It was our one month anniversary and it kind of sucked because Kayla had her last preseason game on the same day. However I was grateful because it was a Saturday morning game at 11 so at least we would have the afternoon and night to ourselves.

The game was actually a really good game, it was a tie game until the 85th minute when Kayla scored a goal. I was so proud and I left up and yelled 'that's my girl!' which caused her to send a smile my way. Now the game just ended and I was waiting for their team meeting to be over so I could be with Kayla. Finally, I saw them start getting their stuff.

I walked toward Kayla and when she saw me coming toward her, she had a huge smile on her face. When I was within arms reach, she wrapped her arms around my waist, picked me up and kissed me.

When she set me down, she gave me another kiss and I decided to playfully play with her.

"Ew gross you're all sweaty." I said while pushing her away from me slowly.

"Aw you don't want any of this?" Kayla pulled me into her and wrapped my arms around me. She then wiped some of her sweat that was on her head on me.

"Oh my god, GROSS." I shoved her away and wiped her sweat off me.

"Aw but you love me baby." She leaned in and kissed me before pulling away and smiling at me.

"You guys are disgusting," a voice said.

We turned around and saw Natalie standing there. We were both pretty close with Natalie since she played both soccer and basketball and she was always making fun of us, in a loving way of course.

"Nat there's no reason to be jealous." I said as I planted another kiss on Kayla's lips.

"You're love sick, Johnson." She said while walking away from the bench.

"Come on babe, let's get going. I've got a whole day planned for us." Kayla grabbed her soccer bag in one hand and my hand with the other.

As we walked to her car, I took a good look at Kayla. She was in her blue and white soccer uniform with her tied all the way up. Her cleats were hanging off her duffel bag and she was in shorts. She was still sweaty and her face was slightly red. Damn did she look hot right now.

I stopped her and kissed her deeply. "You look really hot right now." I told her while licking my lips slightly.

Kayla kissed me again and bit my lip teasingly. Then she gave me another soft kiss and pulled away. "Now you know how I felt during those basketball games." She said with a smirk.

"Okay but that's not fair. You're like 10x hotter and I-"

"Babe, don't ever say that again. Don't bring yourself down like that okay?"

I nodded and we hopped into Kayla's car. What I love most about car rides is that most of the time, Kayla would be holding my hand while she drove or she would place her hand on my thigh. There would also always be music playing which meant karaoke sessions in the car every time we drove together.

We were only at Kayla's house so she could shower and drop off her stuff. While she showered, I laid on her bed and played on my phone. Suddenly I was tackled from the side and Kayla was straddling me.

"Whatcha doing there, Kay?" I asked curiously with a smile.

"Oh you know just enjoying the view." She said while placing her hands on my stomach and grinning mischievously.

"Oh? Well I like this view better." I said while motioning her.

"Well I get to cop a feel though." She grabbed my breast with a smirk.

"So do I." I took both my hands and squeezed her ass.

"Come on enough with the teasing. I've got a whole day planned ahead for us." She leaned down and gave me a kiss before getting up.

Kayla got dressed and told me to meet her downstairs and she gathered some things for our date. When she walked downstairs, she was carrying a backpack and a picnic basket of some sort and a cooler.

"Aw you're taking me on a picnic?" I gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"You'll see baby." She told me and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

We got into the car and Kayla drove for a good thirty minutes before stopping at a park. Kayla got out of the car and ran around to open my door. I smiled her a thanks as she grabbed the backpack, basket, and cooler. We talked for a good ten minutes before we stopped in front of a beautiful lake. There was a small waterfall on the left side of the lake where a stream emptied into the lake. On the right there was a small bridge that went over the lake.

"Does this place have a good enough view for our picnic?" Kayla asked me while giving me a light squeeze.

"It's perfect."

Kayla lay down a huge picnic blanket and set everything down. She opened the cooler and took out two take out boxes full of sushi. They had all my favorites in here: California rolls, spicy tuna rolls, tuna and salmon sashimi, and even two hand rolls!

"Aw babe. How'd you know? We never went on a sushi date before." I told her with a wide smile.

"Yes we have, right now is one. And I asked a few friends and I had to pull some strings but I made it work." Kayla told me with a small smirk.

We started eating the fresh sushi, which was heavenly by the way, while looking at the lake.

"Saw 'aaaaa' babe." I told her while holding a California Roll between my chopsticks.

"Aaaaaa." Kayla said as she opened her mouth and I placed the roll into her mouth.

"Now you saw 'aaaa'." She held up a chunk of wasabi up to my mouth.

"I'll kick your ass if you try that on me again Kayla." I shot her a glare and she just laughed while putting up her hands in surrender.

