《Youth || Klaus Mikaelson》10

"What's going on?" I ask my brother who called me.
"Well, I showered. I shaved. Had breakfast. Very relaxed." Damon tells me.
"That makes one of us." I say, and sigh.
"Where's the stubborn cousins at?" Damon asks. "I expected to hear them gossiping or stressing out in the background."
"Well, Elena's right inside reading a Gilbert journal. But I don't know where Ash is. She hasn't talked to me or Elena since last night." I explain to Damon.
"She probably is still sleeping, relax." Damon laughs it off but I was worried, for Ashley.
"Damon, you do know it's 2 in the afternoon and the fact that Ash doesn't sleep in, right? Something's wrong." I say.
"The kiddo is scared, she knows Elijah wants Elena and her to die. She almost died last night. She knows Klaus is so close to finding out about her. And she's the huntress. She just found out a whole ton of info about herself in a small amount of time. It does a number on you." Damon explains.
"Well obviously she's scared. She's still so young and has to deal with all of this, it's not fair. Look, I got to go." I hang up seeing Ash talking to Elena.
—
Stefan comes back inside and eyes Elena, and she immediately looks away. Then she looks back at Stefan, so does Stefan then he looks away.
"Are you still mad?" Elena asks and i furrow my eyebrows, but decide not to say anything.
"Yeah, I'm still mad." Stefan replies putting his hands on his hips.
"We had a difference of opinion, Stefan, we're not always gonna agree on everything." Elena says.
"Elena, you've agreed to sacrifice yourself to Klaus. At least Ash was using the deal to try and keep herself alive. To say that we have a difference of opinion is the understatement of the century." Stefan says.
"You most definitely know." I say, interrupting their argument.
"What does Jonathan Gilbert have to say?" Stefan asks, knowing i was referring to the journal.

"A lot. Elena told me the insane things he wrote in his journal. That he kept from the founding families. Here." I say giving Stefan the journal. "You're like the villain in the journal, very weird."
"We were, uh, we were angry at the founding families for what they did to Katherine. We wanted revenge. I didn't know about Jonathan Gilbert's ring yet. I didn't know that he would survive." Stefan explains.
"He describes you as a monster." Elena said and Stefan nods.
"That's what I was. I want you both to know the truth... but I want you to hear it from me." Stefan says.
"In the weeks after I became a vampire, I relished in it. I took it to the darkest place I could. I wasn't myself then. I was full of guilt. What I did to my father. To my brother. I had to turn it off. It was the only way I could survive." Stefan explains.
"It sounds like you were Damon."
"I was worse." Stefan responds to Elena and i furrow my eyebrows. "For weeks I kept spiraling. I was completely driven by the desire for blood. Hunt, prey, kill. That was all I knew."
"How come nobody noticed what you were doing?" I ask.
"Mmm. There was a war going on. The thing about wartime. Endless, anonymous blood supply. Alexia Branson, as she was known back then."
"Oh my god, like the Lexi?" I ask and he nods. "I miss her. That's a way to meet her." I say and Stefan laughs.
"She heard it was a good place for vampires. You know, had no idea that they'd all been massacred. Needed a place to crash, so I brought her home with me." Stefan keeps talking about Lexi and get uncomfortable, since Damon did kill her.
"Do you need a minute?" I ask Stefan and he shakes his head.
—
It has been hours. Elena has been talking with Stefan while I have been reading Jonathan Gilbert's journal.

