《Youth || Klaus Mikaelson》06

I wake up on a couch and hear Elena talking to someone. I feel my head and feel dried up blood and a cut.
"Trevor!" I hear a girl shout, which makes me open my eyes all the way. "Control yourself." She tells a man, Trevor.
"What a buzzkill, Rose." Trevor says walking away.
"My god, you look just like her." Rose says to Elena.
"But I'm not. Please, whatever you want—" Elena says, but Rose interrupts her.
"Be quiet."
"But I'm not Katherine. My name is Elena Gilbert. You don't have to do this."
"I know who you are. I said be quiet." The girl, Rose slightly shouts. Elena tries to say something else but Rose slaps her across the face.
—
Elena wakes up again.
"Lena, shh." I tell her, since Trevor and Rose are vampires.
"Are you okay?" Elena asks.
"I'm lightheaded, that's all." I tell her, and we go and eas drop on them.
"Look, it's not too late, we don't have to go through with this." We hear the guy say.
"I'm sick of running." Rose tells Trevor.
"Yeah? Well, running keeps us from dying." Trevor shouts.
"Elijah is old school. If he accepts our deal, we're free." Rose says, Elena steps forward and the wood floor creaks. "You! There's nothing around here for miles. If you guys think you're getting out of this house, you're tragically wrong. Understand?"
"Yeah, but who's Elijah?" I ask.
"He's your worst nightmare." Rose says to Elena. "Including you, Ashley." Rose looks at me, which makes me furrow my eyebrows. Why me?
—
"Why are we here?" Elena asks Rose.
"You keep asking me these questions like I'm gonna answer them." Rose responds.
"Why won't you?"
"That's another one." Rose responds to Elena.
"You got me. Ok? It's not like we can go anywhere. The least you can do is tell me what you want with me and Ashley." Elena says.
"I personally want nothing. I'm just a delivery service." Rose says.
"Delivery to Elijah?" I ask.
"Finally you speak. 2 points to you." Rose tells me and I cross my arms.
"Who is he?" I ask.
"He's one of the vampires, the originals." Rose replies, which me and Elena furrow our eyebrows.
"What do you mean, the originals?" I ask another questions.
"Again with the questions. Haven't the Salvatore's been teaching you your vampire history?"
"So, you know Stefan and Damon." Elena says.
"I know of them. A hundred years back, a friend of mine tried to set me up with Stefan. She said he was one of the good ones. I'm more of a sucker for the bad boys, though? But I digress." Rose explains.
"So who are the originals?" I ask. "And don't small talk just explain it how it is." I say annoyed.
"Trevor and I have been running for 500 years. We're tired. We want it over. We're using you and Elena to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess." Rose explains.

"But why me? I understand Elena is important because Katherine's her doppelgänger, but I'm normal." I ask.
"Oh, you are definitely the opposite of normal. On others you realize later in life, but you should be noticing that you have instincts and feelings."
"Everyone has those." I say.
"And have you always been right about those instincts?" Rose asks and I nod. "Ok, so let's test something." Rose throws a random stick at me as fast as she can I catch it.
"How did I do that?" I ask. "That should've been impossible."
"It is impossible. Your bloodline is special, Ashley. Every century, the Sommers' bloodline births one huntress. History has been waiting for the huntress that can actually handle it all. Rumor has it that you're the one."
"What do you mean Huntress, and the rumors?" I ask.
"You get certain instincts and when you learn to fight, you'll be stronger than ever before, but there are certain disadvantages that will make you want to die. The rumor is that there's a Huntress roaming the earth and that this one is the one. And the huntress and the doppelgänger are the key to breaking the curse." Rose explains.
"Curse?" Elena says. "The sun and the moon curse?" Elena asks and Rose nods her head.
"Ohh. You do know your history."
"What do you mean we are the key? The Moon Stone is what breaks the curse." Elena says.
"No. The Moon Stone is what binds the curse. Sacrifice us what breaks it. The blood of the doppelgänger and the blood of the huntress. You're the doppelgänger and Ashley is the huntress. Which means in order to break the curse, you guys are the one that has to die." Rose says which makes scared.
"Tell us more." I demand and Trevor walks in.
"Captivity has made her pushy, eh?" Trevor asks. "What do you want to know?"
"Who are you running from?" I ask.
"The originals." Trevor responds, which I already knew.
"Yeah, she said that. What does that mean. Like who are the originals?" I ask.
"The first family. The old world. Rose and I pissed 'em off. Correction— I pissed them off. Rose had my back. And for over half a millennium, they've wanted us dead." Trevor explains.
"What did you do?" Elena asks.
"He made the same mistake countless others did. He trusted Katerina Petrova." Rose says annoyed.
"I helped her escape her fate. And now I've— sorry, we've— been marked ever since." Trevor says.
"Which is why we're not gonna make the same mistake again." Rose tells us and Trevor walks away with her.

