Yes, I took Kayla back. I honestly don't care what anyone says about me taking her back because firstly, it's my choice I did it and secondly, it's not any of their business. And yes, it will hurt like a bitch if Kayla cheats on me again. It will literally betray all my trust and I could never speak to her again, let alone date her again. Well we aren't necessarily dating...we're together but we just don't have a label.

Kayla has been very happy that I took her back. She hasn't stopped smiling the whole day and I've been spending the whole weekend at Kayla's. I had to go home today though.

It was early morning, probably 9 AM. Kayla was asleep with her arms tightly wrapped around me. She always seemed to be holding me now, as if she was afraid that she would lose me again. We were just wearing a big t shirt and some panties, but we haven't had sex yet. I don't think I want to hop over into that lane too quickly.

I turned over to face Kayla and I softly kissed her on the forehead, causing her to stir slightly. I moved closer to her so I was pressed up against her chest. 

Kayla shifted around for a bit before opening her eyes. "Good morning baby." 

"Good morning." I leaned in to kiss her softly on the lips before pulling away.

Kayla smiled at me and held me closer, as if that was even possible. She started stroking my hair before whispering in my ear, "I love you. I love you so much, you don't have to say it back. I just want you to know I love you."

My heart filled with warmth when she said that. I pulled away from her hug and leaned in to kiss her. It wasn't the soft, delicate kiss we just had when she woke up. It was full of love and emotion. God I made the right choice taking her back.

Kayla pulled away from the kiss and looked deep into my eyes. "Thank you for giving me a second chance. It means the world to me and I promise I won't screw it up. I promise to treat you like you deserve to be treated and fix what I broke. I'm going to spoil you to the max babe."

I stared at her for a moment before smiling and giving her a kiss. Kayla moved shifted her lips to my cheek and started kissing it. Suddenly she licked my cheek, it was a basically a wet slobbery kiss.

"EWWWWW. Gross!" I groaned as I shoved her away.

"No, baby come back!" Kayla said while laughing as she pulled me closer.

I was trying to fight my way out of her arms because there is no way I'm going to let her basically give me a sloppy dog kiss again.

"You're so gross." I groaned as I kept fighting.

Kayla flipped me over so she was on top and she pinned my arms above my head. She leaned down for a kiss but right before our lips touched, I licked her. 

Kayla quickly pulled away and I laughed in victory. "Ha not so great now huh?"

Kayla responded by tackling me into the bed again. We were laughing at each other as her arms were wrapped around me tightly. I ended up laying on her chest with her arms wrapped around me as we were non stop laughing.

"I'm hungry." I said out of the blue.

"Of course you are. But I am too. What do you want to eat?" Kayla said as she kissed my forehead.

"Breakfast food. Duh. Let's eat out this time." 

"Oh yes my favorite. I love eating out." Kayla said with a smirk as she leaned in a kissed my cheek.

"You're gross." I said giggling as I pushed her face away from me.

"Come on, accept my love!" Kayla said as she attacked me with kisses.

"I'll accept your love after you take me out for breakfast." 

"Deal. Let's go!" Kayla shot out of bed and headed toward her closet.

I laughed at her reaction. God Kayla was something else, but I loved it.

Kayla came back with two hoodies and two pairs of leggings. She tossed it at me and I noticed how it the hoodie had her name on it.

"Funny how every time we go out and I need to borrow clothes you give me something of yours that has your name on it."

"Well I gotta let people know you're mine. You want me to give you a hickey too?" Kayla said as she walked toward me and placed her hands on my hips.

"There's other ways to let people know that you know." I said teasingly as I wrapped my arms around her neck.

"Oh? What's that?"

I ignored her and started kissing her neck. It was kind of a sloppy kiss but then I started to suck on her skin. I sucked on it pretty hard for a good 5 seconds. When I pulled away I saw a decent sized hickey and I was proud of myself.

"Come on baby, let's go." I said as I grabbed Kayla's hand and pulled her toward the door. 

Kayla's face was still in shock but she quickly got out of it and kissing me on the forehead.

We got into the car and started driving to our favorite breakfast place. The radio was playing and Kayla was singing along to it.

"And I-I-I-I feel something so right doing the wrong thing." Kayla sang with one hand on the wheel and the other making dance moves.

