"All right, we'll say that Mikael followed Elena in here. He tried to grab her so he's like use her as bait." Stefan suggests we do. Mikael found them and are planning to kill Klaus.
"And you, what, vervained him?" Elena asks.
"No, we vervained him. The guys an original. Make it realistic." Damon says and Stefan crosses his arms.
"Ok. Fine. We vervained him. And in the process discovered that he had a dagger." Stefan says.
"Which he planned to use on Rebekah. But instead—" Elena says but Stefan interrupts her.
"We drove it through his hearts."
"But you and Damon can't dagger him. You're vampires." I mention and Stefan sighs
"Fine. Then you can dagger him." Stefan says.
"Wait, what?" I say, shocked.
"Mikael is using Elena for bait, it makes sense that you would use the dagger to make sure your cousin doesn't get hurt." Damon explains.
"And what happens when he asks to see Mikael's body?" Elena asks.
"Good point. You, my brother, have been compelled to do what Klaus says. So if the idea is to lure him back here and kill him, the last thing we need is you getting tripped up and tongue tied." Damon says which makes me and Elena look at Stefan.
"Well don't look at me. I'm just in charge of getting him back here." Stefan says, which is true.
"Klaus is smart. He'll want proof if we tell him that Mikael is dead." I state and Mikael walks into the room.
"Then I shall be dead."
"What if he wants to see in person?" Elena asks.
"Well, it means our plan is working. Klaus will absolutely want to see my body. You lure him here, and i will kill him."
"With what?" Stefan asks Mikael. "Those daggers won't work on him." Stefan puts his hands on his hips.
"Well, I'm in possession of a stake fashioned from the wood of the ancient white oak tree. The one that left the ashes when it burned." Mikael prepares the dagger by dabbing it in the ashes.
"You see, a vampire can't dagger an original without dying. So... it falls to you." Mikael looks at me, Handing me the dagger.
"I actually have to dagger you?" I ask.
"Klaus will leave nothing to chance. Especially when it comes to trust, you know that." Mikael says and I nod, and dagger him.

Elena was at the boarding house while I was at home. I hear a knock on my bedroom door. It was Caroline.
"Do you have a dress for homecoming?" Caroline asks and i shake my head.
"We're going shopping, you're wearing a dress." Caroline says, which makes me glare at her.

"Ash, it's homecoming. And you look absolutely stunning in a dress. And you can wear sneakers, but I'm taking you shopping since I also need a dress."
We head to the store and Caroline picks out a dress easily.
"How about this dress?" Caroline asks and I instantly disagree.
"I hate the color green, it's ugly." I say and Caroline sighs.
"You aren't wearing pink, you can try wearing purple though." Caroline says, knowing what I was about to say.
"Fine." I reply, which makes me laugh. "But something on the flowy side." I say and Caroline agreed with me.
^(the dress you pick) (you wear it with a cute jacket with converse and your hair back half down and hair up, which is pulled back with a claw clip, and 2 front hair pieces down to frame your face)
—
The homecoming party was cancelled due to a flood in the school, so Tyler is hosting one. I arrive with Caroline and Bonnie.
"How did he plan a better party than me so fast?" Caroline asks, which makes me chuckle. "Is that a band outside?"
"Who are all these people?" Bonnie asks and I shrug my shoulders.
"I don't know, but it's too crowded in here so I'm going outside." I say walking into the backyard. I walk out and immediately see Klaus making a toast, or speech or whatever.
"Why is klaus here?" I ask myself, confused and go to find Stefan, which I couldn't find him anyway, but I knew he was out here. I go inside to find anyone, but all I saw was people that I never seen before.
I find Caroline and I start to walk faster, but I feel a presence.
"I thought I saw you earlier." I hear a guy in a British accent say, which i automatically knew it was Klaus.
I just scoff and walk away. I know if I engage, I will get upset and act out on anger, and I don't want to, but Klaus is making that impossible by pulling my arm to stop me from walking away.
"Give me a chance—"
"You, a chance? No way. There's no chance in hell I'm forgiving you for the pain you have cause me for months." I raise my voice. "So just leave me alone for once." I walk away and walk towards Caroline.
"Did you know Klaus is hosting this, not Tyler?" Caroline asks.
"I know, trust me." I sigh and Caroline can tell something I wrong.
"Come outside with me." Caroline says as i walk back outside with her. "What's happening?" Caroline asks.
"Klaus came up to me before and all I wanted to do was break down in anger. Every time I see him it reminds me of my mom. And I'm not one to get angry and—"

