Wait, so you mean-"
"Right" Nico said again "but it's cool. We're cool. I mean I see now.... You're cute, but you're not my type."
"I'm not your type... Wait so-"
"See you around Percy" Nico said "Annabeth."
She raised her hand for a high five.
Nico obliged. Then he walked back across the green, where Will Solace was waiting.
"What was that about, you made Percy look more confused than usual." Will laughed looking at Percy who's finger was up and who's mouth was hanging open.
"Nothing that concerns you" I replied smiling innocently
Will looked at me weirdly,
"Well, are you ready to start your 3 days?"
Skeletal butterflies started to fly around in my stomach again,
"I guess," I said looking down. He all of a sudden grabbed my hand,
"What are you doing?" I asked while I ripped my hand from his.
"Sorry, I forgot about the no touch policy, well follow me!"
I looked at the ground, a small blush creeping up my cheeks as I followed Will into the infirmary. As we walked through all I could sense was death and I almost passed out. Will brought me to the very back into a room that actually had walls and a door instead of a curtain. I looked at Will with a confused look, why was he giving me the only good room?
"I um thought y-you would like the good room since you will be here for 3 days," Will said sheepishly and blushing slightly.
I guess it was good I was slightly shielded from the death.
"Oh uh thanks," I said and walked over to the bed. I sat on it and sunk in the mattress, which was, obviously much better than my coffin-like bunk in the Hades cabin. Will laughed at me as I sunk into it which scared me because I forgot he was there. In result I fell off the bed and Will laughed even harder which made me blush a bright red.

After Will stopped laughing and I had yelled at him he said, "Ok, you should probably get to bed,"
"But it's only 2:00!" I complained like a 5 year old.
"Doctors orders!"
"I don't give a shi-"
"Language!" Will yelled before I could swear
"Whatever" I said rolling my eyes and then got into the heavenly bed.
"Are you going watch me sleep or something, I would like some privacy,"
"Oh ya, right, sorry, I'm leaving, good night, I guess," Will rambled
"Night" I mumbled back
I woke up to the sound of quiet crying. I felt tired and stiff and as I opened my eyes I saw a person sitting on the plastic chair beside me. He had blond fluffy hair that fell over his eyes.
"Will?" I croaked
His head shot up so fast that he could have pulled a muscle in his neck.
"Nico?" He said his eyes glistening. He looked terrible, he had massive bags under his eyes, bright red eyes and tear stained cheeks.
"Nico, you're finally awake!" He ran up and hugged me. I tensed up so he let go.
"Finally?" I asked
"Nico, you've been asleep for 10 days,"
My eyes widened and then I remembered he was in here when I woke up.
"Why were you in here?" I asked
"Well I am your doctor and I was worried about you so I had spent the last 10 days in the infirmary watching over you" Will said looking down
"Oh ok, well it's been way over 3 days so I get to go back to my cabin right?" I asked hopefully
"No you don't you were asleep so you still technically have 2 days left." Will replied becoming happy again, though he still looked distraught.
"And like I said, it's nice to see a friendly face around" and with that he spun around and left the room.

The System Slaves
Heroes selected from all races competed to prove their race worthy of living free. The Troll heroes failed... miserably. Their Race is paying the price. Most Trolls lost their sentience. This Troll did not, and now he must serve the system and try to prove his race worthy of redemption. Thing is, it's hard to save a race when you can't understand the squiggles that appear in your vision. It's even harder to save a race when you can't tell which thoughts are yours and which thoughts the system put in your head. And what do you do when you never loved Trollkind in the first place? .......................... Update Schedule: Two or more chapters a month. 1500+ words. I am a new writer so bear with me, correct my grammar, and point out things you want to add. I plan on finishing, it may take a while though. The cover isn't mine and isn't exactly the way I like it, I'll be on the lookout for something that fits better. ....... This is a Litrpg story, I kinda regret making it so, but what's done is done. The system is clunky and I forget stuff sometimes, don't hesitate to point out stuff that looks wrong or is wrong. There will be some cultivation aspects and some kingdom building later on.

Mistwalker Xyn and the Cult of Eldritch Evil
[Participant in the 2020 Royal Road Writathon Challenge] Having just graduated to adulthood, Xyn is salty about how his lackluster Awakening has resulted in his current derided status within his clan and tribe, particularly when compared to the successes of his litter-siblings. The revelation of the truth about his heritage sets in motion events leading to him traveling to human lands on a secret mission for his tribe. Cringeworthy moments and awkwardness will ensue as young Xyn (an anthropomorphic tiger-kin), raised in the sheltered life of a martial artist, navigates human society with a trusty sidekick or two picked up along the way and might just save his corner of the world while he's at it. Gore will be minimally present as needed to tell a fantasy martial arts tale. There won't be any sexual content, but mild/vague suggestive themes may occur occasionally due to the nature of Xyn's mission and his insecurities. Story should be teen appropriate. Et Non Lucem
A lonely fortress, a (slightly) deranged assassin, secrets, intrigue, magic and war. What could possible go wrong? If you've ever wondered what would happen if somebody attempted to blend a realistic medieval world with fantasy, then this is for you. If you've ever wondered what happens when you stick some (extremely) flawed humans into positions of power and try making them save the world, then this story is for you. Or if you're simply bored and can't seem to decide on a new story to read, then this story is for you! This is my first ever attempt at writing a story after years and years of reading, so any and all constrictive criticism is appreciated!

The Book of Rune
If you like moderately well-researched semi-medieval military logistics with some fantasy twists, and also conspiracy, and exploration, and violence, and maybe a dash of road movie, hey, Ruen just might be your thing. Plot-wise, basically there's a guy who got fired by Death, a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and a slave general who wouldn't mind retiring but ended up on a mass suicide mission. If you were looking for a less TL;DR version, a guy who got fired by Death meets a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and they try to get the guy un-fired while also trying to come to terms with death together (ooohhhh, look, I'm deep). Meanwhile a slave general does something stupid and ends up being sent on a suicide mission, and he tries to wreak havoc and save lives at the same time. The threads come together, I swear. This is a rough draft of a fantasy semi-book that I've had in the back of my head for some time. I've written a variety of short stories set in the world over the past three years, and I finally kicked myself into writing the actual story. Very much a slow work in progress. Occasional violence (okay, well, maybe more than occasional), occasional foul language.

Words I Left Unsaid
"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