"Guys, he researched about the originals." I shout out and they both come quickly walking in. "Is this how to kill them?" I ask pointing at the scribble of a dagger.
"The wood from one tree and one tree alone, an ancient white oak would bring death to an original vampire. But the ash from the tree was saved and witches forged a dagger to which the ash could be bonded. This alchemical bond provides the necessary poison."
"Ash, Elena, the dagger exists. John gave it to Damon." Stefan says which cause me and Elena to both look up.
"John gave Damon the weapon that's supposed to kill Elijah?" Elena asks. "This one?"
"Let me keep reading." I say beginning to read. "It must be brandished by humans alone, for it will bring death to all demons who wield it." I say and Stefan takes the book from me. "I would call Damon if I was you." I say.
"John's trying to get Damon killed." Stefan rushes to call Damon, but he doesn't answer.
"I can call Alaric. Since you failed to mention you are obviously planning on killing Elijah." I say.
"Do you know everything?" Stefan asks and I nod.
"It's a huntress thing... apparently. I'll call Alaric." I take out my phone and dial Alarics number and he answers.
"Ash is everything ok?" Alaric asks.
"No. Listen. I was reading a Gilbert journal and found out that if a vampire uses the dagger it will kill them. Only humans can use the dagger." I explain.
"On it." Alaric quickly hangs up.
—
Damon arrives to the lake house as fast as he can from finding out you have to keep the dagger in the body of the original for them to be dead. And he didn't do that.
"Plan is Elena distracts Elijah from in here. Me and Stefan stay hidden. Little Sommers you take this." Damon hands me a cross bow. "And you will use this for your protection and dagger him from behind." Damon says.
"Are you up to this?" Stefan asks and I nod. "Stand by this bush. Element of surprise is the key" Stefan tells me and I nod. "He's here. You got this?" Stefan says.
"Yeah. I think so. I'll be by this bush hiding for now." I say crouching down. Elijah throws something at the door, breaking it down.
"You know, I might not be able to enter this house... but I'm a very patient man. I'll wait you out." Elijah says and I see Elena walk closer to the door frame.
"They shouldn't have done what they did." Elena says.
"The deal is off." Elijah replies.
"I'm renegotiating." Elena says.
"You have nothing left to negotiate with." Elijah says and Elena pulls out a knife.
"I'd like to see you lure Klaus into Mystic Falls after the doppelgänger bleeds to death." Elena tells Elijah.
"Stefan won't let you die."
"No, he won't. He'll feed me his blood to heal me, and then I'll kill myself and become a vampire, just like Katherine did. So unless you want that to happen again, promise me the same as before— promise me... you won't harm anyone me and Ash love. Even if they've harmed you." Elena tells Elijah.
"I'm sorry, Elena. I'm going to have to call your bluff." Elijah tells Elena, and Elena gets ready to stab herself, and she did. I walk quietly towards Elijah.
"Yes. Yes, you can have your deal. Let me heal you. I give you my word." Elijah says and Elena falls into Elijah arms and i dagger him from behind.
"Stefan, Damon!" I yell as Elena falls to the ground. Stefan goes and feeds her and Damon looks at me.
"You good?" Damon asks and I nod.
"I think so. I mean, I did it and Elena's going to be ok." I smile.
"Little tip. Don't pull the dagger out." Damon states the obvious.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Skeleton Sovereign?
A lawyer, along with ten thousand other people, is kidnapped by the Heavenly Demon of Decay to participate in a campaign against the Monarch of Everglades. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, has chosen these ten thousand people to be the captains of his 100 man squads, saying that beings of lower realms are easier to boost temporarily. Our lawyer didn’t complain much at that. A generic hero summoned to another world setting, he thought. And as he didn’t have any family or much attachment to his previous world, he even liked his situation. But that was until he found out, that the “Heavenly Demon of Decay” was a necromancer. And that he along with millions of other humans, and various beings, were processed into undead soldiers. ‘Well fuck!’, he thought. And after being equipped with high quality equipment, and being robbed of his free will, he marched, along with billions of other horrifying undead, against the Monarch of the Everglades. But his poor luck didn’t end there. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, and his army lost. But the worst part was, they left him behind while retreating. Now, he is stuck behind in a huge jungle, full of various monsters, where every moment he must struggle for his life. But isn’t he already dead? This thought only serves to incense him further. But that is not all to his story, he finds that he is in a different, more powerful world, where wizards, warriors, dragons, dungeons but most importantly “CULTIVATION” exists. Albeit not very Chinese, but cultivation nonetheless. But, can a skeleton even cultivate? Not a native english speaker. So don't expect impeccable grammar. Although I do try my best, this is also my first novel so pointers are appreciated. Haters, just stop reading if you don't like it. Please don't spoil my mood by evil comments.

It will implied mpreg on small group of people in my story. It does not effect or drive the story. As the story continues there would be information through a character, but it would be short lived. Also there are many LGBTQ characters. If you don’t wish to see this then don’t read the story. Thank for understanding. The Casle art belongs to Tabor on Pixabay. I modify the cover that relates to my story.
