Jungkook today had to go to the police station earlier than usual, he didn't know why. He arrived and went to Hoseok's office. His smile dissapeared as he saw the brown box that was set on the desk, most of the office was empty. "C-Chief?" He stuttured.

Hoseok turned around and smiled "Jungkook, let's go!" He said as he started walking first. Jungkook followed him, not sure of what is going on.

"Why is there a box on your desk?" He asked. Hoseok didn't answer, they both arrived to the General Chief's office. He was superior to Hoseok and Jungkook. They both bowed as they walked in.

The General Chief stood up "Oh, so you want Officer Jeon to replace you?" He asked.

Jungkook wanted to speak up, but he wasn't allowed. Hoseok knew Jungkook was piercing into him, trying to find out what is happening but they both were superior to him, so he wasn't allowed to interrupt. "Yes, he is the one I trust the most that can handle this position. He proved himself multiple times." Hoseok puts his hand on jungkook's shoulder.

The General Chief opens his hand to jungkook, jungkook looks at Hoseok confused, Hoseok blinks both eyes telling him to shake it. Jungkook shakes his hand. "Congratulations, officer Jeon. Or... should I say, Chief Jungkook. Well after a week you will be the Chief." He stated.

Jungkook frowned "C-Chief?! What?" He asked in a confused tone.

Hoseok bows down "Thank you, Chief" he holds jungkook's neck and makes him bow too. Dragging him outside of the office.

"Chief... What the hell was that? Replacement? New chief? Please tell me it isn't what I'm thinking." He says as they walked back to Hoseok's office.

Hoseok sighs, sitting down on the couch and patting the seat next to him. Jungkook takes a seat and keeps staring at him for answers. "Jungkook... Sungi was under eighteen? I didn't know that." He said.

Jungkook nods "Yes, why?" He asked.

"Mister Hoseok, I don't want to leave, Hyung." He mumbles as they exit jungkook's studio.

Hoseok chuckles "We have to, he needs alone time with Jungkook." He says.

Sungi pouted "I wouldn't have interrupted..." he mumbled.

Hoseok chuckles "Just for tonight, my apartment is actually really close to here." He points at his apartment.

They both walk in the apartment, they hear a knock on the door. Hoseok opens the door and his eyes widen "General Manager, what are you doing here!?" He asks.

The General Chief pushes him as he goes inside, Sungi comes to see who came. "Dad..." he was speechless.

"Why didn't you tell him he was staying with me?! Why didn't you tell on me?!" Jungkook started crying. "It's because of me... you lost your job. Hyung, please no I'll go right now and tell him the truth-"

He stands up but Hoseok pulls him "He was actually nice about it... he didn't sue me for hiding his minor son in my house but he just wanted me to quit quietly, and no if we tell him the truth he would fire you too. There is no point. Jungkook, it's not your fault." He says.

Jungkook shakes his head, more tears fall on his cheeks "Hyung no, I made you lose your job." He said.

Hoseok smiled and hugged jungkook "You are perfect for this position, unlike me... I was scared of a lot of things." He sighed.

Jungkook holds him tightly "I'm quitting too-"

"Jeon Jungkook, if you do that then I won't talk to you anymore." Hoseok says pulling away and threatening him.

Jungkook didn't say anything, he left to his shift without Hoseok. He was angry with himself, and Sungi for not telling them that the General chief what his father.

Jungkook arrives home, he sees Jimin working hard on designs. He doesn't notice jungkook was home. He slowly walks up to him and scares him "BOO!"

Jimin flinches, wanting to yell at the boy but he can't speak. Jungkook giggles and makes up for it by kissing his cheek "I missed you." He whispers.

Jimin smiled and kissed him back on the lips. Jungkook holds Jimin's hand and takes him to the couch. Jimin looked concerned a little. There was clearly something with jungkook. "Did you know that Sungi's father is my general chief?" He asks softly.

Jimin's eyes widened, he shakes his head. Jungkook sighs "Hoseok... got fired because of me. He and Sungi were heading into Hoseok's apartment..."

The boy kept explaining the situation, he was tearing up as he did. He was heart broken, he wasn't sure if he can accept the position. As much as Jimin wanted to speak and give advice, he couldn't. It all goes down with what jungkook would decide.

Would he accept the position? That would make him financially stable and he can quit his other job or, Would he choose money over his friend? He can't just act like it was Hoseok's fault. He just can't... why does he always have big issues that involve his life.

"Jimin... I'm just tired. I'm so tired of everything, sometimes I just wish I can rest well without having to worry about anything..." he cries on the boy's lap feeling defeated.
