Nico

Nico woke up sleepily, warmer than he was used to being. He rolled over and found a boy with tanned skin, and blond hair that covered his features laying on his stomach, his bare back poking above the thick blanket.

Nico reached a hand over and placed it on his boyfriend's unscarred back, thinking briefly of all the scars he himself had, not just on his back, but his chest, arms, legs and hands as well, and wondering why this happy boy would love someone so scarred and fragile. Why a Son of Apollo—the sun god—would date the Son of Hades—God of the underworld. Will Solace mumbled something unintelligible, and pulled Nico closer to him.

"Will," He hissed urgently. "You need to get back to your cabin before breakfast!" But he snuggled into the hold, not wanting to let him go back to his cabin.

"I don't want to." Will moaned, pulling Nico closer—if it was even possible— and shifting under the blankets to steal their warmth.

"C'mon Will, you have to. You're their head counsellor and you actually have like, twenty other siblings. We're not even allowed to be in this cabin together! Not alone, anyway."

Will shifted enough that he could look at his boyfriend. "Actually, the rule is that a girl and a boy can't be in a cabin alone. Neither of us are girls. And since when are you such a stickler for the rules?" The taller boy asked.

"Since the last time Chiron came down to see if I was still alive and found the both of us here!" He hissed, stifling a giggle. Will pressed his lips to Nico's. He kissed back, trying to awaken his boyfriend from sleepiness.

It only made him want to stay in the warm bed with his warm boyfriend and cuddle for the rest of the day. Not that he'd ever admit that to Will, but he had a sneaking suspicion Will knew more than he should. "What day and time is it?"

"It's Saturday, the twenty-first of oNovember. The time is seven am, and if you don't get out of bed, I'm going to tell someone about your obsession with Dora." Nico threatened.

"Alright, alright, I'll be up in a minute, just give me some time to adjust, it's freaking cold in here." Will grumbled. Nico smirked and got up to find a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.

He sat on the edge of the bed and squirmed into his shirt, the started pulling on his jeans. He felt an arm snake around his wrist and pull him a bit towards Will.

"So... Cold... Too weak... Need warmth." He mumbled, half awake. Nico chuckled.

"You're more pathetic than a potted plant in the middle of winter." He teased, turning to give Will a kiss on the cheek. Instead, he got a kiss on the lips. But Nico wasn't complaining. He rather liked kissing Will. His boyfriend was a very good kisser.

Will groaned as he rolled off the bed, landing on the floor with a thump, wrapped in blankets. Nico peered over the side of the bed and grinned, rolling his eyes. Stiffly, Will untangled himself from the blankets and three them back on the bed. He wore nothing but thin black boxers, and you would have thought he'd been drinking; very disheveled hair, puffy eyes, with enormous black bags under them. Actually, no, he just looked like he woke up not two minutes ago, which, of course, he did.

"You might wanna brush your hair down." Nico muttered as a tuft a blond sprung out behind his ear. He nodded.

"I know," he said with a yawn, rubbing his eyes. "You should probably do the same." Nico could easily tell Will wasn't a nighttime person. The two had stayed up till early this morning last night, and the effects were now starting to take place on him. On himself, they had almost no effect, but Will was not meant for the night, just as Nico was not meant for the morning. They were opposites in many ways, but they were also the same on just as much. He shuffled over to Will as he fumbled around almost blindly for his shirt and pants.

"They're on the couch ti amore." Nico told him. He blushed and made his way over to the couch where we had been watching a movie last night and pulled on his shirt and pants.

"Where did my sweater go?" He asked looking around. Nico blushed this time. Will have the pale boy a looks "Can I have my sweater back Nico?"

He shook his head. "You won't need it." Will have him a confused look. "I'll shadow-travel you to your cabin so nobody will notice, then I'll meet you at the dining pavilion we can grab breakfast and I'll shadow-travel us back here." Nico explained.

Will seemed hesitant. "That's going to take a lot of energy, are you sure you can do it?" His blue eyes held worry and such care that Nico wasn't sure what to say other than,

"It's only three jumps. I'll be okay." Nico replied, waving a hand. Slowly, Will nodded and slipped out the door quietly.

Will

When they finally got back to the Hades cabin, Nico looked like he was going to pass out. So Will set his plate on the coffee table and took the one in his boyfriends hand, and asked his magical cup to fill up with lemon-flavoured Gatorade, Nico's favourite. The taller boy forced him to drink it all, and then sat down across from him.

"So," he asked, taking a bite of omelette. "Where did you put my sweater, anyway?"

"It's on the couch. I'm not entirely surprised you didn't see it, since it's a pretty dark sweater, but I think next time you should put it somewhere it won't blend in." He replied, chewing on the warm sausage roll. Will nodded.

"Yeah, I probably will." He agreed. Nico smiled. Gods, he had a beautiful smile.

"So what do you wanna do today?" Nico asked, taking another bite of the sausage roll.

Will shrugged. "Watch a movie. Binge on junk food. Whatever." Nico raised a brow.

"Binge on junk food? Well there's four words I never thought I'd hear come out of your mouth." He commented.

"It's not something I do everyday, Nico. It's unhealthy, but it's easy to balance it out. So I let myself binge on junk food every once in awhile." He replied with a shrug.

A faint smile played on his boyfriends thin lips, and he said, "Alright, so we've got that part down. The problem is, what movie are we gonna watch?"

Will hummed. "What do you wanna watch?" He asked. Nico shrugged.

"I dunno. I always liked Horror films." He replied with a shrug. Will hated horror movies. The last time he watched one, he'd had nightmares for the next three weeks. He must've gone pale because Nico made an adorable face.

"Not a fan of horror movies, Solace?" He teased. Will shook his head quietly. Nico chuckled lightly. "That's alright. We can watch something else then." Relief flooded through him, and he nodded.

"What about if we watch a really old movie? Like, from the seventies or something?" He suggested. Nico hesitated.

"If I tell you something, can you promise to keep it a secret?" He asked warily. Will nodded in confusion.

"Yeah..."

"Swear it on the Styx?"

"I swear on the river Styx that I won't tell anyone whatever it is you're about to tell me." Will promised.

"I happen to love cheesy old romance movies." Nico blurted, his eyes wide. Will's eyes widened. "The ones from the seventies and eighties. And I can't say I hate the Titanic." Will's eyes were the size of drachmas, and Nico's pale skin was flushed with colour for once.

Will lunged forward, over the coffee table and kissed his boyfriend. When they pulled apart, he murmured. "This is why I love you. You're so full of surprises, there's always something more to find out." His eyes glinted in the morning sun.

Nico smiled for the second time this morning. The blush on his cheeks was cherry red, but it didn't matter to Will as Nico got up and came over to him, then sat down beside him and kissed him. He's a good kisser. Will thought to himself. He smiled into the touch and kissed back.

The two of them stayed that way for a long time, and when they finally pulled apart, they were both out of breath. Nico leaned his forehead against Will's, his nose not two centimetres from Will's. He was breathing heavily, but it was quiet. Both their eyes were closed, and the tingling feeling of Nico's lips against his lingered. Usually it was Will kissing Nico, but Will had managed to figure out some parts of Nico. He had figured out enough of his boyfriend's heart to know that when Nico took things into his own hands, it meant he really did love Will. Or it meant some monsters were gonna die. Either way, Will loved both sides of him because really, you can only have one personality. Not two, not three, one. And with Nico, sometimes it seemed like he was a different person, but really he was just a protective little boy who didn't want to hurt anyone, but would do anything for the people he loved. And, considering the kiss they just shared, Will supposed he was a very lucky guy to have Nico Di Angelo as his boyfriend.