I head to the couch, still feeling lightheaded from when me and Elena basically got kidnapped last night.
"Ash, are you good?" Elena asks, following me.
"I'm still so lightheaded. Did I lose that much blood?" I ask Elena but she shrugs.

"I hope that's the reason cause if not you probably have a concussion of some sort. Do you think Stefan is coming for us?" Elena asks and I shrug.
"I don't know, but I hope so. I mean, we both just found out we have to get sacrifice. And that I'm suppose to be the one and with that comes advantages and disadvantages." I say.
"Are you ok?" Elena ask.
"I mean, I'll be fine. But I'm still terrified. No, you know what, I'll be ok." I assure her, but I see Elena furrow her eyebrows. "What is it?" I ask.
Elena pulls out a piece of paper from her pocket. She passes me the paper which says,
"Damon and Stefan are coming for you both
-B"
I smile, knowing we will finally be going home soon.
—
"He's here. This was a mistake." Trevor walks in, terrified.
"No, i told you I would get us out of this. You have to trust me." Rose says.
"No! He wants me dead, Rose!" Trevor shouts.
"He wants them more."
"I can't do this. You give her to him, he'll have mercy on you, but I need to get out of here." Trevor replies.
"Hey. What are we?" Rose asks Trevor.
"We're family. Forever." Trevor says and a second later there is banging on the door, which echoed throughout the whole house.
"Stay here with them, and don't make a sound." Rose walks away and me and Elena just look at each other.
We see a man walk in, tall, wearing a suit, and slicked back hair, but not too slicked back. He uses vampire speed to come to us, which is 100x faster than Damon or Stefan can run.
He walks up to Elena and analyzes her. "Human. It's impossible."
"Well, I said the same thing about me being a huntress and catching a random stick at the speed that you just ran at." I say and the man looks at me.
"Sommers' bloodline. She is most definitely the huntress." He says. "Hello there." He says to me and Elena. "Well, we have a long journey ahead of us. We should be going."
"Please, don't let him take us." Elena tells Rose, but she just looks down.
"One last piece of business. Then we're done." Elijah says, then walks over to Trevor. They basically small talk, he let Rose have her freedom, but his decapitated Trevor, which led to his death.
I was breathing so heavily and shaking so much right now, and on top of that I am so lightheaded that I might pass out.
"Come." Elijah demands, and I could tell Elena was as scared as I was.
"No, what about the Moon Stone?" I ask.
"What do you know about the Moon Stone?" Elijah walks closer to me, which makes my heart beat rapidly increase.
"I know that you need the stupid pink rock, and I know where it is." I explain.
"Yes."
"I can help you get it." I respond back to Elijah.
"Tell me where it is." Elijah says but I shake my head.
"It doesn't work that way." I reply.
"Are you negotiating with me?" Elijah asks. "Well, that's a first. You're stubborn, like all the other huntresses. But you defend yourself, definitely the first." Elijah says, then tries to compel me, but I'm on vervain.
Then he tries to compel Elena, but she wears vervain, she doesn't drink it. "What is this vervain doing around your neck?" Elijah rips her necklace from Elena's neck and throws it to the ground.
"Tell me where the Moon Stone is." Elijah compels Elena, and it works.
"In the tomb underneath the church ruins." Elena responds.
"What is it doing there?" Elijah asks.
"It's with Katherine."
"Interesting." Elijah says, but then we all hear glass shatter, and I instantly knew it was Damon and Stefan. "What is that?" Elijah asks.
"I don't know." Rose responds honestly.
"Who else is in this house?" Elijah asks.
"I don't know." Rose says again. Elijah grabs me and Elena and pulls us by the main door. We see a vampire circle around us. And then another.
"Up here." I hear Stefan say. Elijah speeds up the stairs.
"Down here." I hear Damon say. Then me, Elena. And rose vanish in a second. I was about to scream scared, but Damon covers my mouth.
"Excuse me. To whom it may concern, you're making a great mistake if you think that you can beat me. You can't. You hear that? I repeat— you cannot beat me. So if I want the girls on the count of 3, or heads will roll."
"Can you handle this?" Damon whispers holding up vervain grenades. I nod, I had no idea if I can handle it, but if it will help Damon and Stefan with their plan, then I'll do it.
"Me and Elena will come with you. Just please don't hurt my friends. They just wanted to help me out." I say and Elijah runs up to me, making me jump.
"What game are you playing with me?" Elijah asks and I throw the vervain grenades, which barely worked. Stefan shoots Elijah, then Damon kills him. Rose vanishes, which me and Elena weren't worried about.
Elena runs to Stefan, and I could tell Damon was a little sad. "Don't worry I'll give you a hug." I tease him and he gives me a very tight hug.
"Are you ok?" Damon asks. " you did it."
"I'm fine. I need to go home and rest." I say. We get into the car and we tell them what we found out.
