《Youth || Klaus Mikaelson》39

I couldn't fall asleep. I was sitting in the kitchen, debating on whether to call Klaus or not, which i do.
"So you killed the brotherhood of the five, right?" I ask Klaus.
"Yes."
"Madeline said there was a curse, what exactly is the curse?" I ask and Klaus stays silent. "Of course you aren't gonna tell me—"
"Because I'm... what did you call me, ah, yes, a jackass." Klaus quotes what I told him.
"Now, you're more than a jackass." I scoff.
"You aren't innocent yourself. You called me for information." Klaus says.
Elena came down and made some tea, and was staring at me weird.
"Elena, are you ok?" I ask her, but she doesn't answer.
"Ashley, what's happening?" Klaus asks from the phone, but I ignore him.
"You're haunting me. You're a ghost." Elena reappears those words I would say 3 times.
I furrow my eyes and walk towards her. "Lena, it's your cousin, Ash—" she grabs a knife and stabs me in the neck.
"Ashley, what is happening!" Klaus screams. "Ashley!"
I couldn't breathe, I was choking and everything went dark.
—
I wake up and see Caroline and me hooked up to a machine. I jump up.
"You're ok Ash, Elena wasn't in her right mind when it happened."
"How do you know?" I ask.
"Klaus called Tyler, all worried for you. Klaus is back, sadly. He's so annoying." Caroline says.
"Tell me about it." I scoff which confused Caroline. "I don't want to talk about it."
"Ok, good news is you can leave in another hour, but they had to give you a bunch of drugs so you'll be loopy and that stuff." Caroline tells me and I nod. "Oh, and they stitched up your neck, no major injuries." Caroline says.
—
We go back to Tyler's mansion, since I didn't feel like going back to my house.
"So Klaus thinks you two broke up because of Hayley?" I ask and she nods.
We walk in and see Hayley, Tyler, and Klaus.
"Brought your stuff. Old laptop, your Jersey, the charm bracelet."
"Care... this isn't a good time." Tyler says and Caroline still hands the box to him.
"By the break-up drama unfolding before me, I assume you've met Hayley." Klaus says. "All right, come On, let's go. Let's leave them alone." Klaus tells the hybrid.

Klaus looks at me and just walks past me, bumping his arm into mine, which makes me roll my eyes. Klaus finally leaves.
"Do you think he bought it?" Caroline asks.
"Hell, I bought it." Hayley says.
"Thanks for the head's up that he was here, Hayley. And can Ash stay here, Elena almost killing her and the fact she's still on drugs is making her not want to go home." Caroline says.
"Yeah, of course. What exactly happened?" Tyler asks me as I sit on the couch.
"Elena thought I was someone else, or something. She stabbed me with a knife. I don't think she was in her right mind." I explain.
"What happened between you and Klaus?" Hayley asks.
"Don't want to talk about it." I say, closing my eyes.
—
I wake up hours later and everyone was talking to Stefan.
"How you feeling?" Stefan asks.
"Little dizzy, and tired." I respond. "Why are you here again?" I ask.
"We need a favor. Klaus took Elena because she has—"
"A curse from the five." I interrupt.
"Yeah, we're trying to get her back, we need him distracted and the only person to do that is you." Stefan says.
"Are you up for it?" Caroline asks.
"I guess, I mean I can do it but it doesn't mean I want to." I say which makes Caroline laugh.
I head to the grille and see Klaus sitting by himself.
"Place looks pretty good considering you led your hybrid into a suicide mission here." I say in an annoyed tone of voice.
"Ashley. Still think I'm a jackass?" Klaus says mad.
"Ok, I have a reason to be mad at you but you have no reason to be mad at me." I say.
"Good point. What brings you here?" Klaus asks.
"I want you to give Elena back." I smirk.
"Ah. They sent you to sweet talk me. Well, good form, but I'm afraid I can't do it."
"Why not?" I ask.
"She needs my help. She's cursed, which makes her dangerous, which you should know since she did almost kill you." Klaus says.
"Yeah, can we not talk about that. I've been trying to help her but it's been making her worse."
"And you think it's your fault? The only reason she hasn't killed herself yet is because of you." Klaus laughs.

