《Youth || Klaus Mikaelson》08

"Now that you've got this back, what are you gonna do with it?" Elena asks Bonnie, referring that they got the Moon Stone from Katherine, which there were complications. I took an off day from supernatural drama.
"Right now, it's what's binding the sun and moon curse. If I can figure out a way to remove the spell from the stone, the stone becomes useless." Bonnie explains.
"Then Klaus becomes vengeful." I say and Elena looks at me worried.
"Maybe. If he finds out." Bonnie says and I shrug.
"Bonnie, can't this wait?" Elena asks. "Stefan is stuck in the tomb with Katherine. We've gotta get him out." Elena says worried about Stefan. Stefan went in the tomb so Katherine wouldn't hurt Jeremy when getting the Moon Stone.
"Stefan wants me to focus on this." Bonnie truthfully says.
"Don't listen to him. He thinks he's protecting me and Ashley, but he's wrong." Elena says.
"I don't understand why you don't want their help. I'm grateful they want us alive. Let them try at least. Don't be a martyr." I tell Elena.
"I'm taking Stefan and Ash's side with this one. We're not gonna let you and Ash get used in some creepy sacrifice ritual." Bonnie takes the Moon Stone from Elena's hands.
"What are you guys arguing about?" Jeremy walks in hearing us bickering.
"Not arguing about anything." Bonnie puts the Moon Stone in her bag, and looks at Jeremy. I knew they were up to something. "I need a coffee."
Jeremy stays and stares Elena down.
"What?" Elena asks.
"Why are you on some suicide mission?" Jeremy asks.
"I'm trying to prevent everyone else from getting hurt." Elena replies. I get where she's coming from but if they can do something so we don't die, I'll take the help.
"Oh, so bringing Klaus the Moon Stone so you can get yourself killed is ok?" Jeremy says, then walks out and i follow him.
"What are you up to?" I ask him and he furrowed his eyebrows.
"How did you—"
"Get Huntress instincts and feelings... or whatever." I explain and he nods. "And why is Elena in a hurry?" I ask.
"Come." Jeremy says and we go back into her room and see she took the Moon stone. "She took the Moon Stone." Jeremy tells Bonnie.
"Klaus killed Katherine's entire family just because she crossed him. I can't let that happen." Elena continues going down the stairs, but she couldn't get out of the house.
"Really Bon? A boundary spell?" I ask.
"It's only for Elena. You can leave since I know you wouldn't take it and offer yourself up."
—
"Hey, you should really lock your door." Damon teases since Elena can't go out of the house. "Oh, come on, pouty. At least give me 2 points for ingenuity."

"Do you think this is funny?" Elena asks.
"Yes, Elena. I find hilarity in the lengths that I have to go to repeatedly save your life." Damon sarcastically says.
"What did Stefan say about you locking Elena up in her own house?" I ask Damon.
"We had a good laugh." Damon smirks.
"And what did he say about Elijah still being alive?" Elena asks Damon.
"Yeah... that. I didn't tell him." Damon says and I roll my eyes.
"Of course you didn't." I quietly mumble under my breath. "Why didn't you?" I ask Damon.
"Well, A— he can't do anything about it, and B... what I just said." Damon gets a phone call and answers it. "Change of plans. You baby-sit. You're with me little Sommers."
We get in the car and you sigh. "You ok?" Damon asks.
"Yeah, just stressed out about what Katherine told me specifically. I know Elena told you everything, so can you do me a favor?" I ask Damon.
"Yeah, of course. And Elena told me, obviously." Damon smirks.
"If Klaus gets to me to you know, romantically. I want you to annoy me, talk sense to me, even hurt me if you have to. You can't let me— let him take over like that. Elena won't do it, you're honest, brutal, so I need you to do this cause I won't know better and you know that. You can't let it happen, ok?"
"Yeah, of course kiddo. Elena told me how you broke down. Never seen that before." Damon says which makes me laugh.
—
I get home hours later after Damon drags me around, going to mystic grille. I think Damon just wanted to make sure I wasn't depressed or anything like that.
"Hey mom. What are you doing?" I ask my mom who is looking for something in a closet.
"Oh. Perfect timing." Jenna says handing me a very heavy box.
"What is this stuff?" I ask.
"Your aunt's files from the historical society. I got roped into helping Mrs. Lockwood. And by roped, I mean very excited to participate." My mom closes the closest door, and I see Elijah.
I jump. He was invited in. "Hey. I'm Elijah." He says and my heart beats rapidly increases.
"Elijah's in town doing research on Mystic Falls." My mom says, oblivious on why he's actually here. Elijah puts his hand out for me to shake it, I didn't want to, and I didn't. He moves his hand away from me.
The tension between our eyes showed that I was scared and he was up to something. And I didn't want him anywhere near my mom.
"So you know, you're welcome to stay here and rummage through this stuff, or Ashley and I could help you load it into your car." Jenna suggests.