"You're afraid if you get angry you'll break down. Ash, put him in his place. Don't let him control you like that. Stand up for yourself, and like now." Caroline speeds away which had me confused, until I saw Klaus staring at me.
Then he walks over to me. "Just need to talk to you." Klaus says all innocent.
"No, you don't get to act all innocent. You took away my favorite person in this world. I've grieved, I've— I'm dealing with the pain, but it still isn't going away. So you pretending to care about me will have to stop cause we all know all you want to do is torture me."
"And I have regretted that moment since you were in Chicago!" Klaus shouts. "Just let me say what I have to say then I'll let you have fun, okay?"
"Fine." I sigh and start to walk with him.
"Seems I have you to thank for Mikael's demise." Klaus starts to say.
"He came at Elena. I had no choice." I respond.
"Still, I'm impressed. I mean you're the huntress and all but you went up against an original."
"Not the first time." I cross my arms, glaring at Klaus annoyed.
"Right. Elijah." Klaus laughs. "That's an easy choice."
"I could dagger you if you could be daggered." I say.
"Wow. That confident, huh?" Klaus asks in a joking way.
"What's the real reason you wanted to talk to me?" I ask. "Cause this small talk isn't the real reason."
"Ok, then. Straight to the point then, shall I , love? People have been after me for 1,000 years. And I am always one step ahead. So whatever it is you're thinking of trying, go for it, give it your best shot. You won't succeed." Klaus tells me. "And if something goes down, I've already insured that my hybrids will go after Damon, and kill him."
"Have a good night, love." Klaus smirks walking away. I look and see Elena, which is actually Katherine. Before I even walk over she nods, and walks away.
—
I was walking and Damon pulls me into another room.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"It's not safe here. I don't trust Mikael one bit. Here are my car keys, go to the house." Damon says.
"I'm 15. I can't drive." I respond.
"Then learn." Damon gives me his keys and pushes me to go out the back, which I do and I walk across the side. But in the next second Mikael speeds over and grabs me.
Next thing I know Mikael is using me for leverage against Klaus.
"Come out and face me, Niklaus, or she dies." Mikael says, which makes me scared.
"Wait, what?" I try to release myself from Mikael, but he's too strong.
"Go ahead. Kill her." Klaus responds.
"Klaus, he'll do it. And why am I getting used as leverage or whaler right now?" I ask while still trying to escape
"If she dies, there will be no more huntresses. No more huntresses for you to care about like you care for her." Mikael says, which makes me furrow my eyebrows.
Mikael keeps saying really hurtful things to Klaus, to the point of Klaus' eyes getting watery.
"I'm calling your bluff, father. Kill her." Klaus says.
"Come outside and face me, you little coward. And I won't have to." Mikael says, and I feel a presence, I look to the side and far away I see Katherine.
"My whole life you've underestimated me. If you kill her, you lose your leverage. So go ahead. Go on. Kill her. Come on, old man. Kill her. Kill her!" Klaus shouts and Mikael just chuckles.
"Your impulse, Niklaus. It has and will forever be the one thing that keeps you from truly being great." Mikael says while stabbing me in the lower back. I gasp in pain, and i fall to the ground. Damon comes from behind and stabs Klaus, and Katherine gives me blood quickly before bombing the hybrids behind. The blood is what kept me awake.
From what I could tell, I saw Stefan stop Damon from killing Klaus, then Klaus stakes Mikael with the white oak, killing him.
"Why aren't you healing?" Katherine asks me.
"It takes longer to heal— is it healing?" I ask Katherine, attempting to stand up.
"Surprisingly, yeah." Katherine says.
"It's because she's fighting the curse. She's using the extra strength and fighting off the negative disadvantages. It comes with practice, but this happening is earlier than expected." Klaus says and Katherine zooms off.
—
Damon brings me back to the boarding house, and I did fall asleep.
"Ash." I hear Damon saying and I wake up. "Are you okay?" Damon asks and I nod.
"Was Mikael planning to do that?" I ask.
"I think so. Stay the night, it's late." Damon says and Elena walks in and sits on the couch with me.
"Can you promise me something, Damon." I ask and he nods. "If I start to develop feelings for Klaus in any way, knock some sense into me, as a huntress, love is heightened and even if he killed my mom, I don't think it'll stop me."
"Of course."

Fall of a Civilization - Modern Apocalypse
Today was an ordinary day. The same day as every day. The start of a monotonous day for some while being an exciting one for others. Today was supposed to be the latter for me. My first day in an abroad country, coming here for my studies. But everything changed when the world started spewing monstrosities, abhorrent creatures, and powers. This is the story following Rudy, who gets trapped in a foreign country when the world decided to metaphorically flip its table. If the [horror] tag didn't already tell you, this story tries to give more focus to the monsters than other Litrpg's and also intends to have a much more serious tone. My writing may be sub-par as I am a starting writer, but I promise to strive and improve as I keep writing along with your feedback and response. Updates will be at every 3 days.
