~Farmhouse~
Gordon dips the knife into a jar of blood. Lenore was tied to a chair nearby, covered in cuts, pale and sickly. He circles around her, slices the bloody knife across her chest. She groans. Sam, Dean, and (M/n) walk in.
"Sam, Dean, (M/n). Come on in."
"Hey, Gordon. What's going on?"
"Just poisoning Lenore here with some dead man's blood. She's going to tell us where all her little friends are, aren't you? Wanna help?" Gordon said a little to happy.
"Like hell she will." (M/n) growled.
"Look, man-" Dean tried to say.
"Grab a knife. I was just about to start in on the fingers." He dragged the knife across her arm, veins trace away from the cut.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hey, let's all just chill out."
"I'm completely chill."
"Gordon, put the knife down." Sam told the man, he steps towards Gordon, but is stopped by his brother.
"Sounds like it's Sam here needs to chill."
"Just step away from her, all right?"
"You're right. I'm wasting my time here. This bitch will never talk. Might as well put her out of her misery." He pulls out a larger knife. "I just sharpened it, so it's completely humane." He turned towards the girl in the chair, (M/n) steps to block him.
"Gordon, we're letting her go."
The man points the knife at the boy's chest, stopping him.
"You're not doing a damn thing. Don't think I wont cut your head off too." Gordon warned, only warning a chuckle.

"Is that a promise? Cuz it's been awhile since I got to play with a human." At that point, Dean realized the demon was willing to break his promise and kill another human. And the Winchester could see murder in the others eyes.
"Hey, hey, hey, Gordon, let's talk about this."
"What's there to talk about? It's like I said, Dean. No shades of gray."
"Yeah, I hear ya. And I know how you feel."
"Do you?"
"That vampire that killed your sister deserved to die, but this one..."
Gordon laughed. "Killed my sister? That filthy fang didn't kill my sister. It turned her. It made her one of them. So I hunted her down, and I killed her myself."
"You did what?"
"It wasn't my sister anymore, it wasn't human. I didn't blink. And neither would you."
"So you knew all along, then? You knew about the vampires, you knew they weren't killing anyone. You knew about the cattle. And you just didn't care." Sam said slowly.
"Care about what? A nest of vampires suddenly acting nice? Taking a little time out from sucking innocent people? And we're supposed to but that? Trust me. Doesn't change what they are. And I can prove it." He grabbed Sam's arm, slices the knife across it, then lays the knife against his throat, dragging him towards Lenore. Dean pulled out his gun.
"Let him go. Now!"
"Relax. If I wanted to kill him, he'd already be on the floor. Just making a little point."
Gordon holds the cut on Sam's arm over the girl, so the blood drips on her face. She hisses, fangs extended.
"Hey!"
"You think she's so different? Still want to save her? Look at her. They're all the same. Evil, bloodthirsty."
Lenore controls herself, retracting her fangs, and turns her face away. "No. No."

"You hear her, Gordon?" (M/n) said.
"No! No!"
Sam pushed the knife away from his throat, and pushes Gordon away.
"We're done here."
"Sam, get her out of here."
"Yeah."
Sam picks up Lenore in his arms, Gordon takes a step towards him, but Dean still has the gun trained on him. And (M/n)'s eyes were trained on the male.
"Uh-uh. Uh-uh! Gordon, I think you and I've got some things to talk about."
"Get out of my way."
"Sorry."
"You're not serious."
"I'm having a hard time believing it too, but I know what I saw,. If you want those vampires, you gotta go through me." Gordon nods. He looks at his knife, then jams it into the table.
"Fine."
Dean looks at the knife, looks at his gun. He pulls the clips out of the gun and sets it aside. Gordon punches him, they start fighting. Gordon grabs the knife again. Dean groans. They are fairly well matched.
"What are you doing, man? You doing this for a fang? Come on, Dean, we're on the same side here." Gordon taunted him.
"I don't think so, you sadistic bastard."
Gordon throws Dean across the room. "You're not like your brother. You're a killer. Like me." The demon showed up in front of the man, he grabbed his neck and slammed him in the floor. (M/n)'s eyes turned pitch black. Outside, Sam and Lenore noticed the wind picked up, blowing hard.
"I've tussled with more threatening beings then you." (M/n) grabbed Gordons shirt and threw him in the wall, and punched him hard in the face, knocking the man out. Then picked him up and slammed him in the chair and tied him to it.
"Remember that next time you wanna try and kill a knight of hell bitch." (M/n)'s eyes tuned normal and the wind outside died down.
Dean realized he didn't see (M/n) fight, but it was (D/n) fighting. And sadly, he knew that was him going easy on the man.
~Later~
Sam returns to find Gordon in the chair, tied. Dean was pacing. (M/n) was sitting on a desk, the knife in his hand, twirling it, Gordon and the boy staring each other down.
"Did I miss anything?" Sam asked.
"Nah, not much. Lenore get out okay?" Sam could tell his brother was a bit shaken up by what happened.
"Yeah. All of 'em did.."
"Then I guess our work here is done. How you doin', Gordy? Gotta tinkle yet?" Gordon looks at him. "All right. Well, get comfy. We'll call someone in two or three days, have them come out, untie you."
(M/n) got up and walked behind the man and jammed the knife into the table.
"Ready to go?" Sam asked.
"One second." The boy grabbed Gordon's face roughly. "If I ever see your face again, I will make you eat your own insides. Got me?" The man spit in the boys face. (M/n) punched him, knocking the chair to the floor. Sam cleared his throat. "Okay. I'm good now. We can go." The demon walked out, wiping his face.
They exit the farmhouse. (M/n) getting in the car.
"I wish we never took this job. It's jacked everything up."
"What do you mean?"
"Think about all the hunts we went on, Sammy, our whole lives."
"Okay."
"What if we killed things that didn't deserve killing? You know? I mean, the way dad raised us..."
"Dean, after what happened to mom, dad did the best he could."
"I know he did. But the man wasn't perfect. And the way he raised us, to hate those things, and man, I hate 'em. I do. But...I think we got something big on our hands."
"What do you mean?" Sam asked.
"Ever heard of a Knight of Hell?"

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

Voidsong (A NaNoWriMo 2018 winner)
Synopsys: The Empire thought humanity died, and forgot all about it. The Empire is mistaken. A Note From the Author: This story was written as a National Novel Writing Month 2018 entrant. As such, its entire 50,000+ word length was written between November 1, 2018 and November 31, 2018. Overall, I would consider this no more than a polished draft. In that vein, the chapters have no names, only numbers. Special thanks to Chronus on youtube for answering my questions on NATO radio procedures! My Apologies to the Finnish Language, which I have abused in (probably) unforgivable ways to create Twisted Empire names. If anyone is interested, break the names up by commas and toss them into your favorite translation program (I used Google Translate, and tried to avoid umlauts and other accents) for some semi bilingual boni. If I got something wrong (and I know I did… somewhere…) let me know over on reddit and I will see what I can do to fix the mistake. Lyrics, where included, are cited in footnotes.
