Both families arrived at the church at the same time and they were already in their seats waiting for the bride to make her entrance. Benedict was already at the front with his older brother, facing the priest. Every five seconds he had to wipe his hands on his suit because of how sweaty they were. He tried taking deep breaths while constantly telling himself not to mess this up.
On the other hand, Elena was rather calmer than last night and this morning. She sat on a small bench waiting for her father to walk her down the aisle. From time to time she would nervously peek through the door to look at everyone waiting.
"Whenever you're ready." She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard William talk.
She let out a shaky breath and nodded. She slowly got up and stood in front of the entrance. Lord Bennet smiled at her and held out his arm for her to take.
Elena nervously gripped onto his arm and said, "Just, don't let me trip, Papa."
"Never." And they started to walk down the aisle.
The guests rises from their seats when they noticed the bride and her father walking down. Anthony lightly tapped on Benedict's arm and he slowly turned, only to fall in love with Elena all over again.
His eyes were already teary and he wasn't nervous anymore. He was more than happy that he was marrying Elena and he couldn't believe it. Even after all of the obstacles they went through, Benedict had her and he was gonna cherish her forever. He loved everything about her. Her beautifully done hair, her nervous smile and her hazel-nut eyes that shined with the sun.
When William and Elena reached the end, she felt that she could finally relax now that she was with her fiancé. William kissed her on the cheek and went to take his seat as well did Anthony. With her free hand, Elena tightly held Benedict's hand which made him smile.
"Dearly beloved..." The priest stated. "We are gathered to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony. It is said that marriage hath in it less of beauty but more of safety than the single life. Now, who would like to say there vows first?"

Elena was about to volunteer but Benedict did before her.
"I will." He said and turned around to face Elena, still holding her hand. He stared deeply into her eyes with lust and passion before speaking. "I wasn't sure what to write, so I listed ten things I love about you. I love the way you laugh and how it makes me laugh as well. I love how how your hair floats in the wind as it makes you look like a goddess. I love that you're special and different from the others. I love how your eyes shine bright when the sun hits them. I love it when you're happy when you do something you love. I love how your spirit is so free like a wolf. I love the way you dance. I love that you have a passion in almost everything. I love how you care so much about your friends and family. And lastly, I love how you can purposely pour a drink on Lord Berbrook and make it look like an accident." Benedict laughed at the last part.
It made Elena and the rest of the kids laugh except for the parents who just looked at them weirdly.
"Elena..." He spoke again. "I cherish these things about you, and I have no intention of letting you go. I promise to be the best husband you could ever wish for, and the best father for our future children."
Elena smiled at him with tears in her eyes. She looked at the priest for approval to speak and he nodded.
"Benedict..." She stated. "I always thought that love would be impossible for me and that I would die a lone maiden, after the way I was raised. When I came back home a few months ago, I thought the entire season would be a living hell. But one particular morning, in a hidden field deep inside the forest, I saw a man. His back against the tree, struggling to draw a girl. When I realized who that girl was, my heart fluttered. I've never felt my heart flutter, never had butterflies in my stomach and I never got weak in the knees. Until I met you. You kept coming to me and I couldn't believe it. I tried to wash away my feelings because I was scared to fall in love for the first time. Now that we're here, I realized that nothing can stop me from loving you. So, I want to thank you, Benedict. Thank you, for coming into my life when I needed you the most." Elena sniffled.

The entire church was crying now. Benedict's vow was already beautiful enough but Elena's really hit that spot.
"I may not be what you expect from a wife, but I shall try my best."
"Then In the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. I now pronounce you man and wife."
As soon as the priest said those words, Benedict instantly pulled Elena by the waist and kissed her, the guests cheering in the back. No matter the number of times they have kissed, they still feel butterflies in their stomachs. The kiss was long, passionate and filled with lust. But, they had to cut it short because of the family, and there were children.
For the rest of the day, it was the ceremony at the Bennet household. Almost everyone in London were invited. The house was very beautiful. Lavender was hanging down the walls and there were a lot of food on the table.
Everyone congratulated the newly weds like Mr. Granville, Lady Danbury, even the Queen. She was still a little bit upset that her nephew was turned down two times but she managed to put on a faint smile.
Elena stayed by Daphne and Simon's side during the whole time but she kept stealing glances at Benedict, and the ladies that were flirting with him. But Elena didn't do anything. She trusted Benedict and knew that he was a loyal... and she didn't wanna cause a scene.
Instead, she drank every glass of champagne she came across.

It was time for Benedict and Elena to leave to their families and start a new one. Elena was feeling emotional though. She had just got back to her family but she had to leave them again. They were on their way to Aunt Liana's cottage for the honeymoon and then straight to their new home. Lady Bridgerton was nice enough to offer her second born son a house that she owned in Oxford.
Both families were outside of the house, talking and saying their goodbyes
"Perhaps I can come with you, sister. Now that you and Lizzie are married, this is my chance to escape from being Mama's victim." Isabella told Elena while walking down the stairs towards the carriage.
"You are staying here until our dear sister allows us to visit." Thomas said, hugging Elena one last time and pulling away.
"You mean if she allows us to visit." Lizzie added and went to hug her. "I'm sure you'll enjoy the piece and quiet."
"Don't worry, Bella. You're not the only one who is going to be a victim." Arthur glanced at Thomas who looked scared. "I'll make sure your brother turns into a real man." He ruffled his younger Brother's hair. "After I come back from the United States, of course."
"Finally proposing to Edith." Elizabeth said.
"I am going to miss you all terribly." Elena said, hugging her siblings.
"Even me?" Arthur asked with a smirk.
"Even you." Elena said and embraced him.
"Don't forget your bow and arrow." He whispered into her ear.
"First thing I packed."
After saying goodbye to her siblings and Benedict's family, Elena made her way towards her parents, hugging them tightly one last time.
"We will miss you, flower." Lord Bennet said.
"I will miss you both too."
After that, Elena entered the carriage with Benedict's help as he entered as well. He sat down right across Elena and then the carriage started moving, next thing you knew the Bennet household was already out of sight. During the ride, Benedict kept stealing glances at his wife who was looking out the window.
"We'll be arriving at the cottage before nightfall, my love." Benedict told Elena.
Elena nodded and went to sit next to him which made him smile. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"You should rest if you're tired, darling." He said and Elena rested her head on his chest, closing her eyes.
It was the start of a new journey.

Will You Be Alone? After The End? Don't You Know We're All Still Here?
More than a century ago the world was devastated, but that doesn't matter. Nobody cares about the past, stories from that time are as wildly conflicting as they are ridiculous--when any stories exist at all. There are problems in the here and now that need to be dealt with, bringing the past into things isn't going to help anyone. The fact is that young people all over the world are developing mysterious powers, and the public reactions to these powers are far from positive. Fair enough, you might say. Who wants a young man around who can conjure heat from the palm of his hand? How deeply undesirable is a girl who can bend your emotions to her will? What use, I ask you, is a girl whose very essence crackles with lightning? No use at all, I'd say. As for this so-called Mr Fin and his grand ideals, well, all I can say is that his clothing is of better quality than his plans. Vague allusions to a 'sanctuary' and a 'mysterious and powerful statue' are all very well, but when it comes to solid results I fear you may find him somewhat lacking. Mark my words and mark them well, following one such as him will only lead to tears. All in all, I'd say there's not much you could reasonably expect from a world such as this. Conflict, perhaps. Hardship, certainly. Despair, heartache, loss... ...hope? No, don't be ridiculous. Where could one find hope, in this ruin of an existence? Honestly, I am asking. Where?Discord
