☀️☀️Wills pov☀️☀️
As the emposia turned on us Nico raised his sword and the emposia pulled out a knife. That was new. I thought Nico could handle this and I couldn't help him so I jumped over the counter to the boy who was about to call 9-1-1 but I stole the phone and whipped it across the room
"What the hell!" The boy yelled distracting Nico which led to him getting his arm sliced open and he yelled out in pain
"NICO!" I yelled, my eyes filled with worry as I watched him
"I'm fine," he said and kept fighting.
I turned to the boy
"What's your name," I asked him
"Why would I tell you that, and who are you!" He exclaimed hysterically
"Ok I don't know if you know this but you're a demigod, you are half mortal and half God," I explained to him
"As in, like, Jesus and God?"
"No, the Greek gods" he looked up at Nico still fighting
"Ok who are you and what is that?" He said pointing at the empousia
"At least tell me your name," I said
"Cody," he says warily
"Ok, I'm Will and over there," I said pointing over at Nico, "Is Nico, my friend," I finished
"I'm not stupid," Cody stated dully
"Ok whatever he's my boyfriend,"
"And are you-"
"Yes we're demigods but don't say it out loud or you'll attract more monsters"
"Is that a monster?" Cody asked pointing at the empousia
"Ya that's a empousia, it's sort of like a vampire," he looked at me in shock taking it all in when Nico yelled out in pain and sliced the emposia in half.
"Nico!" I yelled and ran over to him as he fell to the ground. I kicked the emposia dust away and then dropped to the ground. He had a bad cut on his shoulder and his torso was bleeding. I removed his hand from his side and pressed my hands to it trying my hardest to heal it.

"Cody go over to our booth and bring my bag over, quickly!" I yelled
I kept pressure on Nico's wound,
"I-I'm fine," Nico said breathily
"No you're not," I said. Cody handed me my bag and I rustled through to get the bag of ambrosia cubes. I found it and grabbed one.
"Here," I passed the cube to Nico and he put it in his mouth
"What is that?" Cody asked
"Ambrosia, food of the gods. It heals us pretty well but if we eat to much we could burst into flames, and if mortals eat it they will die,"
"Cool"
"Ya, could you get me the roll of gauze from my bag," I asked keeping pressure on the wound. He grabbed it out and passed it to me. I then turned to Nico who's eyes were closed tightly. I wrapped his torso with the gauze and then his shoulder which wasn't as bad.
"Why do you have all of this stuff!" Cody asked while looking through my bag at all of my healing supplies.
"Well we are demigods as you know and he is a child of the big three, so we get attacked easily,"
"Who are your parents?"
"My dad is Apollo and Nico's dad is Hades" I said
"Wow, who's my parent?" He asked
"You haven't been claimed so we don't know who your parent is yet," I looked at Nico who sat up looking better
"How are you feeling?" I asked
"Better," he replied honestly this time. I helped him stand up and he dusted himself off with his good arm.
"We better bring him too our place," Nico whispered to me
"Ya, but how will we get him to camp," I asked

As we kept our quiet conversation going, Cody looked at us with curiosity.
"Ok Cody, you have to come with us to our house so we can talk more about this," I said making up my mind
"Ok," he said easily
"But what about his other parent, shouldn't we tell them?" Nico asked and Codys face fell
"I don't have any," he said sadly
"My real mother lives in Southern California and couldn't take care of me. after years of bad parents I ran away and I have been living by myself since," wait mother in California, I have had a sibling that we had to put up for adoption.
"What's your real last name?" I asked slowly and unsteadily
"Why," he asked
"Just tell me." I demanded with force
"It's Solace,"

The Doormat Villainess – Adrianne
A villainess is a character who has always been diametrically opposed to the heroine of a romance drama. What makes a person a good villainess? The fact that she's unabashedly beautiful and charismatic, yet also rotten inside? The fact that she's incredibly loathsome, greedy, and selfish? That she's reasonably strong enough to be a hurdle, yet ultimately powerless in the face of a determined heroine? That despite all these character flaws, a Villainess's greatest virtue is unwilling to give up until the last of their breath, in pursuit of her personal desire? If those are the hallmark of a successful Villainess. Then, I might be the wrong person to play that role. Also on Scribblehub (Profile)
