《Solangelo》Part three woah

"Okay, wait a second. So you're telling me that you're happy because a crappy son of Hades wants to stay in a fricking infirmary for longer? I didn't know that it's so easy to make you happy."
"Nico, shut up. You know exactly that many people actually want to be your friend so could you please stop acting like a dam dramaqueen? I got happy about that fact because I like you and I'd like to get to know you but you're acting so annoying that it's really really hard for me!"
If Nico could've glown when he was happy, he would've shined like a light bulb right now. Will wanted to get to know him. He liked him. He didn't know what to say. The chance that he got hurt again was pretty high and Nico was scared, but Will seemed different. He could propably trust him.
Nico cleared his throat and mumbled: "You know... You asked what I told Percy... Uhm, well, I told him that I... had a crush on him. I'm, uhm, long story short story- I'm gay."
Silence.
Both of the boys didn't say a word.
Then Will started glowing so bright that Nico could see the whole room- they were standing in a cave. That explained why Nico couldn't see any stars. The walls of the cave were kind of wet and the glow of Will was reflecting the drops in all different colours. They were standing on the shore of a small lake inside the cave. The water was crystal clear and the ground covered with sparkling stones, like crystals. Will made it sparkle even more and the whole thing was beautiful. But Nico wasn't concentrating on that.
"Why the heck are you glowing like that, Solace?" he asked angrily and stared Will into the eyes. He expected him to look away, like everyone always did, but again he learned that Will was different. He wasn't even blinking when he stared back. With his glow, Nico could see different shades of blue in his eyes. They were brightly blue like the morning sky and deep like the midnight. And inside, there were many, many small sparks of yellow, that seemed to appear and then disappear again. Nico was fascinated. Also, Will smelled good, like vanilla and sun and summer.

Nico found himself slowly leaning in and Will doing the same. He came closer and closer... and suddenly Nico woke up.
He was lying in his bed in the infirmary. Outside, the sun was shining. It was just a dream.
"Are you kidding me?", Nico mumbled to himself and next to him, Sam said: "Oh, he is alive!"
Nico turned his head around and saw the son of Aphrodite lying in the bed next to him. "Why did you say 'are you kidding me'?" Sam asked and Nico, who was extremely confused, shook his head. "I... I had a weird dream."
Sam grinned. "I can tell. You were talking in your sleep."
Nico went pale. "What- what was I saying?"
"Oh, just casual things... I heard the name Will Solace", Sam's grin got even bigger and Nico blushed so quickly that he felt like an oven. "Oh. Uhm. I'm..."
"Nevermind", said Sam and added: "We should tell Will that you're awake."
With these words, he rang a little bell next to his bed. Only a few moments later Will appeared and smiled when he saw Nico. "Death boy! You're finally awake!" he said and Sam interrupted: "He was dreaming of youuu!"
Will and Nico both blushed. While Will was asking: "What?", Nico had the urge to throw something at the son of Aphrodite. "I think I was dreaming that we had a fight. Or that we're arguing. Just like always.", he explained Will and maybe the son of Apollo looked disappointed for a second, but Nico propably just imagined that.
"Imma get you some food", said Will and left the room. Angrily, Nico turned towards Sam.
"Man, that was embarrassing! Why did you have to tell him that?!"

"Neeks, it's obvious that you two like eachother. I'm a son of Aphrodite, I know these kinds of things. Will wants to protect you and be friends with you, don't you get it?"
Nico was confused. And scared. Also, he didn't know what to say, so he replied: "Yeah, but I'm not with him. Leave me alone please. You don't know me."
Sam looked disappointed but he didn't say anything. Nico lay his head on the pillow and thought of his dream. Maybe the dream - Will was right and he should open up to more people. He made the decision to stay in Camp Half Blood, he should get some friends. Although- maybe Will Solace meant a little more to him than just friends.

The Card Thief of Culnivar
Deep with the cozy kingdom of Daeton, among the generation-old farmlands and villages, a young farmer’s daughter stumbles upon a dead man. His elaborate clothing has been torn to ribbons, yet his skin remains unblemished. His face is peaceful, and tucked into the hand lying across his chest can be seen a solitary playing card. He is a Ludum Haeres. The last remnant of a Summoner. Numbered among those few capable of changing their destinies. The unseen rulers of the world known as Vesperia, and one of the most powerful creatures in existence. The woman knows none of this. And so, she picks up the card... This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.