"And I-I-I-I feel something so wrong doing the right things." I sang back as I grabbed her hand and placed it back on the steering wheel.

"I could lie, couldn't I couldn't I."

"EVERYTHING THAT KILLS ME MAKES ME FEEL ALIVE." We sang in harmony.

"Dude we could totally sing together." Kayla said as the song ended.

"Gross I don't wanna sing with you." I said playfully.

"Aw shut up babe you'd know we'd be great together." Kayla said as she placed her hand on my thigh. I was not expecting the sudden body contact and I flinched when she touched me, causing her to pull away her arm right away. 

"Sorry. Sorry. I didn't mean to push your boundaries." Kayla said nervously as she gripped the steering wheel tightly.

"No it's okay. Don't worry about it." I said softly as I looked out the window.

"I'm sorry that I hurt you." 

I didn't say anything and I just stared out the window. Every time I thought of Jesse and Kayla together, it made my blood boil with anger. The fact that Kayla allowed someone to touch her and do intimate things with her when she was with me made me furious. Maybe taking her back was the wrong time. Maybe what Kayla did was unforgivable. 

"We're here." Kayla said as she put the car into park .

We walked in silence into the restaurant and there was a lot of people in the waiting area since it was brunch hour. We got a number and the hostess told us it was going to be a 15 minute wait.

Kayla and I stood next to each other while we were scrolling on our phones. I was reading this article when Kayla leaned over and whispered into my ear.

"That girl over there is checking you out." Kayla said with a hint of jealous in her voice.

I looked over and saw a tall blonde girl staring at me. I decided to have a little fun with Kayla . "Yeah? Well lucky her I'm looking great today." I teased Kayla as I flipped my hair.

"You're my girl though. Gotta let her know you're mine." Kayla said as she stepped closer to me.

"Oh yeah? How are you going to do that?"

Kayla grabbed my butt and kissed me deeply. When we pulled away from the kiss, the blonde was looking uncomfortable and avoided eye contact with us.

"Yes that's right, she's mine." Kayla whispered as she smiled victoriously. 

I laughed her, "You're so silly." I said as I kissed her cheek.

"I'm not. I'm just letting everyone know that this beautiful goddess is taken by me. No one else can have you." Kayla said as she kissed my nose.

We got our table down and we sat down. We looked at the brunch menu and I was excited just looking at the menu.

I ordered an omelet with fries and Kayla ordered chicken and waffles.

"Do you want to order fries? Cause I know you'll be eating mine and you know how I feel about you eating off my plate." I told her as I took a sip of water.

"Oh no I won't eat your fries I promise." Kayla said with a giggle. "I'll control myself for the sake of your fries."

When the food came, I was so excited. My omelet came with fries and a few pieces of toast. Kayla's chicken came with fluffy buttermilk waffles and it looked so good.

I started eating my omelet and saving all the flavors that exploded into my mouth. 

Suddenly I saw Kayla taking fries off my plate.

"Hey! You said you wouldn't eat my fries!" I groaned as I slapped her hand.

"I'm not!" Kayla said as she continued to take fries off my plate.

"Kayla just order your own side of fries."

"Fine." She said in defeat as she ordered a side of fries.

When the order of fries came, she was happy and then proceeded to start taking fries from my plate.

"Kayla! You literally have a bowl of fries next to you!" I nearly exploded.

"I know. I just like taking food off your plate more." 

"You're ridiculous, I hate you."

"You love me." Kayla teased as she bit into a fry.

"Debatable, especially right now." I said with a glare.

"Okay babe here." She pushed the bowl toward me.

I grabbed some fries out of the bowl and started eating.

"Love me now?" Kayla asked with a smile.

"Eh, I'll think about it." I said as I continued to eat Kayla's fries.

That went on for the rest of the time we were at the restaurant. The next problem we came was when the bill came.

I wanted to split it and Kayla wanted to pay for it all. Typical.

"Come on let me pay." Kayla said with her hand over the bill.

"No come on let's just split it Kayla."

"No just let me pay." 

Suddenly I had an idea. "Okay I'll let you pay if we can do what I want after this."

"Okay deal." Kayla said happily as she paid for the bill.

We walked out of the restaurant hand in hand and got into her car.

"So what are we doing?" Kayla said as she started her car.

"We're going to my house to hang out with my family." I said.

Kayla's eyes grew wide and she suddenly looked very scared.
