nico stared, then sighed. sitting down. a groan of thanks escaped the other four as they dropped to the ground. "not to long." nico grumbled. settling back against a tree. he however had to give in when only after a short minute. everyone was asleep. percy holding annabeth to his chest. frank curled up on leos lap as a bulldog. leo snoring quietly against a tree.

nico sighed quietly and took watch, fighting away his own tiredness well into the sunrise. failing the war as he passed out at sunrise.

percy awoke again to leo screaming in startle and warmth surrounding them as leo set himself on fire. lots of hissing coming from the trees.

"what happened?" percy asked as he jumped up, sword in hand. "i-i felt a cold hand on me! i reacted without thinking!" leo stated, hands up and shaking. his hair and hands on fire and eyes wide.

"who. are. you?!" a voice screamed from the shade of a tree. the four demigods forming a circle, weapons drawn. "they smell of blood." anotther voice growled out darkly. nico no where in sight.