"You do know she's my cousin, right? Actual family. You laughing doesn't make me like you more." I mention.
"But you do. I know what you want." Klaus smirks.
"You can't use that, it's— it's not fair." I say and get a text message from Stefan which says,
Stefan: I lost Elena.
Stefan: I need a vampire to kill. I'll turn someone if I have to.
Stefan: get an answer fast.
I sigh knowing Klaus is about to get very angry with me. "So here's the thing. I didn't just come here to try to get you to release Elena."
"You don't say." Klaus smiles, but i can tell by his eyes that he is full with rage.
"I came here to distract you so that Stefan could go to your house and break her out, which he did. And don't get even more mad than you already are, but then he lost her."
Klaus immediately gets up.
"Klaus."
"Ashley, you're beautiful, but if you don't stop talking, I will kill you." Klaus says and I do the opposite as he says.
"They figured out how to stop the hallucinations." I shout.
"Ok. You have 10 seconds to tell me." Klaus turns around.
"There are potentials right. When a hunter dies a potential is chosen, the potential has to kill a vampire so they become a hunter." I say fastly.
"And you 100% know that's it?" Klaus asks.
"No." I shake my head. "All I knew is that Stefan needed a vampire, the rest just came out. Guessing it's huntress instincts."
"Ok, let's go." Klaus says.
—
We go back to Tyler's and Klaus was holding the hybrid by the neck.
"Klaus!" I shout.
"When i said don't let her out of your sight, what did you think I meant?" Klaus asks the hybrid.
"It's not his fault!" Tyler shouts. "It's mine. I was distracting him. It's my fault she got away!"
"And maybe you should be the one to die for it." Klaus responds.
"No one has to die!" Hayley shouts, which makes Klaus run up to her.
"Did i not say mind your business?!" Klaus shouts.
"I'm the one that let her go. You want someone dead, go ahead. Kill me. I'd rather die anyway then end up as one of your sired little bitches."
"Don't tempt me, little wolf." Klaus tells Hayley.
"You're not killing Tyler and you definitely are not gonna kill Hayley." I finally speak and my eyes turn the blue/amber yellow color.
"Ashley, control yourself." Klaus says but my anger was taking over. Klaus grabs my arms so I couldn't do anything. "Don't let it take over." Klaus says, staring into my eyes which eventually go back to their normal color.
"And your existence is to serve me. To please me. Do you understand?" Klaus asks the hybrid.
"I'm sorry. I won't fail you again." The hybrid says.
"No. You won't. Get out of here." Klaus tells the hybrid and he starts to walk, but he gets staked by Jeremy. But I didn't answer Stefan back, so he track me or Klaus in some way.
"I'm sorry." Stefan tells Tyler and Jeremy cuts his head off. Jeremy's mark starts to grow.
"Oh my god." I say, seeing my cousin with blood on his face.
—
Stefan drives me and Jeremy home and I was pissed.
"How did you find me?" I ask. "I didn't even tell you—"
"I made Bonnie do a locator spell. I knew you wouldn't want to be at fault for one of Tyler's friends death so we found you."
"How could you? I know it was to save Elena and I'm grateful for that but someone still died. I have to go back and tell Tyler." I say walking out of the house.
—
I knock on the door and Hayley answers it. "Where's Tyler?" I ask and she points to the couch.
"I'm so sorry what happened to the hybrid, Klaus forced me to tell him how to help Elena, which involved Jeremy killing s vampire, but I never told Stefan and i never wanted him to die."
"Ash, his death wasn't your fault, not at all. You didn't tell Klaus that he should kill his hybrids, and how did Stefan find you?" Tyler asks.
"Made Bonnie did a locator spell cause he knew I wouldn't of told him. He knew I wouldn't want someone to die." I say.
"Nobody's blaming you Ash." Hayley says from behind. "It's Klaus. Even if he's your anchor he's still an asshole. The fact that you came all the way back shows how much you care, you're good." Hayley said which makes me smile.

With Ryan Thinking life was just a game he could just end and throw away without any consequences, he is offered a deal to live his next life in a real-life RPG world full of swords, magic, misery, memes, and Mondays with nothing to help him along the way but a magical cellphone full of his music to get by in his afterlife. A real-life RPG you say? That sounds like perfect place to spend eternity! What’s the catch? Well first of all, this “Server” is in a nightmarish beta stage that has two trapped goddesses engaged in an everlasting brutal holy war between each other that has recently turned into a stalemate. Ryan is supposed to kill one of these goddesses somehow. (Technically there is a third goddess, but no one really cares about her) Secondly Ryan can’t die in this world without completing his mission here. If he does, straight to hell he goes. Thirdly, right from the start of spawning into this world, he has an annoying clingy emo/scene cat-dog rogue girl fall in love with him. This would be great in all If Ryan didn’t hate furries. Ryan will realize no matter how hard he tries he just can’t lose this clingy disaster. Forth: Living in an RPG world is great and exhilarating but when the class you choose to roll seems to be just as emo as you are, interesting things are going to happen. You better hold on tight; destiny holds in store for Ryan a Twisted Romance, tons of betrayal, a life full of dark twists and turns, and an adventure that will make or break him in this strange new world. Welcome to Lectioterra Adventurer! (Please DO NOT buff the Raid boss) (Please note i am quite aware that book one was written with quite a few thousand errors. I took a break from writing for ten years and had to relearn a lot of things. I learned quite a lot from writing 100+ chapters so far. I will go back and edit book one’s chapters after I get book two finished. If you all want to point out the errors in the earlier chapters I will gladly edit those things ASAP)
