Alice left for Greece to find a solution on Rose' problem of being a dream vortex. You might be thinking "Why Greece?" Well to answer that question Alice' family on her mother's side originally came from Greece.
Her mother's maiden name is Ambrosia and the family can trace back their history all the way back to the time of the Roman Empire. So it is only logical that Alice returns back to her ancestral home and see if any of her ancestors may have accumulated any books regarding dream vortex'.
When she arrived at the ancestral home. Alice is always taken aback by the beauty, splendor and vintage look that it has. Their ancestral house became a tourist spot here since her family decided to open this house to the public. So Alice and her mom didn't really need to worry about money so much since the government pays them to keep their home open to the public eye.
She went in and headed straight for the secret library down at the basement. She read every book related to dreams, the endless and vortex'. However none of them tells her how to destroy the dream vortex without killing the vessel.
Alice let out a frustrated scream and nearly hurled the books in front of her to the ground. However she stopped herself and just left to get some air. She went out the backyard and just looked at the garden.
Tears are streaming down on her face and she is trying to not let out a sob. Thankfully today isn't a schedule for the house to be open for tourist, other wise people might be confused with a woman crying. She was despicable her best friend is still alive and yet she is mourning her already. However Alice is lost there weren't any information on the books and she doesn't know where else to look.
After taking a few deep breaths and wiping her tears with her handkerchief. She finally remembered that she could ask her family members from the divine side for help. If they help her that is but Alice will try her luck since this is her only chance left.
She grabbed a pouch full of drachmas and went back out and went near the fountain. She threw a drachma and began to pray.
"Oh Iris goddess of the rainbows please show me Lord Zeus and Lady Hera." Iris answered her call and an image began to appear.
It was her divine grandparents sitting on their thrones talking to her aunt Athena. They noticed her presence and Alice then gave her respect by curtsying. However it only caused the older couple to sigh and the goddess of wisdom to frown a bit.

Alice looked at them confused since she hasn't even spoken yet and they are already displeased.
"Am I interrupting something my lord, my ladies? I can contact you later if this is a bad time." The three merely shook there heads and smiled although it was strained.
"No Alice dear you are not interrupting us." Alice sighed with relief at her grandmother's statement
"Though we are a bit disheartened that you are still formal with us little one." Alice winced at what her grandfather just said
"Isn't it insulting if I don't give you the proper courtesy." Alice asked
"No of course not, in fact we would love for you to be more open to us dear niece." Alice gave her aunt Athena a smile
"Then I will remember that in the future." That made the immortals happy and Alice just chuckled at their antics
"Why do you need dear, and your eyes are a bit swollen...did you cry just now?" Zeus asked angry at the thought of her grandchild weeping
"Yes but don't worry no one did this to me. It's just my best friend is in trouble and nothing in the library tells me how to help her." Now this confused the immortals since they only know of one mortal that is friends with their grandchild/niece.
"What is wrong with Rose Walker little one?" Athena asked and it made Alice stiffen
"Do you know of a way to destroy a dream vortex without killing the vessel?" The immortals eyes widened finally understanding the situation.
"I'm afraid that we don't know of such a method my sweet child." Alice looked at her grandfather defeated.
"Thank you for your time grandmother, grandfather and aunt Athena...Do you know perhaps of any other beings who might have an idea of such a method?" All three of them looked at each other and came to an understanding.
"The primordial beings my grandchild, though a word of caution if you are planning on contacting them be very cautious. They are quite unpredictable even for us gods." Hera warned her grandchild.
"Of course grandmother after all I am not planning on dying anytime soon." This just made her grandparents shake their heads while her aunt laughed at Alice' response.
Alice said her goodbyes and end ended the Iris message, contacting a primordial is the same as contacting the gods so there is no trouble there. The problem now is that Alice is hesitant in contacting them since this could literally get her killed but she didn't have time for this so she just plucked her courage.

"I Alice Ambrosia White a legacy of Zeus and Hera plead the primordial of the earth Gaea to grant me an audience with her." Everything was still and Alice waited if her relative would even show up at all.
She was so close to giving up when a bright light suddenly enveloped the whole garden. She closed her eyes when the light finally died down she slowly opened her eyes and saw her many times over grandmother however she was not alone. Stood beside her is the primordial of the night Nyx and this surprised her but she wasn't complaining.
She kneeled before this powerful ladies since merely curtsying to them might be perceived as an insult. Alice did not want to die today thank you very much she promised her family after all.
"I thank you for gracing me with you presence my ladies, I will not take but a moment of your time." Alice told the primordial goddesses while not daring look at them when she hasn't been given permission to.
To her shock though she was suddenly swept up her feet and into the arms of mother earth. Alice couldn't help but lean in to the touch it felt so much like home and she couldn't resist it. From the corner of her eyes she saw the primordial goddess of the night...dare she say pout at them. So she gave her a small smile which made the primordial night coo at her which made her blush.
"It is nice to finally meet my beautiful grandchild, truly those upstart runts I call grandchildren finally did something good." Gaea said while looking up at the sky as if challenging Zeus to react.
"I'm honored you think highly of me my lady but I would like to ask my question now if it is alright with you?" Alice said
"We already know what you want to ask Alice and the answer is yes there is a way to save your friend without killing her." The answer made Alice so happy and got out of Gaea's embrace and hugged Nyx.
The action made Gaea displeased and Nyx happily reciprocated the action and looked at Gaea with a smug look.
"I don't even know why your here Nyx as I recall grandchild only called to me so I don't see the need of you to be here." Gaea bit out at Nyx which made the night primordial smile and Alice looked at the two worried that they might start a fight here.
"Of course there is a need for me to be here after all this little problem of dear sweet Alice also involve my son Morpheus." Gaea just frowned but accepted the reason nonetheless since it was true. Alice gave a sigh of relief since that did not escalate to a fight.
"Back to your problem Alice in order to destroy the dream vortex one must kill the vessel in order to destroy it. However since you don't want that there is another option." Alice looked at Gaea in anticipation and it made the primordial smile.
"We can take the vortex out of her body and destroy it here in the waking world while it isn't active yet." Alice grinned happy that her friend is saved however another problem arose what could she give these two beings in exchange to save her friend.
Gaea and Nyx could see the question on top the girls head. So Gaea took her grandchild back from Nyx and caressed her hair to ease her worries.
Nyx just rolled her eyes at her sisters possessiveness of her grandchild. It wasn't fair she too was also the girl's...she will broach this subject to Alice at a later date. Right now she will let her sister enjoy Alice' company...for now at least.
"The only favor I ask of you is that you call me gran? I think that is sufficient payment in order for me to help you." Alice let out a loud and cheerful laughter and kissed Gaea's cheek.
"Then I will call you gran from now on I hope after saving Rose we can still see each other." Gaea agreed at her grandchild's suggestion and gave her plenty of kisses on the face.
"I would love to little one, as much as I would like to stay here and continue our chat I'm afraid we have to leave." Alice understood of course and gave her gran one last kiss on the cheek she also did the same thing to Nyx which made Gaea click her tongue.
After that they left in a flash of bright light and dark shadows, Alice headed back inside with a spring in her step. She can't wait to finally free Rose of this little predicament that she has no knowledge of.
Now how the hell was she going to tell her friend about this though. Alice grabbed her hair in frustration with every question answered it seems new problems tend to arise but future her can deal with that later. Right now she desperately needed to eat since it was already 1:11 in the afternoon.
