《Supernatural Imagines》Mistletoe?- Cas

You weren't sure what Sam put in that eggnog, but everyone was drunk. And I mean drunk. You had kept your distance from the stuff, not wanting to miss out on the drunken clumsiness from your best friends. Not to mention the angels. Balthazar, Gabriel, and Cas were there too and you could've sworn they were drunk as well.
You were sitting on the couch in between Cas and Bobby, watching Dean drunkenly dance to the Christmas music that was blasting. You were all having a good laugh, watching him stumble over his own feet with the biggest smile plastered on his face. Jingle Bell Rock faded out and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree filled the room, and Dean's face grew brighter, if that was possible.
His sluggish dancing became more energized and laughs and hiccups filled the air as well. It was all in good fun, until Dean went for the Christmas tree in the corner of the room.
You untangled yourself from Sam's legs sprawled on half the couch, and went to intercept Dean. "Whoa there, Deano. I think it's time to get you to bed," you said, supporting his body before he face planted.
"No no no it's okay, she's been starin' at me all night.." Dean slurred, sluggishly trying to fight against your grip.
"Okay buddy, if you say so," you chuckled at his drunken state, walking him down the halls of the bunker.
"You know who was starin'?" He asked through a hiccup. You lugged him through his doorway, and practically threw him on his bed.
"Who?" You sighed, stretching your arms.
"Cas, at you..." Dean mumbled, rubbing his face into his pillow, but you froze. You couldn't help but feel butterflies in your stomach. It'd been far too long that you've been crushing on the angel.

"I-I don't think he was..." you kind of giggled, trying to hide the blush on your cheeks. "You're too drunk to have seen anything anyway."
Dean sprung up from his spot looking hurt. "Hey I know what I saw! He was blushing even worse than you are..." He gradually laid back down, his voice quieting.
"Alright, alright. You need to go to sleep.." you replied, rolling your eyes a bit. Walking out of his room, Dean called out after you.
"Remember protection!"
"Shut up Dean!" You grumbled, flipping his light off. Sighing, you walked down the hallway back towards the blaring music. Turning into the doorway leading to the party, someone stopped you. You would recognize the piercing blue eyes even if you weren't pressed against him in the small door frame.
"I-is Dean alright? He consumed a lot of alcohol," Cas asked uneasily, like he was trying to fill the space.
"Yeah, he'll be okay. His hangover should be pretty entertaining.." you smirked, trying not to think about how close the two of you were.
"Oh, okay..." Cas avoided eye contact with you and you thought back to what Dean said. "When he was sober, he told me this should work," Cas added suddenly, and you were a bit confused. Then, an adorable smile spread across his face, finally looking you in the eye. "Look up," he finally said, and you did, not able to help the smile on your own face.
A little branch of mistletoe hung above the two of you. Glancing back at Cas, he was looking at the ground with the cutest rosy blush on his cheeks. He looked back up to you, and the act of your eyes meeting made him nervous.
"I-I know this is sudden, a-and you have every right not to-" you cut his nervous rambling short by grabbing his trench coat, and pulling his lips to yours.

He was tense with surprise at first, but he softened at your touch. His hands instinctively went to your waist and held the two of you even closer.
"WOOO GET SOME CAS!" the two of you broke away when Sam drunkenly yelled from the couch. You couldn't help but laugh and roll your eyes, and Cas smiled too.

The Solstice Wars
In the grey-cloaked cityscape of modern London, student William Whiteswift has two secrets: the Fae walk among humanity, and they are just as vulnerable as us. His childhood was filled with them; they spawned nightmares and episodes, dreams and obsessions. The nightmares remain, of course, but the fae are his normal. Now, he heals them, for William is gifted. When he saves a faerie -- a humanoid fae -- from an injury he can’t explain, William is forced to let her stay. Finally, he may have taken on more than he can handle; Ainsel could uproot his life in seconds. Instead, she cracks a Pandora’s box of mysteries: someone just flipped her home on its head. And because of that, she did something unspeakable. And somehow, she doesn’t want to hurt him. The longer she stays, though, the crueler his nightmares grow. Worse, governments hide secrets, too: they know of faeries. To them, all fae are monsters fueled by solstices and equinoxes. As the autumn equinox approaches, the culling agency COURT hurries to track Ainsel down. With teams across the United Kingdom and Ireland -- iron-strong despite the region’s history -- they are nearing success. A world away, their country wounded, the faerie leaders hunger for justice. In the looming shadows of war and of Ainsel’s mistake, can a human and a faerie protect each other against their own kind? Could their plight mend rifts between bitter nations and bitterer people? Or will it, like past attempts at peace, shatter? Quick note! I hope you all enjoy the Irish (Irish Gaelic) words here and there! All are defined or explained within the text. This is my chance to show off speaking it at least somewhat decently. Still learning. ;D -K
