《Wild Thing (Lesbian Story) (GirlxGirl)》23. Pick-Up Lines

We danced and drank until we could barely stand up without stumbling. It was evident that we both had way too much to drink. The bartenders stopped handing us out drinks because of this, which we should've been really thankful for. If I would've had one more drink, I'd probably be puking for the rest of my lifetime. I hadn't ever been so drunk in my life. My words were falling altogether and it seemed like the only things I was able to do was walk and laugh.
As for Arden, she was just as drunk as me but I think she handled her liquor a little bit better. As we exited the club, she was the one making sure that I didn't fall in my stilettos. It was a good thing that I had her as a crutch because the paparazzi was all outside. If Arden wasn't with me, I'd probably make a fool out of myself in front of all the cameras. The paparazzi somewhat caught me off guard because they weren't there when we first entered the nightclub. They must've gotten a tip that we were there. I imagined them waiting outside of the clubs for hours, awaiting for our exit.
The paparazzi pointed and flashed their cameras right in our faces as if they hadn't seen of us in ages. Since we've been in Melbourne, I guess we had been laying a bit low. I wasn't doing much on social media because I was too focused on Arden and her family. But today, we were sure to be the headline of some ridiculous article. They asked me a ton of questions, but all I did was laugh in their faces. They looked so funny with my blurry vision.
"Hey! Let's see if I can pose just as well as you, kitten," I heard Arden yell over the questions from the reporters. She let go of me and I nearly fell over but I caught my balance just in time. As I regained my posture, Arden began posing for the pictures that the paparazzi was snapping. My stupid, drunk little laugh got louder as I watched my girlfriend do the goofiest poses I've ever seen in my life! I was drunk and could barely stand on my feet and could still do better!
The paparazzi was eating this up and I knew Arden was going to be a main topic on TMZ by the morning. Tomorrow she'd probably wake up with nothing but embarrassment. So, to be a good girlfriend, I joined in the humiliation as well. I began posing with my girlfriend, striking awkward poses that I knew were absolutely hideous. Some of the reporters were loving every second of it as others just began walking away since they weren't getting any juicy details. All we were giving to them was silly f-cking poses and I guess that wasn't good enough for them.
Once we ran out of poses and the functionality to even control our bodies, Arden wrapped her arm around me and led me to the car where we had a chauffeur. Arden sloppily got into the car first and she slowly slid her way to the corner. Instead of getting in, I literally fell into the backseat like an idiot. I fell right on Arden and my head landed on her lap. In the corner of my eye, I could see the driver rolling his eyes before closing the door. "Put on your seatbelt, kitten," Arden's responsible drunk side told me as she buckled herself up. I was still laying across the backseat with my head on her lap. I didn't even think I could sit up. It was like my body had malfunctioned.

She chuckled as she stared down at me. When she saw I wasn't going to move, she helped me sit up and even buckled me in like a child. I was a bit upset although because it seemed like there was a huge gap between us. I reached my hand over to her with a childish pout. "Baby! You're so far away!"
"I'm right here, kitten," she calmed me as she took my hand. She brought it to her lips and gave it a soft kiss. I giggled as she caressed her thumb against the back of my hand and I leaned into her. That's when I realized there was no gap between us. I was literally sitting right beside her!
When we got back to her mother's place, all of the lights were out. As if we were sneaky teenagers, we snuck in as quietly as we could as we somewhat loudly shushed each other. I had taken off my heels and was tiptoeing into her house with a stupid grin on my face. Arden followed behind me with a finger to her lips. She closed the door a little too loudly. "Dammit," I heard her say behind me. I quickly turned to face her and shushed her.
"You shush," she told me with her eyebrows furrowed. She put her hands on my mouth and wrapped her arm around my waist. I was so damn drunk that I stumbled back and fell onto the couch in the living area. Arden fell along with me. We both began laughing loudly at how stupid and drunk we were. If her mother wasn't awake before she definitely was now.
Staring in each other's eyes, we laughed as if we both had some hilarious joke written on our foreheads. We chuckled until we both simultaneously became quiet. That's when we grinned at each other without saying a f-cking word. Arden was still laying on top of me, in the same way that she had fallen and she wasn't making an effort to get up.
"If you were a vegetable, you'd be a cute-cumber," she told me a schoolgirl giggle. I snickered at the lame pick-up line and just how adorable she could be. I brought my hands up to her cheeks and kissed her lips softly. All I could taste was the vodka that she had previously.
"Does your left eye hurt, baby? Because you've been looking right all night," I retorted to her once I pulled away from the kiss. She laughed at my very own pick-up line before kissing my cheek.
"You're perfect, Mira," she mumbled.
That night, we both ended up crashing on the couch. We told each other corny pick-up lines until we both fell asleep. The next morning, I was the first one to wake up with the strongest urge to puke. I ran to the bathroom and let out everything I could into the toilet. This definitely wasn't a delightful way to wake up. As I threw up, all I could think about was how I would never drink again, but I knew that I would.
Once I was finished, I decided to go ahead and get ready for the day. I brushed my teeth, took a shower and got dressed and then went into the kitchen where Arden's mom was eating a bowl of cereal. "Grab you a bowl, honey. I'm sorry, but I can't be bothered with cooking breakfast this morning," she told me a sweet smile.
I smiled back at her and grabbed a bowl and the box of cereal that was on the table. I wasn't too crazy about Cheerios, but it'll do. "It's no problem, Lydia. I don't need a hot and fresh breakfast every morning. Cheerios will do."

