"Come with me." Elena whispered into Benedict's ear, gently grabbing his hand and pulling him up from his seat.
Frowning at his Fiancée while he stoop up from his seat, Benedict followed Elena out of the room without anyone else noticing.
After going up the large stairs and walking through the long hallway, the couple reached another staircase, but it was a rather rusty looking one. These steps lead to a door, that Elena opens.
"What are we doing here?" Benedict asked, stepping into the room that looked like a library.
Elena shrugged her shoulders, letting go of the man's hand. "I just wanted to bring you here to talk."
Benedict looked around him, fascinated by all of the books in the shelves and by the art pieces hanging on the wall.
"This room was my favourite place, growing up." Elena stated, brushing her fingers against the books. "Coming here was always terrifying to my other siblings since this place is old but, for me, the ambiance always made me feel safe."
Benedict warmly smiled at her. He loved that Elena was just so different from everyone else he's met. That's why he's marrying her. Pointing at the art, he asked, "Are these..."
"They were my grandfather's." She replied, going next to him admiring the work of art as well.
"They're beautiful..." Benedict's eyes showed passion as he admired the man's talent.
Elena smiled as she saw her fiancé stare at her grandfather's art with passion, but it soon faded when she went to sit down beside the window.
Benedict noticed that she was feeling down so he made his way towards her and sat down as well.
"Elena...?" He gently took her hand. "What's the matter darling, are you feeling alright?"
But Elena kept her head down, trying to hide away the tears forming in her eyes. Benedict lifted up her chin and cupped her face, wiping off the tears.
"Tell me what's bothering you, my love. You know I don't like to see you cry." He said with a smile, trying to cheer her up.

Elena kept quiet at first, but then spoke, "Are you certain of your choice? About marrying me?"
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm new to society, Benedict. I'm not as perfect, or proper as those other beautiful lady on the market. I'm no Daphne Bridgerton. " Elena chuckled after the last part.
Benedict face saddened as he realized what Elena meant. But he didn't care, she was everything he ever wanted.
"I don't want you to be surprised, when you see that I'm not what you expected from a wife, so-"
Elena was cut off when Benedict smashed his lips to hers. She closed her eyes as she returned the kiss to him. It was like telling her how much he loved her just by a kiss.
"You're perfect your own way." He said as he pulled away.
"Yes, bu-"
Yet again, Elena couldn't finish her sentence as she felt another kiss, but this time it was softer.
"We're done talking about this subject, in case you didn't notice." Benedict mumbled into the kiss.
Elena softly laughed as he connected his forehead to hers.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too."

"What if I said Cressida Cowper instead of Daphne?" Elena laughed.
After their beautiful moment, the young couple was now lying on the mattress next to the window, cuddling each other to not get cold. They were having fun talking about their lives.
"Then I would've checked if you bumped your head anywhere." Benedict replied while playing with Elena's soft, black hair.
"I was very surprised when Aunt Liana offered us her cottage for our honeymoon. It is really not like her."
"Well, I think it was sweet. I need the perfect the place to have my time alone with you." Benedict replied, attaching her lips to Elena's.
They both pulled away when they heard the loud clock strike nine times. Benedict noticed that it was getting late so he stood up, helping Elena as well.

"I shall be taking my leave now. I believe our families downstairs are starting to get curious." He said.
"Then we shall go downstairs." Elena replied as they intertwined their fingers together, going down the stairs.
They saw the two families gathered around in front of the entrance as they made their way towards them. Elena said her goodbyes to every member of the Bridgerton family before they took their leave.
Then, she arrived to Benedict, her love, wrapping her arms around his neck as he pulled her closer by her waist.
"I can't wait to marry you, tomorrow." Benedict stated.
"As can't I." She replied.
Benedict took her hand and place a long soft kiss on it before walk out of the house.
After Benedict's family went home, everyone in the Bennet household went straight to bed so they can wake up in a good mood for the big day. But in Elena's case, she couldn't even shut an eye. She was shuffling around her bed to fall asleep but it did not work.
After that, she started pacing around her room, mumbling things to herself that nobody could understand. Now, she finds herself in front of her father's study. It caught her attention when she saw that his room was the only one who had the light one.
She opened the door and saw her father smoking his pipe, sitting on his chair while reading Lady Whistledown with two cups of tea on his desk. It was like if he was expecting her.
His eyes lit up and he stopped smoking when he saw his daughter standing in front of him.
"Ah! There you are. I was expecting you." He said with a smile.
Elena furrowed her eyebrows. "How did you know that I would come here?"
"Well, Lizzy was just like you before her wedding and I knew you would be the same. Do you want to sit, darling?" Lord Bennet asked, pulling out a chair.
But he got his answer when Elena started pacing around the room.
"I believe your answer is a no."
"Why am I feeling like this? I shouldn't be feeling like this. I chose this, I decided that I wanted to marry his so why am I nervous? It's all going by so fast, it feels like it's only been a week since I've known him." Elena put her hand on her forehead and closed her eyes.
"Do you perhaps... want to postpone the wedding ceremony?" Lord Bennet suggested.
"What?! Of course not."
"Then why are you so nervous?" He calmly asked his daughter making her calm down.
"I do not know why... I mean, he and I... are so similar. He's... Benedict." She stated as she started to cry. "Papa I-
Elena couldn't answer, completely lost in her words.
"You really do love him, don't you?"
"Very much. I just think that... do I really deserve him? I don't want him to regret anything. It's feels like it's too good to be true."
"Flower..." Lord Bennet walked towards his daughter and grabbed her shoulders. "From the moment I laid eyes on you... I saw your whole future. I saw you become this beautiful young lady who's strong, talented, brave and all the things you could possibly imagine. I saw you finding your true love and being happy with him. You're wrong if you think that Benedict is going to marry you and regret it because from what I saw? It's not true. This is your moment now, you deserve it. If you think that man is the one, marry him. Trust me."
Elena instantly hugged her father with all of her force. "Thank you, Papa. I love you."
"I love you too, Flower."

The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.
