Christy's POV
I woke up I feeling empty. I don't know to describe it but the feeling of being so alone and isolated from everything. I mean I know I'm quite popular and I have tons of friends and family who love me but I have ever felt so alone. I never knew I was alone. This is why I don't do relationships. I should had never made an exception for her.
The doorbell rang and I heard footsteps moving to answer it. About a minute later I heard a knock on the door and Steph opened the door slightly and stuck her head in.
"Hey, Natalie and Parker are outside and they brought food. Do you want them to stay or should I tell them to come back another time?"
"No it's fine let them stay." I said as I got off my bed and put on a pair of shorts and walked out the door.
"Maddie has a hockey tournament today, do you want Katelyn to drive her and I'll stay with you?" Steph asked as she walked with me to the living room.
"No it's fine just go. I have Natalie and Parker to keep me company."
As we walked out into the living room I saw a three bags of take out boxes plus a Safeway grocery bag. They said hey to me and I sat down in the couch between them.
Steph nodded. "Hey Natalie and Parker, we're going out for Maddie's hockey tournament. Keep Christy company and if Kayla swings by kick her fucking ass for me." Steph grabbed her car keys and started walking toward the front door.
"After my tournament is over I'm going to bring the entire team over the Kayla's house and we're all going to beat her with our hockey sticks." Maddie said as she walked through the living room carrying a huge duffel with her skates in one hand and her sticks in the other.
"As much as I want to join in on that I'm going to have to play the parent role and say no." Steph grumbled.
"Come on let's get a move on. Christy there's money on the counter if we're not home by 7 for dinner." Katelyn said, walking toward the front door.
"Bye guys. Kick ass today Maddie." I said while waving.
"I'll destroy everyone don't worry, I'll just imagine that they're Kayla." She laughed.

"Your family is so fucking cool." Parker said with a hint of jealously.
"Yeah man they're wicked cool. Remind me to never mess with you." Natalie said nervously.
"Let's eat!" Parker said as she took out take out boxes full of sushi.
"Oh my god I love you guys." I exclaimed. My friends always knew how to make me feel better.
"Wait put the ice cream in the freezer." Parker said to Natalie. Oh my god they brought ice cream too. Man what did I do to have such loyal friends?
We ate a few pieces before Natalie spoke up.
"So have you talked to Kayla yet?"
Suddenly there was tension in the air but then I swallowed the lump in my throat and spoke.
"No I haven't even checked my phone."
"What are you going to say to her?" Parker said reaching for the soy sauce.
"Well first thing is find out how long she's been cheating on me and then break up with her. Cut that bitch off."
"I'm glad you think that. Don't be one of those girls who goes back to the person who cheated on them. Once a cheater, always a cheater. Some people don't deserve a second chance." Natalie said boldly.
"Ahem girl!" Parker said as she high fived Natalie.
Suddenly the doorbell rang and Natalie set down her take out container full of sushi and walked toward the door.
"Kayla." Natalie said in a monotone voice.
"Oh hey Natalie, what are you doing here?"
"I think you should leave Kayla." Natalie started closing the door but Kayla pushed the door so it would stay open.
"Why? I'm here to see Christy who happens to be my girlfriend, so I think that it should be you who's-"
"Kayla I think you should leave." I said while walking to the front door.
Kayla made a confused face. "Why? I even brought you food and-"
"I know you've been cheating on me with Jesse." My voice cracked when I said that and I could feel the tears threatening to spill out of my eyes.
"Christy let me explain." Kayla said as she tried to come in but Natalie held her back. I noticed that Parker got up and was standing behind me as if she was my protective older sister. Right now it felt like they were filling in for Steph and Maddie.

"I don't need an explanation when I saw him holding you and kissing you." I shot back as tears streamed down my face.
"Christy he was nothing just listen I-" Kayla stepped forward but I took one step back.
"No you don't have to explain it to me. I remember asking you if you and Jesse were something on our first date and you said no. But now here we are a few months later. I asked and you lied, there's no more than that."
"I'm sorry Christy. Please I won't be with Jesse anymore, he was nothing." Kayla was crying now.
"If he didn't mean anything then why would you cheat on me to be with him? And what do you mean it was nothing your tongue was down his throat YESTERDAY."
"I don't know! I-Just come on we can fix this." Kayla pleaded.
"How long were you cheating on me?" I regretted it the second it came out of my mouth. I wanted to know at first but now, I didn't.
"It was just once Christy and he was coming for me after the soccer game."
"We're done. Good bye Kayla." I walked away and headed for the couch.
"No Christy please-!" Kayla tried pushing through Parker and Natalie to get to me but they held her back and pushed her outside the door and closed the door. The next thing I heard was Kayla banging on the door and her repeating 'I'm sorry' over and over again.
Natalie and Parker walked over to the couch where I was clutching a pillow and holding it to my chest as I cried silently. Natalie wrapped her arms around me and rubbed my back.
"Shh it's going to be okay."
"Why would she do that to me? If she didn't want me she could've just broken up with me."
Parker then turned on the TV to watch Orange is the New Black. We sat there and ate our sushi and watched the show.
"Dude I would totally turn gay for Alex Vause." Parker said, nearly drooling at Alex.
"Who would you turn gay for Natalie?" I asked her, genuinely curious.
"Emma Watson, Michelle Rodriguez, Selena Gomez, Alex Morgan, Shay Mitchell-"
"Wait." I cut her off and burst out laughing. "If you're willing to turn gay for all those girls, you're gay. Like it means you like girls."
"What do you mean? I like boys." Natalie said while turning red.
"Shut up Nat, you haven't had a boyfriend since 8th grade. You're totally gay. Which is great which means you're my gay best friend." Parker said while laughing.
"No I'm not...well maybe I am. Whatever I'm not looking for a relationship right now anyways." Natalie said with a huff. "Maybe I am gay. Oh well it's not like that's bad. Girls seem better than guys anyways."
"Yeah true."
Kayla's POV
I was sitting in my car, crying uncontrollably in front of Christy's house. I mean yeah I cheated on Christy but she wouldn't even listen to what I had to say! What's wrong with me having a boyfriend and girlfriend at the same time anyways? I picked up the phone and called Diana. The phone rang and rang and she didn't pick up. I threw my phone onto the passenger seat and sighed. I didn't know what to do.
Then I started driving. Next thing I know, I'm at Jesse's house ringing his doorbell. My make up probably looked like shit but who cares.
He answered the door and looked surprised. "Kayla? What's wrong babe?" He said while pulling me into his arms.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and cried. "Christy broke up with me."
He didn't say anything and he picked me up and carried me into his room.
"It's okay Kayla she wasn't shit. I bet she couldn't make you feel as good as I made you." He said with a smirk and kissed me. He started planting the kisses lower and lower and then started reaching for my jeans to unbutton them. That snapped me to reality and I pushed him away from me.
"I have to get Christy back." I said while standing up.
"Aw come on babe I can offer so much more than her. And I can make you feel sooo much better than she does." He said while pulling me down toward the bed.
"No Jesse. I have to get her back."
"Okay then. When she says no remember I'll be right here. Maybe then you'll have some sense and finally become mine."
