《Solangelo》Chapter 9

☀️☀️Wills pov☀️☀️
It's been a week since I had seen Nico and it has been torture! I feel like a lovesick teen girl.
It was Monday morning when I decided what to do. I walked to the big house to talk to Chiron.
KNOCK
KNOCK
KNOCK
Chiron opened the door, in his wheelchair.
"Hello Will, what do you need?" He asked calmly.
"It's Nico, his father sent him to high school but he could be in danger!" I said hysterically
"What do suggest we do?"
"Well, I am his doctor, and I guess, well I was wondering if maybe, potentially I could go to the high school he goes to so I can keep a eye on him?" I rambled. I really wanted to find Nico.
"Do you even know what high school he goes to?" Chiron asked, his eyes squinting as he smiled knowingly
"Uhh, no." I sighed defeated,
"But I do know the start of the the name but Hades cut the connection so I couldn't hear the rest. All I heard was goo, which isn't helpful," I said sadly
"Oh! He must have been sent to goode high school, Percy went there before the war with Kronos," I winced at that, I lost so many siblings to that war.
"Hopefully that is where Nico is. Ok Will, you can go to high school, and be safe. You will be leaving at 12:30 so go pack." Chiron said and I perked up.
"Thank you Chiron, thank you so much!" And with that I ran back to my cabin. I started packing up all my stuff when Lucy, my 9 year old half sister came up to me
"Willy, why are you packing your stuff? Are you going to leave us?" She asked quietly. She was so adorable and innocent

"Lucy, I have to go away for a little bit, but I'll be back, ok," I told her softly not wanting her to cry,
"But who will take care of our cabin?"
"I think Cassie is going to. Stay with Cassie while I'm gone."
"Ok" she said quietly and skipped back to her bunk
I walked over to Cassie who was reading her book, the city of bones
"Hey Cassie," I said to get her attention. Her dirty blond hair was pulled into a loose side braid and her blue eyes didn't leave her book.
"Cass, I have to leave camp for a while and I want you to be the cabin counsellor while I'm gone,"
"Really!" That got her to look at me.
"Is that ok with you?" I asked
"Yes that's great, thank you!" She said, turquoise eyes sparkling
"Good, I have to go now, bye!"
I ran out of our cabin and over to the hill so I could be driven to Goode. I got to the top of the hill and a bright light made me close my eyes and when I opened them again Apollo, my father was standing there.
"Hey Will, I heard you were going to high school, with a certain son of Hades," Apollo wiggled his eyebrows
"Daaaaddd," I complained
"Don't worry I'm not here to embarrass you, I came to give to a little help!"
"Oh," I said "with what?"
"Oh you know, give a couple thousand bucks and a map to Nico's apartment,"
I look at him in astonishment as he passed me the money and the map and disappeared.
Then I set of to find Nico.

Long War [Oldest]
It was a war. It was silent, so silent that few people ever noticed that it was happening, and long. So long that those who knew forgot why it ever started. Humanity had fought against itself... and lost. Prosperity, democracy and human rights were a thing of the past now, as the world fell into Sovereigns's hands - a handful of transnational corporations (and their CEOs) that monopolized the world economy. The resistance had been long silenced with the policy of bread and games. Now, over a hundred years later, something happened. One of the Sovereigns created a VRMMORPG like none other. A science fiction game, where players could explore the Galaxy... full of advanced technologies, bloodthirsty aliens and even magic. Was it a simple computer game, or... something else?

Quebracho: The Legend of Two Heroes
After a violent and tough battle, you recover in an infirmary with your fellow soldiers, or in a more relatable scenario, visit your friend's house after a hard day of studying. You’d expect that both of them would play out normally for the most part, right? Well... Maxon Cortez and Jason McGuire had the same thoughts too. Yet, fate has different plans for them: Max ends up in an eerie location he doesn’t recognize and Jace gets transported to an entirely different world that works like a video game (sort of) by walking into a portal. As they travel along the lands, the two of them will encounter other individuals of many kinds, make friends new and old, gain powerful abilities, experience spectacular adventures, and obtain priceless treasures. However, Maxon and Jason will unknowingly become integral parts of a nefarious conspiracy that, if successful, will plunge both of their worlds into eternal chaos and darkness. So it’s up to them and their allies to thwart it. Side-Note: I’ll admit right off the bat that this story will be my first attempt at writing a LitRPG, so the in-game mechanics and terminology will probably look weird and be even nonsensical. If you notice something that’s out-of-place or just flat out wrong, I apologize. Not only that, it's been a while since I've wrote anything and thus I'm a little bit rusty. So please bear with me. New chapters once every Saturday or Sunday. Also, I'll be fine-tuning the grammar, punctuation, and spelling when I have the time. So expect a lot of random edits. This story is also available on ScribbleHub.

Natural Alchemist
Will is poor. This is a fact he does not like about himself. Even back at his home village he was considered poor, but poor in the big city means something completely different than poor in a small village... It means ten hour days of hard manual labor with barely enough money to survive, and poor living conditions. He's sick of it, and desperate for change. Perhaps that was what made him decide to spend such a large portion of his savings on a mysterious potion from that beggar... That, and it seemed so special when he held it. But ever since that day, he's been having the strangest dreams... And the work is really starting to take a toll on his body... Author's Note: I wasn't sure which mature content warnings I should put on this novel, as I'm pretty much pantsing the story. I'm putting them there mostly as a percaution, but also to not limit myself as to where the story can go. This is my first time writing and publishing anything substantial. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