I engaged myself in friendly conversation with Arden's mother. She began telling me about the plans she had for later, but she told me I couldn't tell Arden. Supposedly, Lydia had invited the whole family over since Arden hadn't seen them in a while. Everyone was going to be here at the house from her cousins to her uncles to her aunts to the kind of creepy, but still close to the family neighbor that lived down the street. They were all going to be here and we were going to have a very nice, family BBQ. I really couldn't wait. I'd get to meet even more of Arden's family and since her mother wanted to keep it a surprise, I'm sure Arden would love it. She seemed pretty close with everyone in her family.
"Look who's finally up and dressed," I told Arden around one in the afternoon. She had just gotten ready and all of her close relatives were bound to show up any minute now. My goal was to keep Arden inside until everyone showed up outside. When everyone was here, someone was supposed to sound their horn three times repeatedly then there would be a loud car door slam and I was able to bring Arden out for the surprise. At the moment, her mother was out 'gardening', but really she was getting the grill prepared for when her uncle showed up with the food. Everything was going as it was planned and I assumed Arden had no clue since she had just woken up not too long ago.
My girlfriend sat down beside me on the couch and gave me a light kiss on the cheek. Her arm wrapped around me and I snuggled into her. She looked really good today and all she was wearing was a basic white sweater and denim jeans. It was amazing how she could make a basic style look so phenomenal. "Do you want to go out for brunch, kitten?"
"I'm not too hungry," I replied to her. I had to make sure that she didn't step a foot out of the house. She couldn't even look out of the window on my watch. Her mother had purposely had all the curtains closed so she couldn't see out the windows. It was just up to me to keep everything at bay.
"We can go on a walk then," she suggested.
"No, baby," I said simply. I couldn't really think of a reason not to go for a walk without making everything obvious so I just said no. She gave me a funny look and then pouted. To make sure she didn't suggest anything else, I moved myself so I was sitting on her lap. "Why would we go for a walk when we can get all the exercise we need right here," I whispered as I leaned up so my lips were to her ear. "Your mother's outside gardening so that gives us some time to...do some very naughty things on the couch."
Arden licked her lips as she stared at me with those piercing, blue eyes. Her hands met my hips and she grasped them firmly. "Why are you being such a bad girl right now," she asked me with her lips amongst my neck. My breath quickened and I gulped. I really wasn't expecting this turn into sex, but I wasn't complaining. "First, you tell me 'no.' Now, you're asking for me to f-ck you on my mum's plastic covered couch. Do you need a spanking, kitten?" I bit down on my lip harshly as her hands began moving lower.
I was about to answer her question, but then I heard three honks and a door slam. F-ck! Quickly, I got off of Arden before things could escalate any further. God knows I wanted it to, but I couldn't risk her family walking in on us. Plus, I couldn't let her mom down. I promised I'd make sure Arden came out when needed to be. It made the surprise even better, according to her. "Um, let's go for a walk, baby!"
"Uggh! Why are you f-cking with me, Mira? I thought we were going to f-ck!"
"After the walk!"
"Why do you need to walk before sex, kitten!?"
"I need to cherish my legs now because I know when you get done, I won't be able to walk," I replied cleverly. Arden huffed and got up from the couch. She walked over to me and put her hands on my waist as she backed me into the wall.
"But I want it now, kitten," she grumbled into my neck. "Please don't make me wait." Her lips met my neck and I let out a light moan. She was sucking at the nape of my neck slightly as her hands moved lower down my frame. There was another three honks and a door slam outside.
"Baby, please," I moaned out. "We can't. There's someone outside. Didn't you hear?"
"We'll have to just go to my bedroom then, huh?" Arden picked me up and my legs instantly wrapped around her waist. I couldn't resist it anymore and I grabbed her face and kissed her passionately. She smacked my ass as she began leading me towards the bedroom. I wrapped one arm around her and used the other one to slide my hand up her shirt. "I can't f-cking wait to-"
A throat being cleared scared the f-ck out of both us. I instantly jumped off Arden and began fixing my clothing as Arden wiped away at her lip. We both turned to face whomever had cleared their throat. I felt relieved but also embarrassed when I saw Sophia. I thought her mother had walked in on us but it was just her sister. That was way less threatening. "What the f-ck do you want," Arden asked as she stepped in front of me. The last time she talked to her sister she was about to attack her and I see none of the anger between them had settled.
"Just come outside, you d-ck," she rolled her eyes at Arden before walking out the front door. Arden grumbled a few curse words under my breath, but she took my hand and led me out of the front door as well.
When we got out, there was way more people in the front yard than I expected. Nearly the whole front yard was filled with about fifty people. They all screamed, "Surprise" at the same time and Arden seemed as shocked as ever. She looked all around as if it was a dream and then she looked at me.
"That's why I all of a sudden wanted to take a walk," I explained. She kissed my lips quickly before she was attacked by all of her little cousins. They asked her a million questions as I just stood there and smiled. Even if we were basically twatblocked by her family, it was all worth it. She was happy so of course, so was I.

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
