is infected with an eldritch corruption. Humans are trying their best to explore and clear out wilderness and the dungeons hiding in them to establish new cities. Lords seek for hired hands to do the professional work. Thanks to the setting, the story will show how awful pasts are the norm and how pragmatic people became thanks to that. People exchange their sanity for riches, fame and gods acceptance. Interpersonal relationships change drastically and quickly. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing grim scenes/imparting a feeling of how grim the world is. Writing fight scenes. Showing different mental states. Describing their influence on people during fights, walks or even after successful or failed campaigns. Who will be the next powerhouse? : A story about a gaming show, it's host Staan and the different participants. Stereotype characters, stereotype backstories, silly challenges and quizzes. The winner of those challenges gets powerups for their power system. Be it magic, ki, psychic power or anything else imaginable and unimaginable to reach the power of gods. The challenges for myself with this story: A softer tone for storytelling. Making the reader smile and enjoy themselves. A different try at slice of life story. I was left behind on earth as my family conquered another world and enjoys riches, but that's okey because I got a cheat too! : Stereotypical Isekai story parody twisted into an Urban Fantasy story. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing over the top and overdramatic scenarios/scenes Writing in first person. Walking into stereotypical scenarios and making them more dramatic/giving them a twist. Different type of humor.

Knights of the Partition
We like to think there are no monsters. No magic, no gods, nothing waiting in the night but the stars and cold, hard science. It’s a comforting thought. It isn't true. Magic isn't common, mind you. Working forces is difficult in the Age of Man, and gods are limited in the ways they interact with the world. The great monsters of old have mostly been slain, or sealed away. But rare or not, the magic isn't gone. The great Working that protects us from the horrors of the past does not have the power to destroy such things. Instead, it created the Partition, a tapestry of worlds beyond the boundary of our own. There the magic roams, searching for a way to come back. I am a Knight of Avalon. One of the protectors of the Partition. How did I get this job? Poor decisions, mostly.
