《Wild Thing (Lesbian Story) (GirlxGirl)》22. Faithful

Things between Arden and I were pretty awkward until midday. We both wasn't sure what to say to each other. I was too busy worrying about what else she was doing behind my back and she seemed to feel actually guilty. By the way she said things and her actions, I could tell she felt horrible. She spoke a little too softly to me as if I was a fragile child and went out of her way to display chivalry. All I wanted to hear was that she was sorry and that she'd never touch another girl again but all I got was puppy dog eyes and obsessive gifts at the shops we went to. At least, she fulfilled her promise of not bringing her phone along with her.

It was around noon and we had just arrived to her favorite restaurant in her city. Throughout the car ride, she talked to me about how good the food was and how lovely the service at the restaurant was. Apparently, it was a family-owned restaurant that not a lot of people knew about. When we got there, I wondered if people actually did know about the restaurant but just didn't go. The place looked sanitary enough to eat at but it also needed a bit of renovating. It still had decorations from the '60s, and the walls were a nasty puke green. Even with such an ugly sight, Arden kept the smile plastered on her face.

There was only about five people in all at the restaurant. All old and the only thing they had ordered was coffee. My stomach turned from being so hungry but a part of me didn't want to put anything in my mouth from the restaurant.

"Well, look who's in town," a middle aged lady said as she rushed from behind the counter. She pulled Arden into a tight hug and shook her back and forth. Arden was so tiny compared to the woman with the honey blonde hair. Her stature was tall and pudgy. She wore the biggest smile on her face as she stepped back from the hug. My girlfriend chuckled as she fixed her clothes that she was wearing. "It's the rap star from Hollywood! You never come and see us anymore! Hank, give her, her usual!"

The woman's eyes finally focused on me. They widened a little bit and her smiled dimmed just a slight bit. It wasn't because she was trying to be rude, but I think it was just because she didn't know me. She didn't want to seem too excited, I guess. "And I know who you are. You two are perfect together!" If only she knew what had happened last night and this morning. All the public saw was the good moments I had with Arden so of course they thought we had little to no problems in private but they were so wrong.

Instead of dishing and telling the woman across from me that she had everything all wrong, I just smiled and nodded my head. In response, Arden wrapped her arm around my waist and kissed my cheek softly. "She's beautiful, isn't she? Probably the most beautiful girl on planet earth. I'm the luckiest woman in the world." At first, I smiled genuinely but then I remembered the girl that was texting her this morning. She was even better looking and if I was the most beautiful girl in the world then why wasn't Arden content. I sighed but brushed off my insecurities when I heard the lady across from me ask me a question.

"What would you like, honey?" Honestly, I wasn't sure that I wanted anything from her old establishment. I looked at the menu that was hanging on the wall and shrugged my shoulders.

"Um, I'll just get what Arden is getting," I decided. Arden had actually ate here before, so many times that they knew her order. If she didn't die from eating whatever she ordered then hopefully I wouldn't either. The lady left us to go in the back and help Hank prepare the food. Arden took my hand and led me to her "favorite booth" in the restaurant.

"That's Patricia. She was kind of like a second mum to me growing up. I'd just run around everywhere and she kept me in check when my mum couldn't, you know?" I heard Arden say the words but it didn't occur to me to respond back. My mind was just running so much that I wasn't focused on reality. She must've noticed I wasn't really listening to her because she instantly stopped talking. Instead, she looked out the window at the cars and people that were passing by. It was truly awkward and I felt bad but I couldn't help how I felt. No matter how much I tried to hide it or how much I said it aloud, I really wasn't okay with Arden being with other girls. All it did was make me feel like I wasn't good enough. I didn't want to be anyone's second best.

I decided to be a big girl and address the situation rather than hide it. The more I hid my feelings, the more Arden was going to think it was okay to sleep around. "I don't like it, Arden," I started out vaguely. She looked towards me and acted as if she was confused, but I knew she wasn't. She knew exactly what I was talking about.

"I can't deal with you sleeping with other women. If you want to do that then you might as well be single. You're with me. You said you loved me so you have to be committed. If you're not willing to stay faithful then we can end this. I don't think you understand how worthless it makes me feel to know that you're having sex with other people. I don't sleep around on you so I don't expect you to sleep around on me. It's a two way street."

It felt so much better saying the words and getting everything off of my chest. Arden sat there across from me with her lips pressed together for a second. Her stare was focused on me and I actually think she understood where I was coming from. She reached out her hand towards me and took mine gently. "All I want is for you to be happy, Mira. I still have some things to work on and temptation has never been something I could so easily dismiss. I'll delete every girl I've ever been with from my phone for you. I will be faithful to you. It's going to be hard because I'm so used to what I've been doing before I dated you so give me time, but I want to be faithful. I want only you. I promise."

She brought my hand up to her lips and gave it a kiss. I was surprised she was so compliant and persistent about actually erasing all of those whores out of her life. It definitely allowed me to let any ounce of stress out of my mind. If Arden said she was going to be faithful for this day on then I believed her.

The food at the restaurant wasn't that bad, but I had much better in my lifetime. Personally, I wouldn't eat there ever again in my life but it was eatable. I think what made the food taste better than what it actually was, was the fact that I was so happy about Arden's explicit declaration to be faithful. I felt like this was a whole new step in our relationship. Usually, being faithful came automatically when two people were in a relationship, but me and her was just getting to this part. To make things even better, the rest of the day with me and her went by well.

