《Solangelo oneshots》Dead love

Nico was dead. He had been for six hundred years. But due to the stupid rule that your soul can only find rest when you are in the same state as your soulmate. Like the state of the soul. Dead, alive, dying, unborn. Then you also had to meet them. Nico had died as a soldier for a king in Italy. He waited for 6 ages until one faithful day.
Will was in a critical condition. The car crash had got him good. Or bad you could say. He was in a coma and there was about 15% chance that he would survive. The doctors knew that pulling the plug was the best option. It was the only solution.
When you die, your soul separates from your body and takes thoughts, memories and emotions. You see your body as your soul drifts away from it, almost ghostlike.
When this happened to Will, he freaked out. He saw his broken body in the hospital bed, the doctors removing machines all around him and his sister sitting in a corner of the room sobbing heartbreakingly.
Nico felt another soul join 'the wandering' before he saw it. He always felt those moments. The hospital he was looking at didn't often have people that died there. Especially so young, and Nico was there for surprised to see a boy his age, drift away from a body.
Will was trying to get back to his body when a voice behind him spoke: "That won't work, your soul has left your body." A girl with blonde curls was looking at Will, but the weird part was, she was alive. "How can you see me? I thought that that wasn't possible." "It's a rare gift to see the restless souls and not always very enjoyable. I have to ask you, have you met your soulmate?" Will was taken aback by the question. He hadn't really thought about it, but now that he did, realisation hit him. His soul couldn't rest, he had never met his soulmate.

Nico watched from afar, while the boy talked to Annabeth. Annabeth had her gift and often helped new wanderers before Nico took over and explained the parts she couldn't explain. After ten minutes, the boy, and Nico had started to call him Golden boy because his golden aura around his soul, Nico approached the two. he saw Percy entering the park, walking towards Annabeth and he knew that he had to take over soon.
The girl, Annabeth was her name, told Will to go with another soul who could help him learn more. So when Will turned around, there was a boy with a black aura around him waiting paitiently. "Hey my name is Nico. Welcome to the state of 'Wandering'. That sounded better in my head." "I'm Will and thanks.. I guess."
Nico explained to Will what it was like to be a restless soul. he also explained what it looked like when a soul went to rest. " The aura starts to glow brighter and brighter until it's almost blinding. The rest, I don't know, i've only seen the outside." "Well I guess you'll find out soon enough, you're kind of glowing."Will looked at Nico, who was to stunned to speak. The latter looked at his hands and then back up to Will. "Who is my soulmate and why is this happening now?" "Maybe it's Annabeth, o wait she isn't....."Nico interrupted him by shouting: "You're glowing, Will. What the Hades is going on here?"
At that exact moment, a white light flashed before their eyes and the next thing the two knew, they were standing in a corridor, standing in front of what looked like a hotelroom. Instead of a room number however, there was a sign that said:
Nico Di Angelo&William Solace
"What just happened?"Will's voice came from his body. Nico looked at him a second time. The blonde had his body back. Normal, with no wounds and he was dressed in a pair of white converse, jeans and a white buttondown shirt.
"I don't know." Nico sounded stunned, and Will looked at him to find the raven haired wearing a pair of white converse, jeans, and a white buttondown shirt. Will looked at himself and discovered that he was wearing the exact same thing.
"I think our souls have found peace together."

Dungeon Core? Nah, I Think I'll Just Get Super-Wealthy Instead
The cycle is simple enough. A Dungeon Core is born from a wayward soul. It seeks power and agency, and works to accumulate wealth to fuel its power, in turn using this power to accumulate further wealth. Inevitably, the mind is lost as desperation and ambition drive it to commit darker and darker acts. Shortly thereafter, the adventurers arrive to quell the core. This is a tale that has repeated itself countless times throughout history: all cores desire power. And yet, this core seems to have it backwards. It doesn't want to rule the world. It has no desire to enslave or conquer. No, this core doesn't want to be a warlord, a villain, or a tyrant. It wants to start a core-poration. After all, when money is power, what greater weapon is there than capitalism? Join a dungeon core that wastes an absurd amount of time and effort trying not to be evil on his journey to earn fat stacks against all odds. -This is a 'Dungeon Core' type fiction with LitRPG elements in it. The start may be fairly slow compared to the average. Expect roughly 2.5k per chapter. -I'm only a hobbyist writer. As such, there may be the occasional error and pacing may be poorly-handled. Constructive criticism is alway welcome. I'm just here to write stuff that makes my brain release the g o o d c h e m i c a l s. -I am trashy and I like monsterpeople so you can expect an awful lot of those as we get further in. Thank you for reading this far, and I hope you enjoy.