When we finished the sushi, Kayla brought out a bunch of strawberries and a small container of melted chocolate.

I dipped one into the chocolate and held it up to her mouth. She opened her mouth and right before I put it into her mouth, I shifted right slightly and it hit the corner of her mouth which caused the chocolate sauce to stick on her face.

"You little shit." She said as she took the strawberry from me and ate it herself.

"Hey babe, you got something right there." I pointed to the corner of her lip.

"Wow I wonder whose fault was that." She said while giving me a side eye and wiping off the chocolate.

After we finished the chocolate and strawberries, Kayla took out a bottle of apple cider. She took out two champagne glasses and poured half a glass of cider in each glass.

She handed me one and then raised her glass. "To one month of pure happiness, laughter, and joy. Happy one month anniversary Christy." She said with a huge smile.

"Happy one month anniversary Kayla." I said back with a smile equally as big .

We clinked glasses and took a sip of the apple cider. I held the glass in my hand and laid my head onto her shoulder. We stared out into the lake together while taking small sips of apple cider.

"Kayla?" I asked in a soft voice.

"Hm?" She replied. She was softly playing with my hair without breaking eye contact with the lake.

"I love you."

Kayla stopped playing with my hair and sat up. She then turned to face me and looked directly into my eyes. "You do?"

I started talking super fast because I noticed she didn't say it back. "Yeah I do. Sorry if it freaked you out or anything. You don't have to say it back I just wanted to let you know and-"

"No no no. I love you too. I really do. I was planning to tell you soon but I was too scared to and-"

I leaned in and kissed her deeply. Partly because she was talking so much, but also because I loved her. The kiss was much more passionate than any other kiss we had before. Her tongue suddenly was asking for entrance and I gave it to her. We battled for dominance for a while before we both pulled away to breathe.

There was a slight pause before we spoke.

"Damn that was..."

"Amazing? Intense?" Kayla finished my sentence for me with a smile.

"Yeah it was."

"I love you." I told her again.

"I love you too." Kayla told me.

That honestly made my heart flutter. It makes my heart skip a beat and smile like an idiot.

"Oh yeah I have something for you." Kayla said while opening the zipper to her backpack. She took out a box and handed it to me.

I opened it and it was a small silver bracelet. It had a heart shaped charm attached to it and it had "K+C" engraved onto it.

"Aw babe! Oh my god you didn't have to!"

"I want to. Here let me help you put it on." Kayla reached for the bracelet and placed it on my wrist. Then she slipped it onto and gave me a smile.

I really loved it. It was such a sweet nice gesture. A bit cliche, but I loved it.

"Oh wait I got you something too!" I reached for my backpack and pulled out a flat jewelry box.

"Babe I'm supposed to be the one spoiling you." She told me while giving me a look.

"Yeah but I like spoiling my baby too." I told her as I gave her a kiss.

She opened the box and pulled out a silver necklace. It had a heart shaped charm on it.

"Okay so I didn't get an engraving because I didn't know what you want so I was thinking that we could go together and have it done for you." I told her truthfully.

"Well I'm gonna get K+C so then we can match."

"Ewwww how cheesy of you."

"Oh please you love it." She pulled me into her lap and wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Yeah I do actually." I leaned in and gave her a soft gentle kiss.

Today was honestly amazing. After the picnic at the lake, Kayla brought me to an aquarium and honestly it was so fun. Kayla loved fishes and she looked like a happy little kid walking around admiring all the fishes. It was the most adorable thing I ever seen. Then for dinner she brought me to a diner where she shared a milkshake and ate amazing burgers. Now we were at Kayla's house and we're laying on bed. My head is rested against Kayla's chest and her arm is wrapped protectively over mine.

I turned her head slightly so she would face me. I stared at her for a moment before leaning in to kiss her. At first the kiss was soft, sweet, and delicate but then it turned into a passionate kiss. After about 5 minutes of making out, it led to desire. Kayla's hands began wandering under my shirt and she cupped my breast as she kissed me.

That got a slight moan out of me and caused Kayla to pause and pull back.

"Am I going too fast for you?" She asked softly.

"Are you sure?"

I nodded my head and closed the space between us, pressing our lips together once again. Kayla then climbed on top of and started taking more control. She started kissing my neck and nibbling slightly on my earlobe which caused my whole body to shudder.

Kayla pulled away once more. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes, I want you."

And with that, Kayla took off her t shirt and then mine. She crashed her lips onto mine and slowly started grinding on me. I felt my legs spread open for her and she kissed me more hungrily and deeply each second. She ran her hand up my chest and held my breasts.
