Nico was lying on his bed, when he heard a knocking on the door. It was Jason. "Hey, it's time for dinner. Are you ok? How were your days in the infirmary?"
Nico sighed. "Jason, I don't know what to do. You know, I mean, I really like Will but he's so close with that Sam guy. And I don't even know if he's gay anyway."
He sighed again.
Jason stayed quiet for a minute, then he said: "So if you want to forget him, then keep distracting yourself i guess?? Decorate your cabin new and don't stress yourself out."
Nico nodded. "I think I'm going to ask Annabeth if she could help me. Let's go eat?"
Together, they went to the pavilion. Jason sat at the Zeus - Table and Nico jumped on a chair at the Hades one. He was alone, but didn't mind it. Because he was bored, he looked around to watch the other campers chatting and eating and laughing.
Suddenly, he was very happy that he stayed at Camp Half - Blood. He was totally sure that he was going to find nice friends. And he had already a few- Percy and Tyson at the Poseidon - table, Piper, Jason, Annabeth and- he stopped. At the Apollo-table sat Will and looked at him. He didn't even looked embarrassed when they locked eyes. Will just smiled, stood up and walked over to him.
Nicos heart stopped and he didn't knew what to do and when Will finally stood next to him, the two boys just stared at eachother and didn't say a word for what felt like forever.
Finally, Nico made a "cough" and cleared his throat and found the strength to smile at Will. "Hey sunshine. What's up?"
Wills smile got deeper and he threw himself on the bank next to Nico. The son of Hades felt a blush crawling up his neck but he ignored it and took a deep breath.

"Jason told me that you want to decorate your cabin new", said Will and Nico cursed the son of Zeus silently. Wasn't Jason the one who'd said that he should distract himself?
"Uhm... Yeah. I mean, have you seen it from inside? It's gross. Not very good to think positive, it's all black and spooky, I mean, I like spooky as I'm the son of Hades and all, but... Yeah. I should stop talking." Now he was blushing really, what the hell was he talking about?
But Will didn't seemed to mind and answered: "Sooo... I was thinking if I could, maybe, only if you'd like to, help you... I mean, my dad is the god of art, so if you need any help in design, just... ask me."
Nico was surprised. But in a positive way. "Sure! I planned on asking Annabeth, as her mom is the mother of architecture, but if you want to- of course!"
Will grinned. "Cool man!"
He hold up his hand for a high five and Nico highfived him. When their hands touched he felt a spark on his spine. Gladly he wasn't Jason and his clothes weren't on fire now.
Will didn't looked like he wanted to leave Nicos table. Although it was against the rules, he grabbed a bunch of grapes from Nicos plate and threw one into the air. Nico laughed and applauded when Will caught it with his mouth. Some people were looking at them and looked quite surprised, propably because they didn't see Nico smile very often. Nico didn't care. He felt good and he was okay with other people noticing.
"You know, I really like your smile", said Will, "you should smile more often."
Nico blushed again. "Thanks! I hope staying at the camp was a good decision and I'll have more things to smile about."

"Of course you'll have!" said Will loudly and some other campers gave him strange looks. Will blushed a bit, which looked cute.
Nico could've slapped himself for that thought. He wanted to distract himself, Will was propably straight and just wanted to be friends with him.
On the other hand, Nico didn't knew what he wanted himself. It was obvious that he was developing a crush on Will, but he kept pushing that away.
He didn't wanted go get hurt again.
