Bella: Your voice is... how should I put this... very bland like a stone-plate cooked egg

Bella: You've been singing powerful songs with your stone egg voice. I wonder what kind of efforts you made to manage to do so

Seungmin: I actually had a somewhat thin voice in the beginning. I tried hard cuz most of our songs are rock-based or hip-hop, either way very strong

Bella: Yeah seemed pretty intense

Seungmin: So I practiced mainly to fill up the rythm and the bottom and trained to be a certain type of peron to sing our song and then be a different guy when I sing solo keeping them separate when I practice

Bella: That's right you have to stick to the team's vibe while maintaining your individuality

Seungmin: Right

Bella: It must be hard on you to manage two characters at once

Seungmin: I've never really had the chance to sing a full song alone so it's a great opportunity for me

Seungmin: I actually wanted to sing this to our fans sometime or other cuz when this song was released I was really touched by the lyrics and everything so I've been practicing in secret. But it was personally hard for me to sing this because the lyrics are so sad and you really gotta be absorbed so it was really hard to express that emotion. I concentrated a lot just now, too

Bella: Seems to me you expressed that emotion perfectly

Seungmin: Ah, thanks

Bella: Almost as if you went through a break up recently and got totally wasted

Seungmin: Nah nah, don't start it now BELLA.

Bella: Okay, okay, feeling your feelings... but with self-control... ah I loved it. Your ability to express those feelings is immaculate. You said that you were touched by the lyrics, have you been through something similar? Like "let's not regret this" "our breakup was something beautiful" and then you turn around, heart-broken. The saddest breakup is actually breaking up with a straight face. When you cry you show all your emotions

Seungmin: Right... so you've done that?

Bella: I mean... I heard it from people so I can say it! I've done in savage way not this kind of way.

(Laugh)

Seungmin: I don't think I've been through anything devastating like that, I saw it on k-dramas... I'm probably gonna be really depressed when that happens

Bella: I've heard that you're greedy when it comes to vocals

Seungmin: My song, whatever it may be when people hear my song, the memory of that specific moment when they look back at the time 'I had this memory with me', 'I listened to SEUNGMIN sing with this good memory'. I want nothing else than people to feel this way so I always keep that in mind. Everyone here as well... I practice with that in mind everytime and I probably won't be able to reach to everyone's heart but I've been thinking a lot about making approaches to as many people as possible

Bella: I can relate and I'm excited to hear your other songs. What do you have prepared for us next?

Seungmin: The next song is my favorite song in karaokes
