《A Solangelo Alphabet》E - Enough!

"Will! Enough!" Nico yelled over the loud sound of the music. "What?" Will yelled back. That was enough. Nico slammed his finger down on the off button on Will's speakers. "What'd ya do that for?" Will asked, puzzled. "That was way too loud!" Nico informed him. Will shrugged and started it back. Nico was about to shut it back off, but stopped quickly when he heard the first note of one of his favorite songs, Demons, by Imagine Dragons. "What?" Will asked, turning the music down. "Huh?"
"I turned the music back on and your eyes, like, light up and you got this weird, yet adorable, look on your face." He said. "What?" Nico asked again. "You like this song!" Will exclaimed accusingly. Nico shook his head. "Yeah you do. I don't know why you hate saying you like music. I can tell you do, it's really not a big deal." Will said. Nico shrugged. "I know." He said simply. "Come on! Just say you like music. What 16 year old doesn't?" Nico shrugged again. "Fine. I like music, my favorite band is Imagine Dragons." Will nodded. "Good. That wasn't so hard." Nico frowned as Will turned the music back up. He started singing along with the music. "Nico!" Will exclaimed. "What?" Nico asked. "You! You're singing! And it's... amazing!" Will turned the music off. Nico turned bright red. "Come on! Please sing." Nico shook his head. "Will..."
"Please?" Will pleaded. Nico sighed. He looked around cabin 13, where they were as usual, and took a deep breath. He reluctantly started singing because he knew that Will, no matter how much he loved him, wouldn't stop asking until he did. "Tu sei il mio soldatino, la ragione per cui vivo. Non ti scordar di me, io vegliero su di te." He glared at Will. "Happy?" He demanded. "What was that?" Will asked. "It's Italian. The song's called Soldatino. Here. Part of it's in English." He took another deep breath. "Close your eyes, I know what you see." He sang. "The darkness is high, and you're in 10 feet deep. But we've survived more terrible monsters than sleep, and you know I'll be here to tell you to breathe. Tu sei il mio soldatino, la ragione per cui vivo. Non ti scordar di me, io vegliero su di te." He looked back at Will, who's mouth was open. "Gods of Olympus, Nico!" He exclaimed. "That was AMAZING!" Nico blushed and smiled a little. "Where'd you learn that?" Will asked. "Bianca used to sing it to me." Nico said quietly. Will just pulled Nico close and hugged him. "Nico, you know I love you, right?" Will asked quietly. "I know." Nico whispered, wrapping his arms around Will, his eyes stinging at the the thought of his older sister. "I love you too." He whispered.

Okay, as of right now, I have like two readers and when I started I said I'd wait for five votes to update, but that's long past. I'm having fun writing this and to those of you who read this and like it, THANKS SO MUCH.
Also, the song Nico was singing is a real song. I just heard it for the first time the other day and it made me cry. It's really good though :) if you want to listen to it, just search 'Soldatino' or 'Nico's Lullaby' on YouTube.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

Beyond Humanity: Lightning Falling and Hook of Rage
Humanity reaches deeper and deeper into space with its starships and Space Cities. Maybe their technology and curiosity has taken them too far? A scientist and an electrician walk down separate paths following the clues and secrets of the powers. Magical powers that let some shatter boulders with their fists and some discharge beams of ice from their palms and more. Everyone is different, and specific mental traits are key. There are many secrets left to discover. A man cloaked by mystery and power works from the shadows, he has been given the tools to ensure humanity’s place in the Universe. The future of humanity, how much is it worth? Beyond Humanity will consist of three novels and all will be published in this sequence of chapters. The chapter POVs will rotate between Beth and Milo but with some guest inclusions of other characters. A new chapter will be published every Sunday, and whenever extra words drip off my fingers.

Jager: The death Angel
Jager, a fearless man, nicknamed son of the devil because of his ruthless cruelty. Pursued by gangsters and police, disgraced by his own family, yet loved by some people as they believed he was doing the right thing, cleaning the garbage from the streets. Not a hero, neither a villain, just a human flesh and blood, accomplishing what governments in years couldn't. However, no matter how strong you are or how fast you move, you are one against an army, and soon or later you will fall on your knees. The time comes for all of us and Jager isn't an exception. Genre: Male lead, anti-hero, a little of LitRPG, Harem, fantasy, romance and reincarnation.(I don't know if I'm going to end this in fantasy but for now the true genres are: Noir, horror action, male lead, anti-hero, gore, assassin mc, contemporary and tragedy) Schedule: Not a fixed one, although I will try to write new chapters every month. Remember this isn't real.
