(Dardoch×Fem! Reader)

Hah! Bet you didn't expect him to be in this book. Echo Fox's rolster this year is actually good. I actually took a liking to Dardoch even though my friend gave him the name "Toxic Lord" I actually like him. Also, this oneshot will not have anything bad or negative if the title made seem like that. There will be none of that. Enjoy reading this.

That name usually sparks up conversation in the League community. But when people hear that name, the first thing that comes to mind is one word:

Toxic

His name alone speaks controversy. People just know him for being in that scandal on being on Immortals, then CLG then Team Liquid because of his constant arguements and toxicity towards his teammates caused him to switched teams. You knew it was hard for him because knowing his personality and how he gets tilted pretty quickly. You had known him a few months before he had entered Na Lcs meeting him at a store and having the philosophy of not buying brand name items that are more exspensive then a off brand item at a cheaper price. At the time, you started streaming on twitch and grew a decent size and fandom; not too big but fairly decent.

Last year, you did reveal to your stream that you were dating him and the all chat started blowing up with concerns for you and asked if you're ok. Some donations asked if there was some slight abuse issue between you two. This though, got you frustrated and mad. You weren't going to consider yourself butthurt because they were trash talking him and hitting him with sayings that only people who enter the salt mines would say. It got to a certain point where they be saying you should leave him because of the stupid scandals. Now, you somehow blew a fuse and scolded your stream telling them they shouldn't worry about you because he doesn't treat you like that, only worry about themselves and actually be real and considerate of your boyfriend. People knew you're serious because when you get mad you become increasingly better at the League, going into incognito mode. You told your stream that there are way worse people on twitch than Dardoch could be so you left that there and continued playing without any remarks to him.

From that day on, people would ask what's it like to date someone like him. You honestly just answered that it's nothing bad and he treats you very well, almost like a queen. But you hated the constant questioning about him everytime people talked to you, once you told someone to leave your presence because he kept trashing on him. It does get annoying but it stopped a few months later.

You love Josh and he's one of reasons you still play league. You even watc his Lcs matches when he's playing. You've been watching more of season 8 matches because of some of his games were pretty good and you wanted to see it in live action. You've liked the way he's been playing because of how in some games he would carry the team. Now being on Echo Fox, people were saying he has found a team that not only he fitted into but one where he is a solid foundation for them since he does play well with Huni.

Recently, you went to one of their matches in spring split and it was with them against Team Liquid where they ended the match in less than 25 mintues. The team fight that decided if they ended the match there or kept going was a work of art, especially Huni's Yasuo wind wall. Practically, you could've said Dardoch carried that game but the whole team was on point so fair game. After winning that game, Dardoch did a small interview on stage and while he was doing so, you waved your hand at him to let him know that you're there. As you kept waving at him, his wondering eyes looked for you in the crowd. Once he sees you, he smiles and making a small wave at you before shortly resuming the interview.

Once you left the building, you went to find him outside where they were having a small meet and greet. You waited until there were less people then you walked up to him. You tapped his shoulder and he cocks an eyebrow then turns around. He gives a small grin but before he can say anything, you both hear shouting and turn to look where it was coming from. You see Huni walks towards you two with his usual happy demeanor.

"Hey (Name)!"

"Hi Huni"

You gave him a high five and started talking to him on his amazing Yasuo play against TL. While doing so, Dardoch just stood next to you. It wasn't arkward or anything, actually take that back, it was slightly weird. He soon later left to talk to his coach, saying that he'll be coming later to the gaming house. His coach let him go but only to come back around 10, it was 3 right now so he got time. He slowly walks back to you as you had finish your conversation with Huni. As Huni turns to leave, he gave Dardoch the face while raising his eyebrows up and down a few times. Dardoch gave out a laugh while shaking his head with a grin plastered on his face. You didn't understand what was going on but you knew something to happened.

"(Y/N), you wanna hang out right now because I got time."

"Oh uh yeah, sure! I got time." You stuttered

Dardoch and you waved bye to his teammates and coach as you leave the studio.

You both just walked and talked around the area for a bit. When you got hungry, he took you out to eat at In-N-Out which he did pay for on his behalf. You didn't get much, it was just (order). You got it to-go so you can eat it later. After walking for awhile, you stumbled upon a stone bench. It was clean to say the least and the two of you sat down after walking around for so long. You two just sat there in silence for like a minute because you needed to find words to speak.

"So you found a team that fits and needs you, huh?"

Dardoch looked at you with amusement with a grin forming on his face.

"Yeah, I guess."

Now it was your turn to raise you eyebrow at him. You're curious on his statement.

"Like what do you mean by 'I guess'? Is it not satifying or a relief that a team finally needs you?" You inquired

Dardoch just shuts his mouth after what you said because he never expected that. Well, coming from you at least due to you being so sweet and kind all the time that he forgot you can get into this type of mode.

"It's not like that at all… I just had a really good experience with a team that actually works with me. In a way, I feel like no one really has a problem with me. I'm actually needed by a team who can put up with my constant attitude. I feel wanted." He said

You smirked and making a small chuckle, catching his attention.

"Joshua Hartnett, I didn't know you got all sappy just now-(he give you the 'boi' face) I was just pulling your leg, don't worry. But I'm glad you're doing good and happy of were you are at right now."

Joshua just closes his eyes, leans on your shoulder, and hums in response. You wrapped your arms around him like kind of craddling him. He just hums again and lets himself relax with you. The nightsky became more beautiful and the park peaceful as what seemed like hours have passed.

"I'm glad you're my girlfriend, (Y/N)"

"I love you too, Joshua."

A/N: I think I'm turning this into a Faker oneshot book or something because the next two stories involve him. I'm trying to write more stories that don't have Faker but he's my bias so it gets hard at times.
