《PANTHER (JJK)》🐾 INTIMIDATE

Clutching my black bag, I head out of class and out of school. I get about a block away until that parasite somehow finds me again.
"Need a ride, kitten?"
I glance to my left, fully knowing who it is already by his smooth, cocky voice.
"No." I simply reply and keep walking towards my destination in town. The red mustang slows next to me and Jungkook pops his head further out the window, smirking at me.
"And don't call me kitten unless you want me to bite." I glare at his amused expression.
"Two can play at that game, little do you know." He chuckles to himself as I roll my eyes and ignore him.
"You sure you don't need a ride? If not in my car, I can give you something else to ride on."
My eyebrows raise in an instant and I scowl, making eye contact as he shrugs.
"Your pick, babe." He turns his attention back to the road that he's inevitably going to end up blocking with how slow he's going.
"The only thing I'll ride is a full ride to college, unlike you." I tease, him swallowing since I clearly hit a nerve.
Of course I already heard that you've failed another class-
He drives off annoyed, not having a good enough comeback to go against my insult which makes me laugh to myself.
Continuing to walk, I finally make it to my desired coffee shop that I go to for when I need to reward myself. The familiar jingle from the door chimes through the small cafe as I enter, walking to the counter with a big smile aimed towards one of my favorite people.
"Another A+!" Lia grins from behind the counter as I nod happily, her already being aware and used to my tradition of getting the same drink and sweets after I earn an A+ on a test or exam.
"It was a big achievement so I'll even ask for extra whipped cream this time!" I wink and she heads back to start making my usual order which consists of a caramel latte with whipped cream as well as multiple different slices of cake they serve.

My food is all placed in small plastic containers and she hands me my drink as I pull out my cash to pay. I hand snakes past me and I slowly look up to see a credit card being handed out to Lia.
"It's on me." Jungkook smirks, surprising me in the process as to why he's here at the same time as me.
"What? Why? And what are you doing h-" He hushes my confused thoughts and his smirk falters into more of a guilty smile.
"Think of this as an apology for what happened earlier in school." Is all he says while he looks down, proceeding to grab his card back from the cashier and walking to his own table he was already at.
"Wow, Y/n... he's hot as hell! Do you think he wants your number?" Lia whisper yells to me.
"Definitely not. Me and him aren't exactly... friends." I glance with a brow raised to his table that's now starting to fill with some of his friends.
Must be where he comes to celebrate too...
I sigh and shrug it off, assuming that he just genuinely feels bad for some reason, probably for how he lashed out at me in a very different way than usual earlier. It seemed more serious for some reason unlike his usual playful bitching that I'm used to.
Grabbing my containers of cakes and my drink, I sit down at the only open seat which is, of course, tragically only one table away from his own table.
Well, that's sort of awkward...
I eat and scroll through my phone for a bit until I hear something that catches my attention.
"I said, she's too outgoing and nice to everyone. What a pushover, that's why people like her I bet." One of Jungkook's friends repeat as they all glare at me very obviously.
I slowly take a deep breath in and tell myself it's best if you leave it at that, don't make a scene toda-
"Y/n acts as if the way she presents herself is something to be proud of. It's embarrassing to watch her walk around with her head held high as if she wants everyone to look at her... I call it attention seeking." Jungkook's voice rings through my ears.

That's it, that's the last fucking straw, actually-
No one will talk like that about me because I know my worth and know that I can stand up for myself.
I calmly stand up and walk to their table, my red heels clicking against the floor, making my presence known just like always but I don't mind because it's not attention seeking, it's confidence.
I dust off my black velvet dress and proceed to grab a chair from the empty table next to them, pulling it with me as I walk and turning it to face Jungkook who is now looking at me with raised eyebrows. The table goes silent as I sit down in the chair that's now at the end of their table, facing Jungkook whose on the end of the booth in front of me.
No one speaks as I sit back, crossing my legs and propping an elbow up on the table, propping my head on top of my palm as I tilt my head and coo at the sight in front of me.
"Oh, Jungkook. Look at you now, sweetheart. You can't even say a word now that I've come over here, hm?" I question in a sweet voice.
"I- what do you want?" He stutters out and I smirk, crossing my arms.
"You say that I'm attention seeking and embarrassing with how I act but the only thing that's attention seeking and embarrassing here is those words you used to try to hurt me and get my attention with. Don't you agree?" I smile to him, my voice calm.
He leans back and crosses his own arms, gulping but furrowing his brow to me.
"You just want to make a scene-"
"No. I am simply telling you the truth since you seem to not know it." I deadpan.
Leaning in closer, he glances down at the point of my red heel that's touching his leg and then follows his gaze up my legs to my dress, up to my serious expression. My face is only about four inches away from his now pink face.
I start to speak, slowly leaning in further as I do so.
"Jeon Jungkook, I do not look for attention because I attract it and you've just proven me right. I am also not holding myself in an embarrassing or too outgoing way because I am simply just confident in myself and my actions." I lowly tell him, my face only an inch from his as we stare into one another's eyes.
"But I'm sure you already knew that." I smirk, my lips almost brushing against his and I pull back, not wanting his breathing to become any more labored since by the looks of it, he'd pass out at this point.
"Glad to make myself clear." I smile to his stunned face and stand, pulling the seat back to its original table and grabbing my last cake I hadn't eaten and my trash.
I throw away what I don't need and walk back to his table once more, still full of shocked faces and silence amongst them.
I toss the plastic container that holds my last chocolate cake to Jungkook and his eyes widen but he catches it with fast reflexes.
"Think of this as an apology for what happened earlier at your table." I mimic his own words from earlier, "Think about your words and intentions since they seem to be different. Calling me attention seeking was only said so that you could try to gain my attention yourself, which is contradictory. Next time, be a good boy, hm?" I wink and turn, walking off confidently out of the cafe as his table watches me with wide eyes, even Lia gasping at my confidence as I pass her and I know that she's cheering me on inside.
I smirk to myself, knowing that Jeon Jungkook won't dare to cross any lines like that again.
