[As Wednesday's trapped on the bus, she can't break a window or fit through them. She notices Thing and calls him over. Thing crawls through the window next to Wednesday]
Wednesday: I need you to go in the school and find the bus keys for me so I can get out and go after Enid. You got that?
[Thing confirms to Wednesday that he'll do so and leaves to go into the school]
[Thing comes back to Wednesday with multiple sets of keys]
Wednesday: Really... A BUS key looks like THIS.
[Wednesday pulls out the bus key from all the other keys to show Thing then starts the engine on the bus and drives forward enough so she could open the door]
Wednesday: Come on, Thing. Let's get out of here.
[Wednesday and Thing leave the bus and is about to enter the burning school to look for Enid when they hear a scream of pain come from the woods which sounded like Enid which causes Wednesday to quickly run into the woods leaving Thing behind. Wednesday runs faster then ever to find Enid while screaming her name to see if Enid would scream back but theres no response. Soon Wednesday comes across a trail of blood leading to a creepy house in the woods]
Wednesday: Enid?...
[Wednesday walks closer as she starts to hear sniffles of crying. Soon Wednesday finds Enid hiding with a scratch mark on her stomach. Wednesday quickly runs up to her and puts pressure on the wound and Enid starts to scream in pain as Wednesday puts the pressure on the wound]
Wednesday: SHH, shh, It's okay. It's okay. You're going to be fine. What did this?
Enid: I- I didn't get a good look at it but it was definitely another werewolf. And NOT my kind. Like an actual, huge, scary one that looks like it came straight from a horror movie.

Wednesday: Okay, you heal though right?
Enid: Yeah.
Wednesday: Then... Why aren't you heading?
Enid: Because, it was from another wolf. It's going to take longer than normal to heal AND it's more painful.
Wednesday: Alright. You'll be fine though, right?
Enid: Yeah. It just hurts. How did you get off the bus?
Wednesday: Why would you lock me on the bus in the first place. I KNEW this was going to happen. You NEVER run off without me!
Enid: I know! But... I'm never able to help and I thought this ONE TIME... I could change that but I failed... I'm sorry.
Wednesday: Okay. But we have to get out of here before it's too late. I got the bus key from Thing and we just have to get to the bus to get out of here.
Enid: Okay.
Wednesday: Lets get you up.
[Wednesday carefully gets Enid up and starts heading for the door when they hear the beast trying to get in]
Wednesday: Shoot.
Enid: What do we do now?
[Wednesday looks around and finds an old elevator and hides in it with Enid. Right as they both get in and close it, the creature breaks open the door and looks around for them but quickly smells and notices the blood trail leading to that elevator. As Enid starts to panic as she can sense it getting closer, the lets out a little squeak trying to hold in her fear. The creature seems to be quiet which catches Enid and Wednesday off guard when the creature jumps on top of the elevator and scratches claw marks through the top leaving the Elevator to fall all the way to the bottom with Wednesday and Enid inside. When they hit the ground it causes them both to get knocked out but Enid gains consciousness first and tryes to wake Wednesday up but no response]

Enid: Wednesday? Just WAKE UP! Now's not the time!
[Enid notices that her wound healed so she can run around better and use her full strength again so Enid picks up Wednesday and gets them both to a better hiding spot. Just as she hides the creature makes it all the way down looking for them but the creature can find them now that Enid isn't bleeding anymore so the creature gets up and leaves. Now Enid waits with Wednesday until she gains consciousness and ends up falling asleep with Wednesday until she wakes up]

Wolf's Oath Book 1: Oath Sworn
In Aralt ‘Wolf” syr Tremayne’s world, skyships sail above tidal extremes, crystal swords are Tuned, and the soul-touched inspire both awe and fear. The latter doesn’t phase him, he carries a Tuned blade, and as for the ships…Aralt prefers to keep his feet on solid ground. Having finally laid to rest the ghosts of his past, he is unprepared when the grave gives one of them back. To his shame, it isn’t the one he wants. Lian Kynsei’s arrival upends Aralt’s life, but there is nothing he can do about it. Oath-bound to Lian, the last of a priestly clan, he is now defender of the scion of a faith he no longer shares. But the boy Aralt once knew is gone. In his place is a reckless, traumatized teen who can light the sky on fire. The more they get reacquainted, the less Aralt likes him—and the feeling is mutual. As revenge against a common enemy boils in his blood, Aralt struggles to do his oath-sworn duty and secure sanctuary for the heir-apparent to a mystical dynasty. But instead of safety, every step brings them closer to danger: sky pirates, cannibals, and a relentless soulless scourge unleashed by their enemy are all intent on killing Lian—or worse. Death, Aralt realizes, might be the greater mercy. ---------------------------------------------------------- What to Expect: Character-driven Plot Novel Pacing (which I accept isn't typical for serials) Elaborate Worldbuilding (you gotta pay attention) Soul-bonded Swords Sentient Wolves Longish Chapters What Not to Expect: Litrpg (sorry!) Harem (not sorry!) Magic System Short Chapters Dancing Bears (at least so far) Seriously, this is a second-world low fantasy/science-fantasy featuring a strong, but flawed male protagonist, a cheeky teenage boy that’s driving him crazy, a wee bit o’ Scots flavor, and a whole lot of culture clashing. I’m preparing to relaunch this story on Kindle once the second and third books are ready and I’d love some feedback as I move through those revisions. I'm serious about the feedback. All comments are welcome. I'll name a characters after you. And kill them, if you want. :) Oh, did I mention soulless assassins and cannibals? Yeah, Aralt’s day is not getting any better. cover image by brosedesignz

Eternal Rest
The novel follows the chronicles of a soul mage and his utmost desire not to die. In his most desperate time, nearing the end, his attempt to evade the inevitable went awry and he found himself in quite the peculiar situation. His wish, granted but at what cost? What path would he follow given a second chance? He didn’t know, nor did the author, but they would make sure to get the most out of it!