"Yeah, or I can get someone to pick it up tomorrow." Elijah says and Jenna nods.
"Also a good plan."
"Thank you so much for inviting me into your home, Jenna. And, Ashley..." Elijah says which makes me quickly turn around. "I hope to see you again sometime soon." Elijah walks away.
I immediately run up to stairs. I knock on Jeremy's room since it's the closest door to the stairs. I knock on the door, no answer. Then I was about to walk in but Elijah removed my hand from the doorknob.
Then, Jeremy comes out and Elijah indicates for me not to say anything. "What is it?" Jeremy asks.
"Um, my mom was just asking me to... get you to help her with the boxes." I say and Jeremy nods walking down the stairs.
"That's a wise choice." Elijah tells me and I cross my arms.
"What do you want?" I ask.
"I think it's time you, Elena, and I had a little chat." Elijah says
—
"Oh, forgive the intrusion. I mean your family no harm." Elijah says, which I don't believe.
"Why did you kill those vampires when they tried to take me?" Elena asks.
"Because I didn't want you to be taken, that goes for you too Ashley. Klaus is the most feared and hated of the originals, but those they fear him are desperate for his approval. If word gets out that the doppelgänger and the Huntress exists, there'll be a line of vampires eager to take you both to him, and i can't have that."
"Well, aren't you not helping stopping the word that's there's another doppelgänger alive get out in the world?" I ask.
"When I came I didn't know there was another doppelgänger. I came because I found out there was another huntress. Didn't know it was the one, but point is Ashley I would be worried about yourself. Rumor is this close to reaching Klaus, he'll come here and he'll find you and Elena." Elijah explains.
"But isn't that exactly what you're trying to do?" Elena asks.
"Let's just say that my goal is not to break the curse. Klaus' obsessions have made him paranoid. He's a recluse. He trusts only those in his immediate circle." Elijah tells us.
"Like you?" I ask.
"Not anymore." Elijah says, shaking his head.
"You don't know where he is, do you." I say more as a statement than a question. Elijah stays silent. "So you're trying to use me and Elena to draw him out."
"Well, to do that, I need Elena to stay put and stop trying to get herself killed." Elijah focuses his attention onto Elena now.
"How do I know you're telling the truth?" Elena asks.
"Well, if I wasn't being truthful, all your family would be dead and I'd be taken by you to Klaus right now. Or just ask Ashley she'll know." Elijah says looking at me. "But I can offer you guys a deal."
"What kind of deal?" I ask.
"Do nothing. Do nothing, live your life, stop fighting. And then, when the time is right, you both and I shall draw Klaus out together, and I shall make certain that your friends remain unharmed." Elijah explains.
"And then what?" I ask, crossing my arms.
"Then i kill him."
"Just like that?" I ask.
"Just like that. I'm a man of my word, Ashley. I make a deal, I keep a deal."Elijah says and Elena furrows her eyebrows.
"How are you going to be able to keep everybody safe?" Elena asks.
"You know, I notice you have a friend, Bonnie, is it? She seems to possess the gift of magic. I have friends with similar gifts." Elijah explains.
"You know witches."
"Together we can protect everybody that matters to you. So do we have a deal?" Elijah asks.
"If you do us a favor." I say and Elijah looks at me.
"Are you trying to negotiate with me?" Elijah asks. "Again. You know you're like the other huntress from—"
"1492. Yeah, so I'm told. I need you to get Stefan out of the tomb." I say putting my hands on my hips, waiting for Elijah to answer.
"We have a deal."
—
"Elena?" I walk into her room and see Stefan and Elena. "I would tell you to get a room but it was me who interrupted."
"Is everything, ok?" Stefan asks.
"When we made the deal with Elijah earlier and Elena asked how do we know if Elijah is lying or not. I got a feeling, more of my mind telling me something." I say and they both furrow their eyebrows.
"What did you feel?" Elena asks. "Is he telling the truth?" Elena asks and I shrug my shoulders.
"He is, but I have a feeling there's more to it. Like he's not being completely truthful. I know he wants us alive but there's just something I'm missing." I say and they could tell I'm stressed out from not knowing what else Elijah is going to do.
"Do you want to stay in here? I can leave if you want." Stefan says and I shake my head.
"No, stay. I just wanted to tell you that. Me being stressed and scared shouldn't make you leave. I'll be in my room." I say.
"Come back in here if you need anything." Elena says and i smile.

The Caring Dungeon
NOTE: I, as an 'author' am on a(n) (indefinite?) Hiatus. Without getting into too many details, the person who convinced me to write, who was my muse and my everything, is no longer in my life. I think about writing and I get physically ill and ache in ways that transcend the physical. I want to want to write, but I cannot find the energy. Life events, combined with apparently thin-skin when it comes to personal attacks on this platform, make it impossible for me. The messages, comments, and reviews I recieve(d) were so detrimental to my mental health that I've already removed one story from this website. This one remains up only because the criticisms located in this work are about my writing, and not personal attacks.I just felt like I should put something out there for anyone who is thinking about starting this story. It is not completed. I don't know that it ever will be at this point. I have lost my muse.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Not everything in this world is natural, and it's only natural to fear the unnatural. Fortunately for Manning, he was natural. Unfortunately, he found himself to be in a very unnatural state. Manning was trapped inside of a gemstone, called a dungeon core. Luckily for Manning, he found himself capable of using his newly found unnatural power to make a nature filled forest. With the help of Cara, his unnatural roommate, and Ash, his nature spirit companion, Manning dreams of covering the continent with the most beautiful and dangerous forest it has ever seen. His only other goals are to protect himself and Cara, and if he could ever remember, recover his memories. This is my first time attempting to write anything.
