《The Brutal Life Of A Delinquent》Hell's Dragon vs Rum's Phenix: part 1

3rd person POV:
Marcus was waiting for the others to finish changing into their outfits while in quite the generic tuxedo.
Anna then walked out in a pretty little black dress with red highlights. Her look was comparable to a flower girl from a wedding.
Leona: Ugh!
Anna/Marcus:?
Anna: Are you okay?
Leona: Yeah... I just hate dresses!
Walking out, she reveals the black and green dress she was given.
Leona: I look like one of those girls in a casino that deals with cards or something.
Marcus: I don't see that.
Leona: That's because you don't see shit.
(Y/n): Quit yapping!
In black pants, redshirt, black tie, matching coat along with his hair slicked back, (Y/n) walks out.
Leona: You... Look really good...
(Y/n): Tch...
Anna: She's right. You cleaned up well.
Marcus: Under all that delinquent wear, is a dashing man.
(Y/n): Shut up. (pulls on tie)
(Y/n): Damn, I hate this shitty tie along with this whole outfit!
Leona: Then we're in the same boat.
She walks up to (Y/n) and straightened out his tie.
Leona: You know, people might see you as a man more than a boy in these types of outfits.
(Y/n): Thanks for the fashion advice. I'll immediately forget it when this is over.
(Y/n): Now let's go beat up the elderly.
(Opening theme)
(Y/n), Hell's Dragon, along with his companions arrived at a tall building which was Rum's headquarters.
The building blocked the setting sun. With not many, if any other options they entered as they get a call.
Anna handed the phone to (Y/n) who picked up the call.
(Y/n): What now?
Evelyn:(on phone) You're reaching the end, but are you ready?
(Y/n): Hell yeah.
Evelyn:(on phone) Even if you are, here's some advice. Make a smart choice.
She hangs up.
(Y/n): Tch...
Marcus: What' she say now?
(Y/n): Something stupid.
Continuing forward, they saw many people in suits and dresses inline for whatever event that was going to transpire.
The four simply cut straight to the front. The three then handed their tickets to (Y/n), per his request as they arrived at the bouncer.
Bouncer: Yo, you can't cut the line, get to the back-
With all four tickets in his hand, (Y/n) backhanded the man to the floor and began fanning himself with the tickets.
(Y/n): Learn your place, punk. I'm the god damn main event!
Dropping the ticket on the bouncer, the four entered an elevator that took them up automatically.

Anna: Was that really necessary?
(Y/n): It was a power move to show dominance. Those are always necessary.
Marcus: What should we expect from these Rum folk?
(Y/n): My jacket in mint condition if they know what's good for them.
Marcus: I was thinking more about, will there be guns or not.
Leona: We're in America. Everyone has a fucking gun. I'm pretty sure people get tanks for medicinal reasons.
Anna: What kind of people does Rum have?
Leona: People who want to fight?
(Y/n): Sounds like my kind of people.
Leona: The best we can do is be on our guard.
The elevator door then opened to a balcony room that overlooked something.
Everyone but (Y/n) carefully walked up to the balcony to see it be over a large arena.
The arena was some kind of unholy fusion of a Roman Colosseum and a hockey rink with a modern touch.
It was in a circle shape with two meeter stone walls that continued up with reinforced glass so the audience could see the fights they paid for.
Looking around the audience seats, they noticed a wall on the opposite side of them that was part of another balcony floor.
On that opposing balcony floor, (Y/n) and the gang saw Evelyn and Adam.
The balcony they were on then began lowering into the arena.
Marcus: No no no...
Anna: Oh no...
Evelyn: It's nice to see you in person, (Y/n).
(Y/n): The feeling ain't mutual. You've somehow become even uglier since the last time I saw you.
Adam:(chuckles)
(Y/n): What are you chuckling about, you cosplaying fart?!
Adam: I don't think you and I have truly met.
Adam: I'm your great uncle Adam and the leader of Rum.
(Y/n): I don't care. Where the fuck is my jacket!?
(Y/n): Give it back now, I'll consider giving you two the family discount on beat downs.
Adam: You have a lot of guts kid, I like that about you.
Adam: You kinda make me want to have grandchildren of my own.
Adam: But today we have a large audience, I'm itching for a magnificent fight!
Anna: But why?!
Adam/Evelyn:?
Anna: You're family. You shouldn't be fighting! You shouldn't put your family through what you put us.
Adam: It's because we're family that we're doing this.
Adam: I wouldn't have bothered to do any of this if he wasn't my grandson.
Anna: Do you not realize how insane this all is?

