3rd person POV:

(Mini chapter)

The gang was out bowling.

With all of them having the day off, besides (Y/n) who had no job, they decided to do something fun and nonviolent.

After a few rounds, Leona left to get the gang some snacks after losing at rock paper scissors.

Once she received her snacks and drinks she walked back to the group but stopped partway to watch them from a distance.

Marcus: Behold! My ultimate move! The absolute strike!

Marcus rolls his bowling ball and surprisingly gets a strike.

Marcus: Beat that!

(Y/n): Tch...

(Y/n): Ultimate move, eh?

(Y/n): Let me show you mine. It's called... Throw!

The Hellspawn throws the bowling ball as if it was a baseball at the pins and gets a strike.

Marcus:!?

Anna: (Y/n), please don't do that! You're going to get us kicked out!

(Y/n):(glares) I'd like to see them try...

Leona:(chuckles)

Leona:(mind) What an idiot...

???: Isn't he great?

Leona: Yeah, he is-

Leona:?

Turning around, she sees a boy in a yellow shirt and a similar jacket to the one (Y/n) had before it was burned. The only difference being a slight difference in color and three buttons on it.

He had blue and green eyes and two straps around his neck.

???: (Y/n) can do anything he wants to... That's why he's so cool.

Leona: Who the hell are you?

???: Oh, he hasn't told you? I'm his apprentice. The names Zack.

Leona: Okay... Whatever.

Leona then rejoined the group, however, Zack follows her.

Leona: Here's the snacks.

Anna: Who's he?

Zack: I'm Zack.

Marcus:!

Marcus turns around to see Zack.

Zack: Hi Marcus!

Marcus: Ugh...

Ignoring him, he attempts to focus on bowling.

Zach then turned his attention to Anna.

Zach: You must be (Y/n)'s step-sister.

Anna: Y-yeah...

Zach: You're so lucky. I wish my mom married his dad so we could be siblings.

Zach:(mumbles) But if I married this Anna, I could be his brother-in-law...

Anna: W-what...?

Marcus: Just ignore him.

Zach: Don't be like that. It's not nice.

Jason then got another strike.

Zach: WHOO! GO (Y/n)!

(Y/n): Anna, you're up next.

Anna: All right.

Anna begins bowling while (Y/n) grabs some nachos before taking a seat.

Leona then tries to sit in the seat next to his, but Zack slips into it before she could.

Leona:...

Reluctantly, she takes a seat across from Jason.

Zack: It's been so long since we saw each other. How have you been?

(Y/n):(eats nacho)

Zack: You don't have to say anything, I've been keeping tabs on you, and I already know everything!

Zack: Taking down three of the biggest crime organization in the world, single-handedly at that!

Zack: So... Cool!

(Y/n):(eats nacho)

Zach: So what was it like?

Zach: You were basically a superhero! Fighting crime, getting girls!

Zack: So cool...

(Y/n):(eats nacho)

Leona: Okay. What's the history here?

Marcus: Long story short. He's a kid with issues that (Y/n) accidentally saved once.

Marcus: He's an annoying suck up.

Marcus: Ignore him long enough, he'll cry and leave.

Zack: Not this time!

Marcus: (Y/n), just tell him to scram.

(Y/n):(eats chip)

Zack continued to blabber about how much he liked (Y/n) and annoyed everyone with stories they already knew since they lived through it all.

Leona: (Y/n) get rid of him before I do.

(Y/n):(yawn)

(Y/n): I'm going for a walk. Leona, your coming with me.

Leona: Why?

(Y/n): Why not?

Leona: Sure whatever.

Zack: Oh, I'm coming too.

Leona: Great...

The two then followed (Y/n) into an alleyway behind the bowling lane.

Zack: So are you (Y/n)'s girl or something?

Zack: How far have you gone?

Leona: None of your business. And if you keep asking you'll lose a tooth.

Zack: Don't be like that! At least tell me if you've kissed-

(Y/n): Oi! You yellow pest!

Zack: M-me!?

(Y/n): No, the sun.

(Y/n): But you're also an annoyance.

Zack: A-annoyance...?

Zack: Th-

(Y/n): Before you do your whole crazy shtick. Tell me, do you think you can beat me?

Zack: Of course not!

(Y/n): Then piss off!

(Y/n): I don't need you to be in my shadow. Pestering me and my pals.

Zack: O-oh...

(Y/n): Now scram! Unless you can take me on, I don't want to see your shit molded face, you got that!?

Zack: Y-yes sir!!

Zack then runs off, leaving Leona and Jason alone.

Leona: Why didn't you do that before.

(Y/n): Couldn't care enough to do it before.

Leona: What made you care?

(Y/n): An idea.

Leona: And that idea is...?

(Y/n): Couples kiss, right?

Leona: So I've heard.

(Y/n): But we haven't yet.

Leona: So? That's easily fixable.

They take a step closer to each other.

Leona: Are you sure you can handle moving things so quickly?

(Y/n): Pfft... Are you sure you can handle me?

Leona: Let's find out.

Jason lifted her chin and leaned in close.