It was no longer awkward and everything was back to it was before. We were just laughing as Arden showed me all around her city with pride. She valued where she was from deeply and it was apparent. Any question that I had for her city or her country in general, she could answer it. It was a big surprise. She actually listened when she was in history class back in the days. When I went to school, listening wasn't the best thing I was good at. I was always daydreaming about being a model or gushing to my friends over my high school crush—who now that I think about it wasn't cute at all.

"Damn, kitten. You look good but I think I look better," Arden said as she looked at herself in the mirror. I rolled my eyes at her as I straightened out my dress. We had a pretty innocent day out, looking at the city and exploring but tonight, Arden wanted to take me out to experience the 'Australian' nightlife. Apparently, I needed to get a taste of the nightlife here before we went back to America since it was so much better. I just hoped the adventure out clubbing wasn't lackluster like that restaurant she took me to earlier.

"You're right. You're going to have everyone drooling over you, princess," I mumbled into her ear as I wrapped my arms around her from behind.

She chuckled and put her hands on mine. "Don't call me that."

"Why not, princess," I egged on, just to annoy her even more. My lips fell on her neck and I began leaving soft kisses. I caught her giving me a death glare in the mirror and I giggled a little. A smile spread across Arden's face as she turned to face me. "Come on! I know you secretly like it when I call you that," I continued to tease her.

"I hate it actually," she replied with a dumb smile still on her face. In response, I gave her a disappointed frown. I really didn't care that she didn't like me calling her that, but I just felt like being pitied. Arden rolled her eyes but she also wrapped her arms around me and pulled me close to her. She gave me a soft kiss on the lips which made my frown turn into a smile. "Okay, fine. You can call me 'princess', if you want, kitten," she gave in.

After getting dressed, Arden and I headed straight to the flamboyant nightclub that she claimed was the best in the entire continent of Australia. I thought that was pretty farfetched but hopefully she wasn't leading me wrong. When we got there, the line for the place was wrapped around the block. People were standing outside in their best dressed, staring at their phones as they waited for their time to enter in. Of course, we didn't dare wait in the dreadful line. Arden took my hand and led me all the way to the front.

It seemed a bit awkward just skipping everyone, but I could tell by the gasps when we walked past that everyone recognized us, well at least Arden. We walked up to one of the security guards who was just standing there staring at the line, waiting for someone to do something stupid. When we approached him, his cold glare fell on us. At first, he looked at us as if we were crazy or as if we had some nerve to even approach him. "What's up? I'm Arden Scott and this is my girlfriend, Mira Caspari. Ring a bell, mate? If not, you really need to read up on your pop culture."

Suddenly, the man's eyes lit up and his stare went from cold to a look of realization. "I'm so sorry! My mind was somewhere else! It's really good to see you back home, Scotty." He reached out his hand to my girlfriend and she shook it with a smile.

"I know this is short notice, but can you get us a spot in V.I.P.?"

"Lucky for you, we have one last V.I.P. slot open for tonight." The security guard walked away for a brief second to tell the one guarding the door something. He just nodded and motioned for us to go in. As soon as we stepped in, my ear drums started rattling. The music was so loud and to top that off, I could hear a bunch of people trying to scream over it. When we walked in, there were two girls giving out wristbands. Our security guard friend got them to give us V.I.P. wristbands and then one of them led us towards our section.

Once we got to our section, the first thing I did was look at the crowd of common partygoers who were two levels below us. The dancefloor was packed with bodies and I didn't even understand how anyone managed to dance. People were nearly knocking over people to get drinks at the bars and I swear a few people were literally having sex on the dancefloor. It seemed like Arden wasn't wrong. This nightclub was definitely the most packed and the craziest one I've ever been to. Granted, I don't go to many nightclubs in the first place.

"How are you liking it, kitten," Arden asked me as she walked up beside me. She had two drinks in her hands and I gladly took one. I could definitely use a drink after everything that had been happening lately. I took the shot almost immediately, causing Arden to blink at me. "Damn." I took the second drink from her hand and took that one also which just made her stare at me blankly.

"It's fun," I told her, responding to her first question. I could already feeling the alcohol rushing through my veins. My body was getting hot and I knew after a few more drinks, I'd be all sweaty and clammy.

"Yeah? Just slow down on the drinks. I don't want to have to carry you back," she joked towards me.

I laughed a little before pushing her shoulders. "What are you trying to say!?"

"Nothing, kitten. Just don't overdo it." With that said, Arden went back to the bar to get herself another drink. As she did that, I mindlessly began dancing across the V.I.P. section. I admit when I got a little drunk, I was ditzy and it didn't help that I was a lightweight. A couple of shots could have me stumbling all over the place. I danced my way over to the bar where Arden was filling up herself shot after shot and taking them down. "Sh-t, you're already drunk," she said with amusement. The only thing I could do was giggle in response. "Okay, no more drinks."

A pout came upon my face as I stared at her. "Why not?"

"Because I don't want you puking all over the bed tonight, kitten," she responded. I was about to complain but then the DJ switched to a different song. I wasn't even sure what it was, but I loved the beat.

"Dance with me," I screamed over the music. Before Arden could even open her mouth to reject me, I grabbed her hands and began swinging them.

She chuckled before rolling her eyes. "Fine."

Are you happy that Arden said she'd stop seeing other girls?

Do you think she'll keep her word?