Adam: Do you not realize the type of world we live in?
Adam: Love, kindness, those things get you jack shit!
Adam: Society hides it and punishes it, but people want the freedom to do anything they desire!
Adam: They want to be superior to others, even those they are related to.
Adam: That's the true nature of people.
Adam: That is why I'm doing this. To teach my grand nephew to be free from all this bullshit!
Adam: This stage, this arena, is the place where people are free to show their true selves!
Adam: Everyone who fights in this arena does it by there own free will. They are allowed to do whatever to their opponent.
Adam: The audience, can wear whatever they want, eat whatever they want as they watch the fights.
Adam: There are limits of course, but those are only for the ones that aren't willing to fight for your freedom.
Adam: So be free Jason...
Adam: LIKE A REAL AMERICAN!
Adam: ISN'T THAT RIGHT PEOPLE!?
The audience began wildly cheering. Their cheers were so loud, Anna, Marcus, and Leona had to cover their ears from the sheer power of their yelling.
(Y/n): Tch...
(Y/n): SHUT THE HELL UP!!
The shout from Hell's dragon made the audience stop.
(Y/n): I don't know what you're on about, because I wasn't listening, you know why?
Evelyn: Enlighten us.
(Y/n): Because it had nothing to do with my jacket!
Adam: Then let's start the show.
With a snap of his fingers, several drones began flying in the air as a few men dragged a gasoline-filled tub under the balcony the twins stood on.
Evelyn:?
Adam then stood on the edge of the balcony with (Y/n)'s jacket in one had that loomed over the gasoline tub and in his other hand a vile of some kind of liquid.
Adam: The drones are broadcasting this little event to the rest of our little family.
Adam: In my left hand is your jacket that's been filled with rocks and coated in a flammable substance.
Adam: In my right hand, the antidote to cure your friends.
Adam: You can have one at the cost of the other.
(Y/n): You...!
Before he could take a step, Adam spoke.
Adam: Come closer and I dropped them now.
(Y/n):!?
Adam: Depending on which one you choose, will decide whether we do things the easy or fun way.
(Y/n): Bastard... This isn't a game!
Adam: Life is a game with two choices. Make the rules or follow them.
Evelyn:(mind) This wasn't my plan. What's with this improvisation?
The tub of gasoline was set ablaze as Adam held the two objects off the edge of the balcony.
Adam: So...(evil grin) What's your choice?
(Y/n):(glares)
Everyone was dead quiet. Waiting to see Jason's decision.
This was difficult for Jason... But in the end, he knew which he wanted to go for.
Adam then dropped both items, making (Y/n) burst into a full sprint towards his item of choice.
When it seemed like he wouldn't be able to catch the item, he lunged forward and caught it as he slid across the floor on his stomach.
As he looked at the vile with the antidote for his friends, the sound of his jacket bursting into flames echoed in his ears.
Marcus: Wow... I was expecting him to go for the jacket.
(Y/n): Ngh...
He tosses the antidote to Leona.
(Y/n): Take it...
Leona: Thank you.
Anna: Thank you (Y/n).
Marcus: Seriously, it means a lot.
(Y/n): Just...! Take it...
Leona takes the first sip as (Y/n) walks up to his flaming jacket.
Leona:!?
Leona: Is this just water?!
(Y/n): What...?
Adam:(grins wickedly)
Anna and Marcus take a sip as well.
Marcus: Son of a bitch, it is just water!
Adam: MWAHAHAHA!
(Y/n):!?
Adam: Did you honestly think that there was a poison that would kill someone in exactly a year while also having no side effects?
Marcus/Anna/Leona:!
(Y/n):....
Jason watches as the red piece of cloth around his jacket sleeve burns away into ash.
Adam: MWAHAHA! GUESS WE HAVE TO DO THING THE FUN WAY!
As Adam continues to laugh, the audience joins along and laughs with him. Soon enough, the whole area fills with the sound of laughter.
Evelyn:.....
Jason was slowly being pushed to the edge.
His teeth began to grind. He clenched his fist so hard and dug his nails deep enough to draw blood.
Jason tried to calm himself down but that only made things worse.
He had been tricked by people who were related to him... Played for a fool... Now robbed of his most precious belonging...
(Y/n): AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!
(Crash)
Slamming his fist into a wall, cracking the wall itself, he shouted at the top of his lungs.
(Y/n): ADAM! YOU'RE A DEAD MAN!!!
Adam:(evil smirk)
(Y/n):(murderous glare)

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
