It's been a week since Mr. Davis disappeared and a new teacher took his place. Her name is Miss. Rozu and everyone loves her. Yugi during that week has finally met Bakura and Marik who were Ryou and Malik's lookalikes.
Today Yugi was walking home by himslef because the others were busy. As Yugi was walking by himself he didn't notice he was being followed by an unfriendly face. When Yugi walked by an alleyway someone grabbed his arm and pulled him in.
He was about to scream for help when a big hand covered his mouth. "If you scream I'll have your friends hurt." Yugi turned to see the biggest school bully Andie Link. 'I can't let him hurt my friends no matter what.' Yugi thought and nodded his head.
"Come with me." Andie said then started to pull Yugi to the abandon area in Domino.
(THREE DAYS LATER)
At school all of Yugi's friends were worried about him for he hasn't been at school for three days. All of Yugi's original friends was extremely worried but the new students didn't understand the problem.
"I don't understand the problem. The runt is probably sick." Bakura said with a shoulder shrug. Ryou then shook his head with a frown on his face. "Yugi has never missed a day of school in his life."
Joey then added, "Even when he's sick he still comes." Malik the thought of an idea. "Let's go to Yugi's place." Malik said and everyone nodded their heads. Joey then turned to talk to Yami but he wasn't anywhere in sight. He looked very confused.
Yami then used his shadows to locate Yugi. A few minute the shadows sent an image of Yugi. Yugi was tied up in a warehouse with Andie Link and was getting beaten by Andie.

With a growl Yami teleported to Yugi.
"Hurry up you runt. I need to get somewhere." Andie demanded at the terrified Yugi. "Please Andie let me go or my friends will start worrying." Yugi begged.
"If you don't do want me to hurt your friends then you'll do what I say." Andie said then punched Yugi in his face making Yugi yelp and fall to the floor as well as making Yami mad.
"And now you pay." Yami's dark voice growled making Yugi and Andie gasp. 'That voice!' Yugi thought as his eyes grew heavy. 'Why am I feeling tired?' Yugi asked himself. 'Go to sleep my little Prince.' A voice in his head making him finally fall asleep.
As Yugi finally fell asleep Yami came into view and had the shadows protect and untie Yugi. "It's game time." Yami said looking up at Andie. "Yami Sennen?" Yami nodded his head.
"What do you want?" Andie asked making Yami growl at the obvious. "You took something of mine and I want him back." Yami said pointing at the peaceful, sleeping Yugi. Andie glared at Yami.
"That twerp is mine now." Andie went to grab the sleeping Yugi only to have the shadows burn him. "Ahhh!" Andie held his hand in pain. "What the hell?" Andie yelled at Yami with rage.
"I wouldn't do that again." Yami started. "The shadows around my little prince are protecting him won't let anyone touch him." Yami finished while crossing his arms.
"No let's play a game." Yami said and Andie nodded his head. "This game is simple." An apple then popped up from thin air. "Take out your knife." Yami said and Andie gasped but still did what he said. Yami then grabbed a knife from the shadows.

"Who ever hits the apple first wins." Yami explained and Andie scoffed. "Easy." Andie was about to throw the knife when the apple moved.
"The apple moves on your fear." Yami explained then quickly threw his knife at the apple hitting it straight in the middle. Andie gasped then growled in anger. Andie was about to throw his knife again but the apple moved once more.
"I'm not afraid of no apple!" Andie declared and threw his knife at the apple. A second before the knife hit the apple it moved up and Andie gasped.
"T-That's impossible!" Andie yelled in rage. "You may not have been scared of the apple but your were scared of losing this game." Yami explained with a blank face. Andie then glared at Yami.
"Bull-crap!" Andie yelled then grabbed his knife from the wall and ran over to Yami. "I'll cut you!" Andie was about to hit Yami but his shadows grabbed Andie first.
"Door of Darkness is open." Yami glared at the struggling Andie. "You used Yugi to do you own work and threaten his friends. Now it's your punishment." Then the apple and the knives disappeared as Yami walked over to the sleeping Yugi.
"Heal him." Yami commanded to his shadows. Yami then made a piece of paper and a pen appear. As Yami finished his writing Yugi started to wake up. Yami then teleported him and Yugi to Yugi's bedroom.
"Sleep well my little prince." Yami whispered as he placed a small kiss on the edge of Yugi's lips. "Good-night." Yugi mumbled in his sleep making Yami smile softly.
Yami then walked over to the dark corner yo Yugi's room. Yami smiled softly as he disappeared in the shadows.
Yugi then woke up the next morning confused. "How I get here? What happened to Andie?" Yugi asked himself. He turned to his desk and saw a piece of paper. He picked it up and blushed at the reading.
Good morning my little Prince. You've been getting in trouble a lot lately though I don't mind coming to your rescue. Don't worry about Andie. He won't bother you anymore. Sorry we con't meet face to face we will soon.

The Infinite Labyrinth
(Story complete - Book 1 "Shanghaied", 2 "Shortcuts", 3 "Secrets" and 4 "Sanctions") It is the 19th century, and war smoulders between England and France. Any hope for a quick end to Napoleon's rampage across Europe ended when the Great Gates opened in 1800. For a fortunate few, the strange world of the Infinite Labyrinth offers opportunities, strange descriptors popping in their minds, informing them of growth, and status beyond that of a mere mortal. The materials and power crystal they bring back foster a new age, both military and civilian. Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
