Chaehyun: Yesterday, I was in US, and I've recently been to London, Sydney, and Japan

Chaehyun: Did you want more?

Bella: I was able to notice your character easily because of the hard works that you did before. This is a personal question. What had you done during the 4 years as a trainee?

Chaehyun: During the 4 years? As I learned to dance and sing for the first time when I entered the company. I learned from the basics something like "you are an alto or soprano". They first find an adequate vocal range for me and assign me songs to sing. Telling me "try this song or that song"

Chaehyun: When I first arrive in Seoul, I thought I was speaking in a Seoul accent. Talking like this, I thought I was speaking in a Seoul accent. Listening to me talking, my friend beside me kept laughing so I was wondering "why is she laughing?". She told me that I was saying "unni unni" in a Busan accent, not a Seoul accent. That's when I realized that there is a problem with my accent. Since then I was like a robot, changing accents according to the inputs. This eventually led me to talk in a Seoul accent

Bella: During the trainee period, there must have been moments where co-trainees debuted earlier than you. Of course, you will congratulate them during those moments but I assume that sometimes you felt down about it so I think that the mentality is very important. In terms of that, how is your mentality?

Chaehyun: Me?

Bella: When you witnessed those moments

Chaehyun: I am not really influenced by others debuting earlier than me

Chaehyun: I don't really get stressed by external factors

Bella: As I am a person with thoughts, if I were you, I would be thinking "What I am I doing right now" while I am congratulating others. So you are not like that at all right?

Chaehyun: Yeah, not at all. Maybe it's because I was young back then I was thinking "I have my own way so I failed to debut right now", "If I were to work harder then I would have the opportunity faster". This made me practice right away instead of dwelling on the debut failure
